Maureen had her hands full when she came to my apartment. It needed serious setting up, furnishing, culling of what I moved in with and getting its tenant (me) on the right path. She is smart, quick and really understands people and the challenges they have organizing their possessions and lives. Every day I see how I benefit from her work - on the apartment and me! I will continue to work with her. read more

I didn't just gain an organized home, I gained an education. I learned how to organize better on my own, and keep our place that way. During the time we worked together, I didn't feel pressured to throw too much away, but empowered to let things go knowing that they will be useful to someone somewhere else, recycled, or that I simply didn't need all of the things--in other words, there is freedom in letting go. I highly recommend working with Maureen, The Organizing Diva! P.S. I've been on Yelp for 16? Years... this is my first review. read more

If I could give a million stars I would! Maureen is everything you need and want in an organizer. She is kinpd, nonjudgmental and a joy to work with. She came into my mess of a room and saw immediately what needed to be done. She got to work and was literally on her hands and knees cleaning my closet floor with a cloth (after organizing and helping me get my closet into shape)She is quick and efficient and provides you with tools and advice as to how to keep things up when she leaves. She looked at my bedroom and immediately suggested getting rid of the couch that was basically a clothes holder and replacing it with a dresser. This was life changing... for the first time I in my life I am able to follow an organization system and keep my room neat. In addition she takes the stuff you want to donate and the trash away for you!!!!! Best thing I did for myself in 2025 was to hire Maureen!!!!!!!! read more

Worked with Maureen to declutter/pack my basement (where I'd been throwing things for 10+ years) in preparation for a downsizing move. She replied to my inquiry same day and I immediately felt at ease. She was strategic and easy to work with. She took my donations away in her trunk at no extra charge. She is knowledgeable about how to recycle fabrics, donate furniture, etc and is passionate about reducing waste in landfills. Maureen made a stressful summer easier. read more

I have been in my house for 17 years. It's a small place and storage is a problem. Over the years I just kept moving my stuff from one room to another and not making any real progress in decluttering. I realized I need help and hired Maureen. She was punctual, and in two different afternoons we tackled most of my house (I did one room on my own). She kept me focused, was respectful of any emotional attachment I had to a few items, while giving me practical suggestions on what to keep and what to discard. She also gave me suggestions on how to store items so I can easily access things I use the most. My house has never been more organized! Maureen is also really friendly and easy to work with. I can't recommend her enough! read more

I debated for several years before contacting Maureen. This was a worthwhile investment. She does not judge you during the process which was important to me. I researched many professionals and her fee is very reasonable considering her years of experience. We would use her services again. read more

My wife and I have worked with Maureen The Organizing Diva several times. Each time we were impressed with how efficiency, insightful, fun our organizing sessions were. In one instance we had just finished a large home renovation project (one where we revamped the kitchen, changes bedrooms, moved walls, etc.) and wanted some guidance on how best to utilize our new spaces. Maureen diligently reviewed our new layout and walked us through some options of how best to use the space. She then helped us arrange our items and also gave us some tips on drawer/shelf organizing boxes as a finishing touch. Another time we had movers scheduled to bring a truck-load of belongings from storage (several rooms of items). Maureen and her team met with us beforehand to strategize what should go where (color-coding, labels, recommended storage racks & containers, etc.). After the movers were done Maureen and her team moved-in and unpacked and efficiently organized all of our items. Due to my career I have moved around the county several times (full corporate moves) and used different companies for unpacking, etc. None compare to the thoughtful and tailored results Maureen brings. You won't be disappointed with Maureen!!! read more

Maureen is an absolute life saver. My folks have lived in the same home for nearly 30 years and had overgrown their space. She helped us go thru almost every room of their home and right size each room, which was absolutely exploding at every seam. We will continue to work with Maureen for routine maintenance, small projects and a couple other large projects we have to do at the house. And I can't wait!! She is an absolute gem... and now that we've found her, she's a part of our family support structure... and my organizing BFF. Love you to the moon and back, Maureen!! Thank you for helping us all breathe a little easier again! read more

Maureen's presence and guidance took me from quagmire to ease. My home was a wreck after an apartment building fire left my place doused and soggy from the sprinkler system - piles and piles and my brain in a fog. Maureen cleared the way: she created a calm, grounded vibe that allowed me to just roll with her efficient directions. She broke things down with a mind toward recycling and donating to refugee families to ensure stuff didn't just end up as waste- and also was gentle and decisive when stuff just needed to be dumped. And she moved big boxes with me, hung clothes and motored through until I could see the floor and walls again. Two visits later and I was able to move back into my home. Brilliant brilliant support. read more

I started working with a personal organizer back in 2008 when I was still living in New York full time. Back then, I was very typically case of a person with WAY too much stuff and too little space for it. I have since become less of collection's, but I've still found a lot of value in working with a personal organizer. I first contacted Maureen when I moved to Boston for school. I had a lot of stuff, that wasn't clutter so I knew it needed to go somewhere, but the whole process was overwhelming. I had lived in the same house with the same storage situation for over 20 years, so creating new system was mentally difficult. I scheduled her for three hours (which is her normal minimum but because we finished in two, she didn't charge me for the other hour which was super nice of her! The next time I used her was about two years later when I had to unexpectedly move to the other side of town. It was during my finals and I had to go back to New York a week after moving. I simply didn't have time to go through the whole process. She unpacked and organized my entire house in a day while I was on my laptop studying. She also broke down and got ride of all the moving boxes. If I hadn't hired her, I'd likely still have boxes all over the place. In addition to big projects, I've also used her for smaller things. Because I move back and forth from New York and have a busy schedule, I tend to leave things in bags for a very long time. It got to a point were more of my clothing was in bags than in my closet and I called her to help me organize my bedroom. Sometimes the reason things like this doesn't get done is simply because you either don't want to or don't have the time, and I appreciate that I could call Maureen and have her do it with out judgment. She also offers maintenance organizing services which includes light cleaning. For me that's a really good value because while I have people who come in to clean regularly, your typical house keeper doesn't organize they just put things away "neatly" combining the cleaning and the organizing together just makes my life simpler. I highly recommend her services. Even if you are organized, if you are super busy and things get cluttered because of it, hiring her for a few hours once a month could really make your living situation better. read more

Maureen was amazing. She comes in so organized that she can help you make decisions quickly and sort and place. She unpacked a whole room of boxes and found a place for each item in 3 hours. She cokes prepared, organizes everything so like items are together and then find a logical location. I'm no longer overwhelmed. She helped me decide to toss, sell, give-away, save by asking right questions then how to maximize space. read more

if I could give Maureen 10, out of five stars I would. I found her on Yelp, not wanting to use an organizer I had used before. She was very responsive and got back to me immediately. I have many years of stored items in my home, including mail, clothing, bills, and different objects that I had picked up over the years many quite lovely but I did not need them all. She helped me with what items I would keep what items I would donate and white items were headed straight for the trash. She helped me with home organization, space organization including the kitchen which was a large task in and of itself. She is totally non judgmental and has great advice and resources. She is also excellent in helping my home be organized in a way it will be much easier to keep up. I just love the way it looks! and almost best of all she removes all the donations and trash when she leaves!!!! I just love walking through my condo know. read more

I've employed Maureen on many projects for 10 years. I'm disabled and while I strive for independence, somethings things get beyond me. No matter what it is, Maureen has come in and solved the problem. She is smart, conscientious, extremely hard-working, and honest. A person you can trust 150%. She just helped me complete a second big whole house move in 6 years. When I've been hospitalized unexpectedly, she has come to my home and kept my bookkeeping up-to-date, all the way to prepping the house for my return. I loved my experience working with Maureen. She was very responsive when I initially reached out and was able to accommodate my schedule. She was fun and enthusiastic while helping me organize, and she made it easier for me to purge unnecessary items from my life! There's a reason Maureen has all these wonderful reviews... she's awesome!

Maureen, the Organizing Diva, saved my sanity when, at the age of 80, I decided to move cross country from Boston to Los Angeles to be closer to my adult children and grandchildren. The task was formidable, given it meant going through a lifetime of manuscripts, journals, tchotchkes, art materials, clothing, and books. Not only did she patiently help me examine every piece of my "stuff," she also helped me leave my Boston condo in a tastefully furnished, rentable condition. Together, we determined what to send, what to sell, what to save, what to release, and what to donate. Maureen offered moral support as I navigated through my possessions and the emotions of such an important life decision. Avoiding landfills, she found new homes for so many items, carting off a carload of donations at the end of each of her three-hour sessions that would leave me feeling lighter and more ready to stay on track. As I unpacked the last box this morning while building my new nest, it was clear that I could never have achieved this without her caring and professional help. read more

Maureen, the essential Organizing Diva is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with. Her health knowledge is a huge bonus

You are working with the best with The Organized Diva! I interviewed a few professional organizers before moving forward with Maureen. And I am glad that I did!!! I had a storage closet that was daunting and I had absolutely no idea how to move forward with cleaning it out. Maureen expertly made material recommendations, arrived at my place with a mask and her tote, and before I knew it, I had a storage space that I could access! And by that, I mean I could actually walk into the area again. Something I had not done in years! Next was the kitchen, where Maureen assisted with measuring and relining the cabinets and drawers, creating a system, and I know how a kitchen that is organized! I now have two spaces in my apartment that look fabulous - with almost no time or effort for me! Working with The Organizing Diva was a wonderful experience! She was incredibly professional and very responsive. Superior delivery. First-rate service. I am remarkably pleased! I would highly recommend her services. read more

I have been dreading cleaning out a full attic and garage for years, and knew I'd need a professional to help me sort out what to keep, and how to organize the rest. I wasn't just looking for an extra set of hands, but someone who could make the process enjoyable and not overwhelming. I called Maureen, and we spent about 10 minutes discussing my goals and I immediately knew that she was the right person for the job. She books 3 hour time slots for projects, and I have to say this is the perfect amount of time. She comes prepared with everything you might need to get the job done: scissors, box cutters, a label maker, sharpies, tape etc... I highly recommend preparing with purchasing several clear storage containers ahead of time, and many sizes. I got mine on amazon and the prices there were the best. Having storage bins ready to go, as well as cleaning supplies (non-toxic like Ms Myers, is what she suggests) will make the process much more efficient. Maureen made the process fun, and her life coaching/interpersonal skills were helpful when you have anxiety over items that may be sentimental or may be guilty about purging. There is never any pressure and she is thoughtful and caring in helping you make decisions that are right for you. I am thrilled that she donates functional/usable items to all different charity or thrift locations based on who can use them most. So far we have cleaned out my garage, and my attic and we completed both areas in one 3 hour session each. We are planning our next session to clear out my backyard shed and get my outside deck ready for spring. I can't wait!! THANK YOU MAUREEN!!!! read more

The Organizing Diva is magical. In eight hours, she helped my family do something that would have taken us weeks to do alone. She assisted us in the estate clear-out of our parent's Boston-area house. Her upbeat high energy and fantastic organizing skills kept three adult siblings on-task as we went through a basement, two attics, multiple cupboards, and boxes and boxes of possessions collected literally over more than 100 years. It is so easy to get bogged down during one of these jobs and I highly recommend someone who brings both top-notch ideas and emotional distance to the job. With her background in vintage goods, Maureen also connected us with vendors who were able to help us with some of the more valuable items, but she was also honest about things that simply needed to be donated or thrown away. Hiring the Organizing Diva was the best outsourcing investment I've ever made. read more

I worked with Maureen to tackle our garage which had become a storage area for all the things we couldn't figure out what to do with. In just three hours, we made tremendous headway in sorting and organizing, AND Maureen took away with car full of things to donate. We also had a huge amount of stuff for trash collection that week. Maureen worked alongside me, which made the task easy. Maureen must be part psychologist, as she encourages and cajoles gently to get you to your goal. I will definitely continue to work with her to tackle other cluttered areas of my home. read more

Maureen was amazing! My apartment was a complete wreck when we met. I hadn't lived there for a while and it was basically a storage unit for my whole family. I have a 16 room victorian house. I have been a collector of art, and sentimental 'STUFF". I was determined to get clearer. Not only was Marueen sensitive to some of the stuff that I was attached to, she worked very hard in being sensitive to my need to hold on to stuff. It was painful, but Maureen hung in there, and gently was able to help me pry myself from needless stuff, and gave me permission to hold on to what I wasn't yet ready to let go of. Her kindness, yet, clear understanding to do her job and help me rid myself of the clutter burden was extraordinary. She moved my art around so that it made sense. She spent 3 hours just on sorting 4 drawers of junk, and old nails my husband was attached to. She organized my pantry, my basement, my 3 living rooms, and showed me how to keep my clothes closet clear. My panty drawer is amazing. I no longer put a bra or panties in my drawer without folding it. She made me remove a ton of pillows and now you can see my beautiful couch. Maureen is one of the most generous people I know, and I keep having her return every few weeks to work on another project because there is always more to do in a big house. It is a great investment. There were a lot of other organizers I interviewed, who were 3 times more expensive, and didn't really understand how to approach the tasks or what my needs were. Maureen hit's it straight on. And the lighter I am getting around the house, the lighter I am getting in my waistline. I lost 7 lbs. I have really lightened up. Thanks Maureen. You are the best read more

It is hard to know where to begin describing this talented, motivated, and inventive woman---known to her clients as "The Organizing Diva." In our family we simply shortened her title to the, "OD." She came into our life during a big move, when we were combining two chaotic households into one standard, city condo. I worked with her in 3 hour time blocks for two weeks until our house started to feel a like home. I now find myself enjoying my space for the first time in years--not to mention all the time we are saving because now we can actually find everything we need with such ease. I hope to maintain my house now independently but, I will certainly use the Diva for other projects, moves, or parties (which is another one of her hidden talents). Areas I feel the Diva particularly excels in: 1. Expertise in what to purge, how to purge (in other words best ways to recycle, donate, or sell you unwanted items), and just as important what to repurpose! 2. Making your space fit your lifestyle--she gets to know you, your routines, habits, and problem areas and builds the organizing system around YOUR needs. 3. Authority on ALL storage resources, specialized containers/systems, and best practice for keeping items in top condition (the "OD" recommended multiple products that have streamlined, preserved, & organized our most cluttered spaces). 4. The "OD" is personable, easy to be with, and sensitive to emotional or personal situations--she tries to help you "keep the memories but let go of all the crap" that is my quote but it was inspired by the "OD's" wisdom. 5. Everyday the "OD" came prepared with the necessary tools, equipment, and example products for the jobs we were tackling that day. I never would have guessed that we would have needed random items on hand like: WD-40, stud finder, jumbo zip lock bags (that I didn't know existed), and lots of containers to corral like items together (so simple but works really well). She was always prepared with a plan A and a plan B, C, D and so on). 6. The "OD" knows how to host & throw a rockin' party too! She was able to advise/suggest what entertaining pieces should be kept, what to give away/repurpose, and how/where to store in your home. The "OD" also made fabulous cocktail & meal suggestions! Total unexpected **BONUS** If you are struggling with organization contact the "OD" immediately. Be open and try her suggestions. Trust me, they work. And let's be honest, your system isn't working or your wouldn't be looking for help here. Good luck in life and Diva corralling!! read more
