This email was sent twice in July and August. No response has been received…read more Mr. Wahbeh, Your company did my tile and wood floor installation in 2018. As you may recall, we made several complaints about the poor quality of work done. The grout was not applied properly and was streaking on the tile surface. The tile did not look clean and was smudged terribly. Leveling clips were not used, which caused our tile to be uneven. 12 x 24 tile is supposed t have leveling clips, but ours did not. We had over 40 loose tiles, many of which are cracked. Our tile professional is removing the tile and we discovered the following mistakes made. 1. The adhesive is not evenly applied. Tile of this size is supposed to be buttered on both sides to insure proper adhesion. See the attached photos. 2. No flexible substrate was used, even though we are on a pier and beam foundation. I was told that the backerboard would prevent movement when your company did the work. This was not correct; a flexible substrate should have been used according to tile professionals. 3. Flexible grout was not used. This is necessary with large format tile and specifically where installation is on pier and beam. The grout used was Fusion Pro which is specifically not to be used where there can be movement in the subfloor. Given the poor workmanship, we have now spent over $3,500 repairing and replacing tile. This is simply wrong on many fronts. I am hereby requesting reimbursement for $3,500 for our tile repair and replacement. I would like to hear from you by July 31st so that I can decide my next course of action. If you are unwilling to reimburse my cost of repairing the poor workmanship your company did, I will have to resort to a collection effort and advise others of our situation as appropriate.

Nick's work is among the most top notch. We recently hired Nick to replace our front door and let me tell you I couldn't be happier. We replaced a wood door with a beautiful iron and glass door. Nick's team completed the work within my timeline and we couldn't be happier with the way the new door looks. The door looks like it's always been there. Very pleased!!

He made a major mistake with my backsplash and then would not take responsibility for it. When it came to billing I believed he was overcharging me and not being honest about how much it cost. So I asked him to send me an invoice of all of the work that I had done he told me to "take a hike" I have the text to prove it. A business owner should always treat their customers with respect especially when a problem arises and there is absolutely no professionalism here. Do not ever get work done from this place. If you still decide to work with his business please be wary and get everything on paper. Because he will talk in circles and try to fool you. He took a major advantage of the trust that I gave him and then insulted me in the end.

This remodeling project was begun around July 21, 2022. About three and one-half weeks later, the job was listed as complete and we were once again able to use this bathroom. However, during the following week, we had to have someone come out again to make repairs: hot/cold water in the shower was flipped; hole along the tile and baseboard discovered; silicone was coming off the niche area in the shower; caulking was incomplete around the perimeter of the shower floor. Once those repairs were made, we thought that finally we were done. Nope. The paint on the ceiling started to peel above the shower. A lot. Finally had the painter return to repair that and we thought, once again, we were done. Apparently not, since we were told the ceiling was "fixed," but something different was evidently told to Roberto. After another week, the entire ceiling showed pieces of paint peeling off. Called for another repair. This time, Roberto came out and told us that the ceiling hadn't been done right in the first place and our only option was to tear out the entire ceiling and start over at an additional cost of $450. That did not sound like a reasonable idea, so it was then suggested that the ceiling texture be redone instead and painting would be done with eggshell (semi-gloss) paint rather than latex paint. We accepted that solution and waited for it to be fixed, finally. Painter came out and did the work at the end of September, but in total we were once again out of that bathroom for 5 days waiting for texture, primer and paint to dry. However, this seems to have truly repaired the problem - thank goodness. Then I get emailed an invoice for $350 for the ceiling repair. Wow. Paid that invoice on September 27, 2022: almost 10 weeks after the job was begun. Unfortunately for Roberto and his crews, though, he was what you can call "penny wise and pound foolish." We had informed every contractor that gave us a bid for this bathroom that based on our experience, we would then move forward for the really big job -- a complete remodel of the master bathroom -- a much larger and more expensive project. Because of the 6-week drag after "completion" and delay due to the ceiling repairs (along with other fixes) and the $350 invoice we received, we did not even consider a bid from Kitchen & Bath Remodeling for our master bathroom. Chose another contractor instead.
