And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. While not the least expensive quote that I had, they were competitive. I went with them because I wanted it done right and last many years, and I fee that they were able to give me that.

Anchor Fence was recommended by a neighbor for a fence in my backyard…read more TL:DR - nice fence, high quality, good installation. 3 month job turned into a 12 month job, very poor attitude of people on the phone, lots of bait and switch and blamed all delays on "COVID" despite the job being quoted, time estimated, and paid 8 months into the pandemic. October 2020 - had Anchor fence out to provide a quote. Explained that I need the backyard fenced to keep my dog in and so I feel safe with my kids (then 4 and 3) being let outside to play. Got a quote that was lower than the competition. The owner warned me that due to COVID, the materials were on backorder from the factory and would take "12-14 weeks" before installation. No problem - these are troubling times. November 2020 - paid a 50% down payment and provided all the city lot maps and notarized permission for fence from both neighbors. Assuming 12-14 weeks, I would get my fence mid February 2021. Feb-April 2021 - Called five times. Materials still not in. Finally notified them I would ask for a refund on my 50% deposit if I didn't have a fence by the end of June and begin the process with another company. They told me "good luck" getting my deposit back, and bragged they had never lost a small claims court case yet - what a strange flex. Extremely rude on the phone. Was I angry in return? Yes, probably. May-July 2021 - More delays, eventually stopped answering my phone or returning my voice mails. October 2021 - They call me back and inform me that my materials are in, and to expect MISS DIG to come out. Great news! 11 months (47 weeks) after I paid my deposit. Late October 2021 - They come install my fence. Just the side pieces. Not the ~20 foot segments that connect this new fence to my house, and not the gate I had talked about with the owner. A fence that doesn't connect to my house is of zero value in keeping my dog in the yard or protecting my kids. They point out that it's my fault because the diagram was faulty and I selected the wrong option. This is possibly correct, but anyone with an ounce of common sense should have known this fence, as installed, has zero value to me. I have to get an emergency quote - which takes the total price above the competitors' quotes - to have the fence finished. Thankfully, they agree to do it before the snow flies. November 2021 - They come complete the fence. It is a very nice fence, and it has held up well thus far. It looks attractive, and the installation crews (both times) were very nice and polite. Thus the 2 stars instead of 1 star. This job ended up being "100% complete" (as in, I had the fence I asked for when they provided the quote) 1 year and 1 day after I paid my deposit. I missed an entire Spring, Summer, and Fall of being able to let my kids play in the yard and let the dog out without tying her up with a lead. The persons on the phone were threatening and unpleasant at times. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company.

He had many suggestions to make sure that the job met the standards of Trex and Supreme. Unfortunately, my condo board vindictively denied my request. Dan was concerned and supportive. He offered to contact the board and explain the project and compliance to site plans and city ordinances. Since it never was about the ethical use of the by-laws, this was not possible. He handed me off to the restoration crew and they did an excellent job in bringing my deck back to life. Because of the unusual turn of events, Supreme Deck, with Dan as my liaison, was able to wave the no refund on deposits. I was able to use the deposit to pay for the power-washing and staining. They said I should have called multiple times (WHAT?) or given them money. How am I responsible for their lack of followup? They took absolutely ZERO blame or even apologized, whats more, they claimed they didnt get my email even though I sent original + 2 more of the original to them recently. All this to get an extra $2K!! I dont expect to have multiple contacts with someone to tell them theyve got the job. And, Ive dealt with MANY suppliers in last 15 yrs. * So, now, theyve put me in dutch with many. 1 My assn wants this done asap - THEY DONT CARE 2 Other bidders are now booked - THEY DONT CARE 3 I have to take off work again for bidding again?
