It's tough to bury the lede here. The wait at this truck was beyond anything I've experienced before at a food truck. In our neighborhood for the evening, Dee Queezys was definitely out of their comfort zone and overwhelmed. The line proved to be too much for them, leading to wait times of over an hour! A couple of times I started to just ask for a refund but I didn't want to further slow them down ultimately so I just waited, and waited, and waited, along with many others. When the food finally came, I walked home in the dark as the sun had long set despite my getting in line over an hour before the sun was expected to go down. When I arrived home, thankfully, I was pleased with what I saw and with what I tasted. No longer hungry after the long wait, I only sampled the wings and fries. The drummettes were big, thick, and juicy and the honey lemon pepper flavoring lightly coated the chicken skin. The chicken was well seasoned even without the sauce. The fries were also seasoned and everything was still hot. I had a bite of the kids burger and it had a nice grilled taste to it. The bottom line here is that the food is delicious but the wait is ridiculous. They needed more than two people on the truck and they needed more inventory as they ran out of the rib special as well as the pulled pork. Dee Queezys..... where everything is SAUCY!!!!!! I have yet to have a bad meal from this food truck but if I had to pick two favorites is the burger and wings HANDS DOWN! The owner and his wife are awesome and will make you feel like family. Their service is always outstanding. I catch them on Thursdays at sunny oaks RV park. As soon as they park is like the whole vibe of the park changes and everyone comes out to eat, share a beer and some good food. Dee Queezys food truck came to Lakecrest condos in February 29, they had amazing food and service!! I had the ribs.. the meat just fell off the bone, it was so tender and delicious! Let me start with the fact that the owners were extremely professional and accommodating. They brought their truck to our work and managed to put out a ridiculous number of lunches in only a few hours. There was not a single person who had anything to say mother than the food was fantastic. I personally tried the ribs, shrimp, and wings. All three were delicious. The homemade BBQ sauce for the ribs was sweet and tangy and complimented the meat flawlessly. The chicken wings were large and cooked to perfection. The breading on the shrimp did not overpower the flavor of the shrimp itself, instead it added a layer of saltiness that sent the shrimp to new levels. I just stopped by this truck at the Sun RV resort in Jax. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a side of fries. For 12 bucks I got a huge bacon cheeseburger and a huge side of really tasty fries. Simply amazing! I ordered a few times while in Jax visiting family and really enjoyed ALL of the food. He's got everything from burgers and fries, wings to stuffed salmon. It's more than a traditional food truck, it's also a high end restaurant on wheels! All the food just has that Dee Queezys magic to it. My advice... Too long of a wait, too expensive for what you get. The shrimp salad was pre-shredded bagged lettuce, pre-shedded bagged cheese, and kraft ranch. The grilled shrimp was tasty, so two stars. Wouldn't get a salad again. read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Heck, I would give 20 if that magically was an option. It has been a long time since I had amazing food with exceptional customer service. I plan on trying everything on the menu. Last night I got a shrimp basket with fries.The fries were seasoned with just the right about of flavor and the shrimp OMG the shrimp. So many places really love to make gummy flavorless oily nasty shrimp. Here you get light, crisp but not too crisp and the texture of the shrimp is melt in your mouth amazing shrimp. I wish I got 2 baskets instead of 1. The breading on the shrimp was a nice even balanced flavor. It wasn't too salt or seasoned to where you couldn't taste the shrimp but you could taste the magic that pulled the entire entree together. My mouth is watering just thinking about it now. I wish I took a picture but my fat ass was ready to gobble them whole lol. next time tho I will take a picture. Oh, my husband got the wings and my ohh my! They were delectable. I felt bad I kept taking bites of his cajun ranch wings they were large and sauced to perfection. The flavors just bounce off your tongue and dance a happy dance.
