Once you become a patient making appointments is not difficult and rescheduling appointment is a breeze. Dr. Stecker is a very compassionate doctor. He listens to what I have to say when I explain my issues, and addresses each and every one of them. I like that they have their own x-ray machine and technician on hand. I can get an x-ray and have the results right then and there in less then 10 minutes. This is very helpful when your not exactly sure what the problem is. It really helps to rule out, or diagnose a problem. I'm getting shots in my knees for severe pain from an auto accident, and I feel Dr. Stecker uses the best medication out there to help with my problems. I am grateful that this practice treats you like a human being. He asked me how my pain is and if I need medication. So many doctors don't even care and your just a number. I've never felt that at this practice. When I had surgery, everything was carefully arranged and explained to me in detail. My follow up visits went smoothly and the course of treatment was known. I'm not really sure how to evaluate somewhere like this other than what I observed and my father's stories. Orthopedic Associates of Greater Lehigh Valley is part of St. Luke's hospitals. The building they are in is large and houses many different doctor's offices. Their office does not have a flashy waiting room. They have a TV in the corner that was blaring daytime TV - no one else was in the room so I shut it off. Their rehab facility has lots of new equipment. While there, there were two other people on the equipment. Each had their own trainer. He spent one hour working with his trainer after which he went to get cleaned up. I had the chance to talk to his trainer - he praised my father's progress and was candid about what was going well and what was not. I always appreciate candor, particularly when it comes to health. If I had the name of the trainer, I would mention him here. But, unfortunately I don't. But, if I had to have work of this nature done, I would trust Orthopedic Associates of Greater Lehigh Valley.

I have an appt with a Roth surgeon in two weeks but was in crisis mode and instead of taking a third admission to a regular hospital I tried Rothman urgent care. They were able to give me a cortisone injection into my scapula which immediately reduced my pain from a 10 to a six. I had no clue Rothman had urgent care but they actually have several locations including Marlton, Abington, Limerick and Hamilton. If you have an ortho issue I highly recommend over a traditional hospital. Very good to know this kind of urgent care exists.
