She is easy going, caring and very encouraging. I never feel rushed when meeting with her which I can appreciate. Dr. Northrop not only exceeded my expectations during pregnancy but also was great at lifting me up during some of the hard times. There are 2 other doctors at WCA, Dr. Pearce and Dr. Bhakta. Both of them are great so if your original doctor is unavailable no worries. Dr. Bhakta recently joined WCA and was the one who actually delivered my little one. I met her a couple weeks before and honestly it felt like she was my doctor the entire 9 months. Thanks to her for an incredible birth experience! Overall I would recommend WCA to anyone. Her holistic approach is just what I've been looking for. Dr Snead is very patient & kind. He did the internal ultrasound that discovered my fibroids. I absolutely LOVE that he offers to pray for you after every appt. He recently did my hysterectomy (11/2024) he prayed for us before surgery which really helped put my nerves at ease. I'm healing so well and I barely have scars. I've heard a few say Ms Angela rushes around. If so she does her job well and really listens. It's up to the patient to advocate any needs. There's only 2 of them and they care for so many, I always make sure to bring a list of concerns or questions and I always walk away feeling heard.

I was once told eleven times buy three different people that my insurance might not cover the cost. Every time I want to have this done i have to repeat over and over ' insurance will pay for it if you submit it correctly. I have medicare. I have the original traditional medicare, not an advantage plan. They will pay for anything that is medically necessary. Just submit it correctly and there won't be any problems!' Usually they get me out the door without actually doing it. They say they're going to, but then the appointment is over and it hasn't been done and they aren't sending me over to the person who does that, they're sending me out. I have to insist to get it done, and it's always been paid for by medicare, but this last time it wasn't because they didn't submit it correctly, So now I can't get lab work from any doctor who tries to send me to labcor because I have a balance of almost three hundred dollars. No one ever there at women's health cares. The last person that I spoke with told me to tell them the code. I don't know billing codes! This is ridiculous. They are not motivated to get medicare to pay because the balance isn't owed to them, it's owed to labcorp. They should care that a patient of theirs of over twenty years needs this to be taken care of, but they don't. Please forgive my typos. In a world where my insurance is already billed thousands of dollars, the money out of my pocket is pretty valuable.
