But it takes all but 10 minutes (if that) to go through,a very disorganized store. You think you are going into a good size store but half of this is blocked off. On facebook, the reply came and said, "Sure, come on down and we will take a look at them." A couple days later, I took the records down to the antique store. When I brought them in, I was told, "We aren't interested in records." I said, "The person running your Facebook profile said that you would take them and to bring them in." He then responded, "It wasn't me. We have five people who work here. I know I didn't tell you to bring them in" I then asked, "Why was I told on your facebook page that you would take them if you weren't going to?" he answered, "I didn't say I would take them. I don't run the Facebook page. We are not interested in buying the records." This is so frustrating. This is the third business I am told to come down with stuff they are interested in and getting there and being told they are not taking them. The worst part was that he didn't even go looking or asking to see who said that and he never apologized for the miscommunication. Very poor customer service. Never going there again.

The Quilt Shop is a hidden antique shop in Pueblo. Most people know about the shops on Union, but…read moreif you head up past the library, The Quilt Shop is right next door to The Pantry. I'm not sure if there's anything on the outside that says it's an antique shop, but once you walk inside you'll know it! I'm always kind of scared to walk around in here. There is tons of glass and the aisles are very narrow. It feels like way too much stuff for the floor space they have, but it's all organized pretty well so finding something isn't a nightmare. I've found some great treasure here. They seem to get new stuff all of the time, because I rarely see the same thing twice (at least the stuff I collect). The guy who works there seems a little grouchy, but he's a pretty nice guy once you get him talking. If you've been to the other antique shops on Union, head down to The Quilt Shop for a new experience.

When I was dealing with trying to sell my parents home I didn't know how I was going to tackle a house that had 60+ years of accumulation in it. John and his workers came in and packed everything, and had it all gone in less than 3 days.. It would have taken me literally months! The thing that really won me over is the detailed list of every single item he sold for me, and what it sold for. My parents had some very valuable coins and jewelry that I didn't even know existed... It would have been very easy for him to take advantage of me but thankfully they are honest people. 100% recommend John and his wife Leah at the Top Bid Auction in Pueblo!
