Ryan Decker could give lessons in five star customer service!!! Of course no one wants mold but when your house has it, and you want to make sure it's gone, I can highly Decker Environmental. Ryan and his team are simply extraordinary. In the process of doing some home upgrades we found what was likely (and turned out to be) asbestos. After a really tough time of trying to wrap my head around the asbestos rules and requirements, I somehow stumbled onto Ryan's number. I'm SO glad I did. I'm the kind of person that needs to know and read up on everything. Nearly drowning in questions about lab reports, procedures, and rule 1403, Ryan was able to walk me through all the numerous details and answer all my many questions before setting up a time for an inspection. He arrived exactly on time and was in and out really efficiently. He even spent more time with me to explain next steps. I appreciate his deep knowledge, consistent communication, and forthrightness about the work required and potential costs of these very complex processes. He has met every deadline to return paperwork back to me and has been a wonderful advisor, clearing the way for abatement and then, finally, to the original planned upgrades! I can't say enough about how much confidence he's provided me to move forward with abatement contractors knowing I have all the right reports and documentation lined up. Thank you! read more

Ryan came to my apartment and tested for mold. The landlord refused to pay for it, so we came out of pocket. the cost was a little more than I had expected since I have never had a need for this type of service, it was well worth the expenditure. We thought perhaps the strong smell was coming from the attic, but in fact a TON of mold was found in our air conditioning unit. We never even considered it. After a day or so we had results and an extremely detailed report on what needed to be done. This company doesn't do the tear out (which is a good thing), so they gave us some contacts which we passed along to our property management. Ryan and his company are very professional. I was impressed with his knowledge and willing to explain everything in such detail. Not sure if we are going to move or stay. Depends on the management but, either way very glad they found the mold problem. Thanks D.E! read more

Fast, detailed and very trustworthy! Would highly recommend if you suspect an issues with your older home that may not be visible to the eye! read more

Ryan And Kellie were referred to me and both were fantastic. Understanding my time crunch, they tested and had the results to me the same day....I was so impressed with Ryan and his communication with me as well as being courteous and had my asbestos testing and results back to me same day, I asked that he replace the company that was supposed to do a re-test for mold. His partner, Kellie came to do the test in his place (he was out of town) and she was just as good as he is. Highly highly recommended. I hope I dont need their services again...but if I do....I won't go with anyone else. I had the best so I won't settle for less than Decker Environmental! read more

My husband and I purchased our first home. We paid a company to scrape the popcorn ceilings that contained asbestos throughout the house. It was a big job, that cost a lot of money. So we hired Ryan to run air tests to ensure everything was removed properly. Ryan is an amazing communicator and so very helpful. The contractors finished the job early, so he drove all the way from Santa Monica to Ventura in the evening... the day before he was supposed to come. It was his idea.... he just cared that much to get us our results on time! He let himself in, locked up, followed up with us. He was a life saver because he noticed the vents were not sealed properly for the job. The contractors had to clean out the vents and pay for more testing done by Ryan. Luckily it all passed and we felt safe coming into our new home. We really felt like Ryan had our backs and made something stressful easier on us. We are very thankful to him and his level of professionalism. I highly recommend Ryan and his team, he is a rare find. I wish I could hire him for every project in our home! read more

I had an asbestos problem. It had been disturbed, so I needed to go through a very involved process called a Procedure 5. Ryan took care of everything. He seemed to be more informed than the other companies I checked with and to top it off, his price was lower than the rest. I felt that Ryan was an ally through the whole ordeal. I trust him completely. 5 stars all the way. read more

Ryan and his team are amazingly professional , thorough and great to work with. They did a careful inspection , explained their findings. A standout team that I would recommend without hesitation. On top of it all, they followed up to make sure we were settled in and referred us to some great companies to help us out in moving in. And they were quite reasonable as well and explained the pricing so you knew what to opt for. The report was extremely detailed and turnaround time to get the results was super fast too! read more

Very grateful for Ryan and Decker Environmental. First, Ryan was incredibly responsive and thorough via Yelp messenger over the weekend, which allowed for a Tuesday AM lead sampling appointment. Second, he was on time, efficient, thoughtful, informative, and clearly serious about doing a great job. Finally, once he received his results (only 3 days later), he called immediately to go through the results in great detail. Happily, we don't have the amount of lead that I worried we did, but if I have questions I know I can go back to him because, as he said, "I'm on your team." How nice is that? Great guy, excellent service, highly recommend. read more
