When a large branch came down during a storm and impaled itself about six inches from our shed we knew we had to do something before the tree came down on our house or garage. Due to its proximity to our garage, shed, privacy fence and house it was obvious it was going to be a difficult job. I had estimates from a few tree companies but once Brandon came out and accessed the situation I immediately knew my search was over. His estimate was very fair but more than that I was impressed with his confidence, knowledge and professionalism. He assured my wife and I that he had all the skills and necessary equipment needed to complete the job. He addressed all our concerns so we decided to move ahead with the project. We also decided to have a tree in the front yard trimmed a bit. Brandon's Tree Service arrived at hour house on schedule with lots of equipment and a crew of five. They worked together very well as a team and kept in constant communication with each other via headsets as the work was being performed. They did an amazing job, it really couldn't have gone any better. My wife and I were impressed at the skill, attention to detail and teamwork displayed throughout the day. Upon completion they did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the job that Brandon's Tree Service did for us. We highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service. You can expect a fair price, great service and quality results. It was a pleasure to work with Brandon and his crew.

One was about 1 1/2 ft. tall and the other was about 2 1/2 ft. tall. They left the stumps because the trees were in a rock bed and the tall stump supposedly had a wire fence grown into it. My neighbor asked me if I could take the stumps down to ground level. I moved the rock (which wasn't much) from around the base of the stumps and pulled the fence away from the other stump. The taller stump did not have any fence growing into it like they said. I removed both stumps with my 16"Stihl chainsaw. The picture file was too large to upload.. Also, they parked their crane on her driveway and broke her new concrete. The only thing they offered her for the broken concrete was to remove the broken pieces for her.

I had a tree in the front yard that the power company cut back from power lines. They cut off so much that I think the already half dead tree was weakened. A storm came, and a branch broke off on my roof. Thanfully, the roof was not damaged . They removed the branch from my roof. Felled the tree methodically, cleaned up. Job well done. June 26, My neighbors tree fell. She is elderly and I called to see if she was doing ok and see if she had someone lined up to take care of her tree because if not I had a good recommendation. She said she didn't and asked me to take care of the communication scheduling etc. I was glad to help as she is a great friend as well. Called Adam and got things scheduled and also added a tacked town of two little trees in my yard. Rain postponed things for a week which is fine and understandable for sure. The very first dry day the team arrived and Lickety split before I wondered how they were progressing I looked out the window and they were nearly done. As before good cleanup completed job and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Tree Lyfe Review - Exceptional Service, Great Price, and Even Better People…read more I had been searching for months to find someone willing to take on a tricky job: trimming significant overhanging limbs from my neighbor's property into mine, as well as removing a tree entangled in power and communication lines...something the city refused to touch. Over that time, I had about ten different people come out for estimates. Some turned the job down entirely, and others gave quotes that just weren't reasonable. We were getting frustrated and about ready to give up. Then, this past Thursday, while driving my son to work, my wife noticed a crew cutting trees in someone's yard. She stopped, asked if they had a flyer, and brought it home to me. It was Tree Lyfe. Expecting the usual runaround, I called the number for an estimate. To my surprise, Mike came out the very next day, right on time. I explained the full scope of the job, and after listening carefully, he gave me a quote that was more competitive than anything I had seen so far. I immediately told my wife. She was a little hesitant at first, wondering if the lower price might mean lower quality. But I asked her how the neighbor's yard looked after their job and she said it looked great. They had even neatly cut and stacked all the debris for city pickup. That sealed it. I called Mike back and asked how soon they could do the job. He said he could get it done that weekend. Sure enough, on Saturday, Mike, Robert, and Jimmy showed up on time and got right to work. Every one of them was incredibly polite and professional. They completed all the cutting in one day, then came back the next day to thoroughly clean up, cut, and stack all the debris. I am beyond impressed with Tree Lyfe. They treated my property with the same care and attention I imagine they'd give their own homes. I took photos and videos while they worked and the results speak for themselves. If you're looking for tree work done right, don't hesitate to give Tree Lyfe a call at 757 740 2098. I've already saved their number and plan to use them again for future projects. Five stars, without a doubt.

I don't know what has changed within the company but they're better then they were before. No more huge clippings left behind, they take extra care around ornaments, I do see a supervisor come around. Landscaping looks great. Happy with their work. ************************************** Giving a 1 star because of several reasons. While they seem to work better with individual home landscaping their service a apartment complexes is not the same. They've been coming here for the past 5 years or so and do not clean up the mess of massive clippings left behind from underneath the mowers. They've left chicken bones from lunch laying under trees where dogs get to them and have broken lawn ornaments three times. The biggest gripe are the mower clippings. The sidewalk clippings they blow away but the rest is left behind. We have quite a few dogs that eat grass. With the chemical treatments added to this, it's absolutely insane they don't take the time to rake up what's left. As for landscaping, they trim the edges. They don't trim tress unless asked, they don't remove dead limbs or plants unless asked. No, not happy with their service at all. The landscapers we had before them were great. I guess when you go with a cheaper company, that's what you get. Rant over.
