I ended up getting it for myself and figured I'd find a size medium in another souvenir shop. Well, I did but the same pair of PJ pants was $29.99! So I can confirm the prices at this store is cheaper (at least for PJ pants). I also ended up getting a lighter for my brother in law last minute and all the lighters by the register were just meh. There is a book section, a perfume and lotion section, kids toys, and plentyof NYBG merchandise. You can buy bulbs and seeds inside the shop. The live plant section has winter bushes and holiday arrangements. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've had questions. Most items are priced on the higher side, but there are affordable trinkets if you're looking for souvenirs. This evening they had stations outside of the shop for hot chocolate and cookie decorating. On the other side of the park they have the Holiday Train Show. It's a beautiful time for a visit.

We visited NYBG for the Yayoi Kusama exhibition, and they had a section of the store specifically for Kusama items. They had a great Kusama book collection, along with other limited edition / moderately priced souvenirs. It is very much similar to The Paper Store, but more focused on gifts and clothes. There is also a small section of greeting cards if needed. They have two fitting rooms behind the jewelry area. You will need to grab an associate to let you in. The fitting room I went into was very nicely decorated and had a nice big cushioned bench and large mirror. There were plenty of hooks to hang clothes to try on. There is plenty of room to take in a stroller for the mom's shopping with little ones. The store is spaced very well that I had no issue pushing the stroller around. The prices of the merchandise varies depending what you buy. They have a lot of the big name merch like barefoot dreams, UGG and Pura to name a few. The staff all were very nice and welcoming. They were very attentive to greet each customer and able to tidy up areas where customers shopped to keep the store looking nice. Definitely would come back again since they have some cute stuff. For the grand opening (March 29 & 30, 2025) they have free gift cards for the first 100 customers each day and also provide a breakfast treat from Grace's Marketplace. In addition to the charge per chair, which was a very reasonable charge, there was a $15 charge for one-way delivery depending on location of the party. There is a deposit for the chair rental, which the owner explained was due to people having stolen chairs in the past. When we returned the chairs, the owner gave us the money back and everything was all set.
