The organizer I worked with was very helpful and very efficient (also pleasant!) , Anne then came back and made the heavy bags of things designated to be donated "disappear" and delivered them to the appropriate charities - solving yet another problem. As a senior citizen, I find those tasks which would have been easier for me when I was younger more challenging. After 44 years of accumulating a variety of clothing in Boston, I needed to downsize. The idea of sorting and organizing 18 full bags of clothing by myself was daunting. Lead organizer Gloria met me and helped me go through those bags in record time (2 hours). I wouldn't have believed it possible. She was professional and compassionate. I ended up keeping two bags of clothing and she took away the rest in her car and arranged for them to be properly donated. Organizing Boston also sent me a receipt for the bags of items that I had donated. Professional efficiency combined with compassion was my experience in working with every aspect of Organizing Boston. What I thought would be a nightmare Gloria told me was fun for her. When I did a first walk through, things looked good, but after taking a closer look, I was disappointed. The grout was still dirty in the shower, the fridge and oven had not been cleaned, nor was the kitchen hood. I found cobwebs still all over the house and the high window sills still had dust. Only the windows on the front entry seem to have been cleaned. Maybe there was a miscommunication on what we wanted to be cleaned, but definitely a bit bummed out with the level of clean for the cost of service.
