There were 11other projects within 5-7 miles done at same time Not A Problem One !! After install :a New Garage was put up, Multiple large 35/40 year old oak trees were removed with large boom truck, contractors to paint/ side house. was instructed Not to drop a snow plow blade all the way down on drive ,,,drive is All on a up hill grade ( stone piled to High side of drive , water does not run up hill ! yard is a water holding area , were drive goes between . was showed were springs underground were. crew came out Twice , applied new tar and chips both times . after winter plowing and sever improvements were done to property. sorry , for the lack of understanding what Tar& Chip is verses blacktop. there were 2 return times to repair after properly improvements were done.

We had giant pools of water anytime it rained or snow melted and would get water in our garage. They did an excellent job grading our driveway and even created a channel to ensure we wouldn't have water problems in the future! The crew was respectful and friendly. The owner, Miguel Angel Bustos-Hernandez, came out, gave me a quote, and asked for one-third down. He told me cash was best. I paid the deposit in cash, and he emailed me a receipt showing the cash paid and the balance due. He also charged me extra for a fast turnaround, and we agreed the work would be done before the holiday. As the date got closer, the story started changing. He asked me to buy the materials myself on my own card. I told him I had already paid for the materials with the deposit and would not be giving him any more money. He then asked me to take the cashier's check I had set aside for the final balance, meet him at the bank, and cash it so he could buy supplies. I told him again that I would not pay another dime until the job was complete, and that I would cancel if it wasn't done by Memorial Day. After that, he assured me it would be 100% complete on time. The next day, he came by with material samples, and we picked our pavers. The day after that, he said the pavers would arrive in a day or two and asked which side of the driveway to put them on. That was the last I ever heard from him. No pavers, no work, and no response to my calls, texts, voicemails, or emails. I am still trying to recover my deposit. He kept me on the hook with samples and promises right up to the deadline, which to me looked like a deliberate effort to run out the clock so I wouldn't cancel. After he disappeared, I learned my experience wasn't unique. There are other negative reviews and Better Business Bureau complaints describing the same thing: a deposit taken and the work never done. Indiana court records are public on the state's MyCase site, and I'd encourage anyone considering this company to search the owner's name there and read the records for themselves before handing over any money. After what I discovered, I would not allow him to work at my home or be anywhere around my family and kids. Do your homework before you do any work with BriteView Landscaping. I wish I had.
