Passion for excellence indeed! Returned calls promptly, very professional detailed quote. Jim &…read morepartner repaired/replaced boards, sanded, patched, and painted our deck. They also sealed our stone patio. You can see this company takes pride in their work. Would recommend without hesitation!

Folks, this is one of those rare businesses where you feel great about the money you spent…read more We moved into a new-to-us home, and the deck was looking tired. On top of that, it had been covered in a solid stain and I wanted to bring back the natural wood grain if possible. I had one contractor come by, and they refused to quote the job, as it would be too large for their crew. The next contractor that came gave me a quote, but it was clear he didn't want to sand and strip the deck, rather preferring to just wash it and put a fresh coat on. I didn't get a good feeling about the attention to detail they would provide. Then Jim from Grand Reflection came out. He's the owner. He's the estimator. He's the lead worker. He explained all of my options and was very honest about the pros and cons to each. He didn't try to sell me the easy solution, but he didn't push the most expensive either. His communication via phone and email was impeccable. He arrived at the times he said he would arrive. If the weather was bad, I got an email or text letting me know it wasn't a good day to work on the deck, and he let me know when he expected to return. Once the contract was signed, nothing changed. His crew of two (he and one other gentleman) came daily. They arrived early and worked late. It was a two week job and he was on site for the full shift each and every day. Jim obviously takes a ton of pride in his craftsmanship. The work itself was tedious and back breaking. No detail was sacrificed. Each board needed sanded. He worked in between the boards with hand tools. Screws and nails needed sunk. He prepped and stained all visible surfaces, and the undersides, and hidden nooks and corners that nobody will ever see! When you care for the areas nobody sees, you are a class act. We are absolutely thrilled with our major deck rehab and restoration and I consider it the pride of our home.

We are absolutely thrilled with how our deck turned out. Everyone involved was nice and helpful! The job site throughout the process was cleaned up every night. The final deck is amazing; great craftmenship, quality materials ,and exactly what we were imagining. We are so excited to enjoy our time outside with our family. If they are busy and not able to get to your deck this year, there is a reason. They are worth the wait!

I have no idea how they are at building decks, but the way I was treated after applying for a job…read morewould make me run. 1. The appointment was made and confirmed to call me at 1.30 , No call. I thought it was the company calling me so I called them. The girl that answered the company phone said, no I have the wrong number. When I explained she then said oh yes, we are to busy to deal with you, that must have been a recruiter. I'll see if I can get her to call you. I also sent an e mail to the recruiter. 10 minutes later she calls. 15 minutes late. 2. She then starts asking me questions that are on my resume. I asked, do you have my resume? she said yes, so I said, did you even look at it. Duh. I doubt she did. Again more questions already answered on resume. 3. Since I started my own deck business and did it all, sales and the construction, for over 40 years, it seems to me it should be clear I can sell decks. 4. It seemed to me she was searching to think of questions to ask me. Then asking questions about something I had just explained. Or asking the same questions in a different way. 5. She asked about my tech skills and I explained I had been building websites since 1999 so I would say 10 out of 10. 6. She then asked if can I design and build excel spreadsheets from scratch. Why would a deck salesman with over 40 years experience need to do that. 7. A few more stupid questions led me to say, "You know what, based on my experience with you I no longer am interested in Klassic anything. Probably dogged a bullet. What is funny, they claim they been in business since 1996, thousands of decks, yet I never heard of them. The Cleveland BBB says they have NO REVIEWS. So I looked them up on the Ohio Business website. Their first company name was Custom Decks Inc. Why change names? Changed the name in 2013. So been doing business as Klassic for 11 years, not 30 years. Read Elle S. review You probably also dogged a bullet. re=posted Cant say if they build nice decks, or not. What I can say is that I contacted them on Thursday May 29. Had to call again next day due to no contact. Nate came out on Friday May 30. Went through the whole ordeal of measuring out the deck and laying it out on graph paper. Said he might have a quote to me by email that night, but more likely Monday June 3rd. Called back on Wednesday June 5th to say I had net yet received a quote via email. Later Nate texted me to say that at this point in the season they are too busy to take on a deck that big. Why didnt he just say that when he came out instead of wasting my time and his for that matter. My guess is they were not interested in doing a wood deck. Not everyone wants plastic decks. Communication is not that great. Leaving people waiting is VERY, VERY DISRESPECTFUL and not a sign of a good business person.
