The team came in and left the place even cleaner than when I moved in. Not a single detail was missed. My neighbor recommended Sunshine Cleaning Solution, after I complimented her living room and asked how she kept her home so immaculate with 3 kids running around. I was skeptical, because I am a neat freak and I've tried cleaning services before, but they never cleaned up to my standards. Well, I can honestly say Sunshine Cleaning Solution did an amazing job. They cleaned EVERYTHING. They were professional, fast, affordable and most importantly detail-oriented (trust me I'm hard to please). They did such a good job I contracted them to clean my office weekly and my home bi-weekly. It's such a joy to come in to a room that smells fresh and looks clean and clear. I HIGHLY recommend them!

The worst experience I have ever had with any cleaning company. I hired them for a deep move-in…read morecleaning and paid them $400 for an empty unfurnished one bedroom apartment two weeks ago. They didn't finish half the items on the list to clean (such as kitchen cabinets and vents) even though these items were stated in the service agreement. They left dust balls everywhere. It it absolutely filthy (pictures of how they left my vents and cabinets attached). When I raised the issue with them, they said these were stains that couldn't be removed, but I wet one paper towel with water and was able to remove all the dust and stains. It's clear they didn't even try. They sent their team TWO times and their team rushed through and didn't clean most items, and when I flagged more spots that were left dirty, they asked to send their team a third time... absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea how they have 4.5 stars here. Do yourself a favor and go with another company. Merry Maids's customer service and quality of work is very poor and not worth the money whatsoever.

2020 Initially, I…read morewas satisfied with the service for the price. I used them for some time (house cleaning on monthly bases). Recently, there was a two month gap between cleanings. The appointment was made as usual and they arrived to perform the job (w/o owner). During the cleaning, I got a call from the owner asking if I was getting a deep clean to which my response was no. She did not say that I was supposed to pay more or because of the gap of two months that the cleaning is now considered a deep cleaning. Nor did she define what that entails. I guess the inquiry came because one of her employees complained... I dont know. I asked the employees did they think they were doing a deep clean and they said no. Also they didn't clean one of the bedrooms (which I generally tell them not to but I still pay the same rate). I did not think that I was asking for too much to be done, I thought no more of it. Afterwards, I paid for services rendered at the agreed price for my size home and rooms. Fast forward to the next month, I had not heard back from them and I reached out to confirm the upcoming appointment. I was told by text that she would no longer clean my house because I received a deep clean and I only paid the regular rate. She did not think that that was fair. I was totally at wits end because I had no clue. I would have appreciated being told that I was to pay extra at the time of service and/or the option to discuss the matter but instead when I tried to contact them several times by call and text, they would not answer the phone. I am a big communicator and believe any situation can be resolved with discussion, not being passive-aggressive and ignoring. I cannot appreciate her calling my integrity into question by stating that I did not pay the correct price. However, if I was to pay more, I would've liked to have known how much. I would've much preferred a courtesy call to discuss the matter and possibly resolve. I don't think this was very professional.

This "company" is run by John Hipp Jr., himself. Probably just him and nobody else. He does a…read moregood job cleaning, but you have to put up with his attitude and rudeness. He was recommended by a friend for his quality of work, but I can see not for his professionalism. Let's get to why he gets 1 star even though he cleans well. First, he's an older, stubborn man. We wanted him to use our glass cleaner because it doesn't leave streaks. He refused. He insisted on using his old brand which left streaks that he claimed to use for 10 years. Basically, we had to redo the windows. Second, he requires you to pick up everything off the floor or he won't work it. We left things on the floor once and he muttered a rude comment. Third, he insists we leave the house. We cannot do that. Leaving him alone in our house is not an option. In his words, "you need to just get out my way. " Just another rude comment he normally comes across with. Lastly, he also does not let you come back to him if you stop his services. Much like a threat. So we decided to stop services because he has become too inconvenient. He texted back to "not waste his time" and to never contact him again. The one thing that bothered us most was that he also gossiped about our friend who recommended him. He did not have nice things to say. He also complained about his other long term clients. He would also pride himself with the ability to stop services with any client he wanted. Basically another threat. He has a website, but don't believe the testimonials. He is actually rude and not courteous. He has the mentality that he doesn't need your business because he has other clients. If you notice his testimonial dates, they are over a year ago. I added his business to yelp so others can be aware of this guy's business practice. I would not recommend him.

He does a great job cleaning - far better than I could do myself. His prices are VERY reasonable - and always has some form of referral incentive. I work from home and have two dogs at home with me, and John has always been flexible with me working in one bedroom with the two dogs while he cleans the rest of the house. Then he cleans the bedroom last - it's been so helpful! If I had one "warning" it would be that John is definitely a talker - meaning that he likes to catch up while I'm home. I don't mind because I like the conversation :)
