Much thinner crust then they had a cpl years ago and when the crust is that thin the toppings need to go to the edge and not have an inch of exposed crust. I had to dress up my pepperoni pizza with Italian seasoning and garlic salt as there was very little flavor. Not how I remember them at all. Could have gotten a Jack's frozen pizza which is much cheaper and would have been just as satisfied. And could have driven to the store and cooked them for the same amount of time from order to pick up. I placed the order via the app and arrived 5 minutes earlier than my pick-up time and still waited 20 more minutes while everyone else picking up walked in and out in 2 minutes with their order. I'm guessing mine was forgotten or lost. The staff seemed average to nice but not much of an apology for the long additional wait. Deek's has impressed me with their customer service and the deals they offer. In my interactions with the staff, they are friendly and seem genuinely appreciative of my doing business with them. Regarding the deals, the most recent I took advantage of was the $14.99 for a 3-topping pizza. The pizza itself was good too. I obviously wouldn't be coming back to them if I didn't enjoy the pizza. My normal pizzas of choice are a thicker crust but sometimes I just feel like a big, thin crust pizza like they serve at Deek's. read more

I ordered two large pizzas from Deeks. I received breadsticks and a 2 liter of pop free. The price for this special was $24.99. The delivery was about 30 minutes to receive. When I opened up the pepperoni pizza it was burnt. I called them and they said they were busy. And that I could get credit to my phone number since I paid with cash or they could get me another pizza. However it would take up to 1.5 hours to receive. I feel if it was there mistake they should of delivered right away and apologized. Instead it was a inconvenience to them. I waited over a hour no pizza so I called again. Just went to pick up couple pies and dam I couldn't believe what I saw! The guy making a pepperoni pizza reaching up to his face with no glove on and scratched his face. Ordered pizza, two orders of cheese bread, and two orders of cinnamon donuts at 10pm but didn't receive my order until 2am and they left out one of our orders of the cinnamon donuts. At 11:30pm we called asking about our order, they said they tried calling us to get into the apartment but no one picked up. They had the wrong number. That's fine accidents happen. So they did a re order. An hour later at 12:30am we called and asked about our order, they said they called again and no one picked up to let them in, even tho we haven't received a single call. Had an xxl three topping delivered to my hotel room with a side of buffalo wings and a 2 L of soda for their special. The total was $25.14 plus tip and I will describe the results below: The pizza was good quite plentiful toppings unfortunately the sausage was pre-cooked and then re-cocked fairly tasty overall. The crust is not thin crust but not that thick either it reminds me of Pizzaman in Minneapolis which is not bad slightly chewy and not crunchy. The wings were very disappointing- good taste but the sauce did not cling to the product and there were no celery or carrot sticks let alone dipping sauce blue cheese or ranch... Had Deek's food for the first time today at another Yelp! event and was pleasantly surprised. I have to be honest and say that I've driven past the restaurant many times and have seen lots of coupons in the mail and online. I've always been hesitant about it. Not exactly sure why, but it just felt like a ho-hum sort of pizza place. That reputation is not fair or accurate. I had some slices of sausage and pepperoni and then a chicken and tomato pizza. Both were very good! Ingredients tasted of a good quality and it had the right amount of sauce and cheese. Being a Chicago guy, I could've gone for a thicker pie but it was still really tasty. Also, the outer crust was a bit too chewy for my taste, but not something that I would keep from ordering it again. It's a keeper. Had little chicken bites with buffalo sauce too. Those were great! Juice pieces of white meat; and a perfectly spicy buffalo recipe. Spread the word...Deek's is for real! read more

Breadsticks were good, hot wings were overdone and hot was still mild in my opinion. I usually don't anticipate pizza joints having superb wings though. The last two times I have ordered from the N University Deeks pizza, I have had TERRIBLE experiences. The first time I ordered a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza because a vegetarian would also be eating with us. When we finally opened the box there was a single pepperoni on the pizza. Such a disappointment. The second time we ordered a taco pizza and half of it was supposed to be without meat because again a vegetarian would be eating the pizza. When we opened the box there was meat ALL over the pizza. I had had enough and I called Deeks and asked to speak to the manager for the night. This kid was so rude and unapologetic to their mistake. He had no knowledge of the deeks website, and did not even know what the word vegetarian meant. He offered us two options either a credit for the pizza or a new pizza. I asked for a new pizza and he said he wouldn't do that so I asked for a credit and he said he wouldn't do that either even though he was the one who offered them. Deeks is alright pizza. The fact that the XX-Large is so huge tends to be a winner for drunk food. Sadly, I have no clue what the delivery area is since the person who answered the phone said it was "too complicated" to describe over the phone, other than west to 45th St. I didn't care that they didn't deliver to me out in West Fargo, which I stated, and I also stated that I was curious in case I wanted to order from a friend's place elsewhere in town. All I got was that they need an address to determine if the place is in their delivery area, which I think is total BS. I won't order from a place if I have to call every time I order from a different place to see if they can deliver. I know all my delivery areas when I'm at all my friends' places. I don't remember their addresses off the top of my head, but I can guess when I'm there which places will deliver. So, to the guy I talked to on the phone there, you're ridiculous and deterred me from wanting to order from you.
