TERRIBLE PRODUCT & SERVICE!!!…read more After 30 years, we decided to replace our garage popcorn ceiling with texture ceiling. This was done by Blue Sky on July 7, 2025. In the middle of October 2025, we noticed our ceiling texture was starting to crack. It is now November 17, 2025 and we've left multiple messages for the owner Mr. Clay Ollsen to contact us. Neither he or anyone with the firm will return our calls. In hindsight, we should never have used this firm. Why in the world would a company not returning a customer calls? We just don't think this is fair. We now are going to have to hire another firm to finish work done less than five months ago!

Beautiful exterior paint job in Highland Lakes…read more This company did a fabulous job on our interior popcorn removal and painted the walls. We used them again for the exterior too. What a wonderful job, they brought a team in and finished it in a few days. They have a very professional work ethic and will review and correct any issues you may have. Manuel (aka Manny) was a standout person to work with and did a great job. I would use them again in a heartbeat. They are bonded and insured. I could have gone cheaper and used a non-licensed contractor, but the time frame would have been much longer and if he became sick or injured, I would be up a creek without a paddle.

He was on the job 10-15 minutes early everyday and worked hard the entire time he was here. He was very friendly to the kids and the dog too. Safety was a huge priority. He is also very good at troubleshooting anything that comes up as the job progresses as we all know every job has more little jobs uncovered along the way. We highly recommend Golden Touch for all your home repairs and remodels.

TOTAL SCAM ARTIST!! This contractor uses a person named "Lucy" (as outlined in Art Valletta's…read morereview) and she is a total scammer. As Art says, you give her your money, and suddenly, all communication stops. I took it upon myself to call the registered owner of Golden Touch Contracting, LLC, (Henry Argjendari), and he informed me that he contracts Lucy to do work for him from time to time, but she isn't on the payroll. That's quite unfortunate for him, because she is using his company's Joist Account to provide customers with their receipts in his company's name for their deposits. I found Lucy's add on Facebook Marketplace, and she was super responsive, well reviewed, and actually came out to my home for the initial deposit, and to take measurements. However, after I gave Lucy a check for $810.00 on 10/25/23, and an additional $120.00 to do some touch up work, she has basically ghosted me. She will have you write out the check and Zelle payment to her wife, "Christina Epperson," and that's the last communication you will receive unless you start chasing her. However, before that time, she was Johnny on the spot with responses. I then began chasing her for the design implements on my Murphy Bed, and to make an appointment to do my touch up work. That's when the responses to texts waned, excuses started, as well as a no show. After giving her a chance to make this right for the first 2 weeks in November, and after no attempt at communication was made by her, once I returned from vacation on 11/18/23, I demanded a refund. Now, here we are on 12/21/23, and I am still out of my $930.00. I now realize that this is all part of the scam, so she can go on to the next unsuspecting victim. I have contacted and filed a complaint with the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board, and I will also be filing a civil suit against Golden Touch Carpentry soon. To make matters even worse, I gave him (Henry) another chance per his request to refund me by his company check, because he was too incompetent to use Zelle, and as I guessed, the check BOUNCED!! Since the check was for $930.00, he is now guilty of a 3Rd Degree Felony according to FSS 832.05. Regardless if Henry was directly or indirectly involved, he communicates with me and Lucy all the time, and he wrote me a refund check, so now he is directly involved. Until the time I receive my refund, I will be posting this review all over social media, and I will also be reporting this experience with the Better Business Bureau, 8 On Your Side, (AKA Better Call Behnken), as well as with 10 Tampa Bay; I will be reporting the check fraud to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Hopefully, this will save anyone else from falling victim to the same scam I did.

Overall, very good, with one minor hiccup…read more We purchased a new home knowing that it needed a roof replacement. We really respected the man who inspected our home, and he sees a lot of roofs, and he recommended A Manos Roofing. We called the owner, and he sent a crew out to do an estimate. Once we closed on the home, we called him right back, and he got his guys on it. He was responsive, and his crews came on time. The roof took a few days, and active rain in the area did slow them down, so that was fine. However, when we came home on the first day, we saw that there was some damage that occurred when they threw old shingles off the roof. There were scratches on the freshly painted house and on the brand new air conditioning unit. I do get angry easily, so I called up the owner angry, and he responded angrily. So, that took off one star. However, even though he yelled back at me on the phone, he did have his area supervisor, Tim, call me back. Tim was amazing and saved the contract for them. He came to my house promptly and addressed the issue. He calmed me down. He made it clear that "I want to do whatever I need to do to make you a satisfied customer." He meant it. Although I wasn't impressed with how the owner responded to me, Tim knows how to manage customers, set expectations, and recover the relationship when something goes wrong. When it rained, we found a spot where they had neglected to caulk, and Tim came within an hour and fixed it himself. We were having a stove delivered on a Saturday, and again, Tim came out within an hour and moved their trailer out of the way so that the delivery people could get in. Our inspector is going to come back and inspect the new roof so that we can get the wind protection discount on our homeowner's insurance. And I will amend this review if he finds any problem. In the meanwhile, I can honestly say this company, through their guy Tim, provides excellent customer service and is remarkably responsive.

I spend my days hiring subcontractors all over America to do maintenance work on retail clothing stores and I have NEVER seen an insurance company charge for a copy of an insurance certificate. Before we called Gulf Coast Plumbing, a leak detection company had told us the leak was under our guest bathroom floor. John dug a hole in the tile to get to it, only to find dry ground and no leak there. Once another leak detection company tracked the actual leak to an outside hose bib, we called Gulf Coast back to fill the hole with concrete and prep it for new tile, and they got right on it. Both visits they showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and left the work area spotless when they finished. That kind of consistency matters, especially on a job that took two visits through no fault of their own. I'd highly recommend Tim and John and Gulf Coast Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work done right.
