There is plenty of parking and easy access to the building. Dr. Rosenzweig specializes in knee surgery. I saw Dr. Rosenzweig for a torn meniscus after being involved in a car accident as a passenger. I called and made an appointment and spoke with their auto claims department. This made it very easy when going through my insurance company and adjuster to get all the necessary paperwork done. I started out first by doing physical therapy. After weeks of no relief from pain I had an MRI. Dr. Rosenzweig is very through and took the time to explain everything that was wrong, and based on my MRI results decided I needed knee surgery. During my appointments I never felt like I was a number or rushed. Dr. Rosenzweig was very patient and gentle and for an orthopedic doctor was pretty much on time. I had my surgery and everything went as planned. I was given instructions and pain meds so I wouldn't suffer. My follow up was just as pleasant and I didn't feel the stitches come out. Dr. Rosenzweig explained and showed me photos of the step by step surgery he preformed on my knee. I will be starting physical therapy and then see him again afterwards. I was in his office within 3 hrs and diagnosed with shingles. I started the meds right away. I have had the need to come here on various occasions (lower back, foot problems) and every time I've been here I've had nothing but exceptional service. From the warm greeting of the entire front desk staff, to the kindness and assistance provided by all the Physical Therapy Aides, to the care and expertise of the Physical Therapists themselves. I especially want to acknowledge the gentile bed side manners of Lucinda Quesada (PT Aide). She always welcomes me with a warm smile and an even warmer goodbye. She is meticulous and takes her time to explain clearly the specific exercises that are required as part of my plan of care. I also want to acknowledge two of the therapists, Christopher Jones and Payam Zarrinpour., both are exceptional. They are patient, knowledgeable, and truly take the time to understand my needs and concerns. They have a wide depth and breath of knowledge in physiology and human anatomy. But more importantly, I sincerely appreciate their sense of humor. Not only do their treatments make me feel better but their personality brings out a healthy hearty laugh in me every time. Sure there are many other PT centers. Some much larger, better equipped, and providing a huge suite of services . I know because I have been to some of them too. But IMHO what makes ActiveCare stand out among the rest is their genuine desire and focus to heal you in an environment that is not clinical but rather very family like. I recently had an issue with a frozen right shoulder. My doctor prescribed physical therapy 3 x…read moreweek for 4 weeks . I chose Active Care as I had previously used them many years ago for a back issue. My physical therapist was Payam Zarrinpour. Well he worked wonders ! I had two separate rounds of therapy and exercise and it cured my frozen shoulder. Today I was diagnosed with torn MCL in my left knee again my doctor prescribed PT. I went right back to active care to seek Payam's help! I'm sure in a month I'll be back to my old self skiing away!
