I love this place! I was visiting from out of town and visited the College Park location where I was immediately impressed. The store is clean and well-organized. Great selection at fair prices compared to other second-hand shops I've visited. And the staff is just tops! Helpful and extremely kind. Being that I'm not local, the two women working provided me a list of places to check out while in town and because of them I was able to see the more eclectic and hip parts of the city. I had such a good experience at the College Park location I made it a point to also visit their second location. Highly recommend both locations, neither will disappoint! read more

A wardrobe gallery. This place is cool, retro, and punk. Everything on the racks is meticulously curated. I found a lot of great stuff; some where fashion gems, others just simply classic icons. From vintage to alternative, there is at least one item that would hit your soul. Unfortunately, what the store has in swag, the staff misses in customer service skills. It's tough to write this review because I actually like the store. With that being said the customer service was terrible. The staff was not welcoming and didn't seem interested in being of service. I like to support local, small businesses but I don't think I'll be coming back to this store. There are other vintage/resale stores in the area and they manage to deliver the goods and provide excellent customer service. Went into Dechoes yesterday (the one on Colonial) in hopes of finding an elegant hat for the upcoming Hats & Heroes fundraiser, and the two young women in the shop were very helpful. Although they didn't have anything at their store that would fit the bill, they recommended I check out the College Park shop on Edgewater because they recalled seeing some smaller elegant hats there. And sure enough...I found the perfect sequined vintage hat, and only paid $14.99 for it. It's in stellar condition and will definitely be a keeper for life. The shop was clean, well organized, and prices were really reasonable. I'm definitely glad I found Dechoes and will be returning in the not too distant future. Also, they have a frequent buyer type card where you get punches for each purchase of $10 plus a punch if you don't take a plastic bag. Believe the reviews. The atmosphere in here is the worst! Not inviting nor a smiling face. This place has the rudest employees came here to sell a few items and they passed on all. Ok fine, they actually did me a favor. Sold my items to Fashionphile and received top dollar for my Louis Vuitton Bandeau, Ferragamo sandals and Chanel earrings. Bought from them 3 times now! Love how they reuse packaging, wish more places did this! Everything comes packaged beautifully! Shipping is prompt. All items have been as described and in excellent condition. The prices were fair for the condition of the items I bought. Recently they could not find a pair of earrings I purchased, and I received a hand written card from the owner apologizing w/ the refund in cash. This particular package was expedited overnight shipped and I did not pay for this shipping. I also received complimentary lotions. The customer service is great! read more

Poor customer service and very unprofessional. I have traveled to many vintage stores on the east coast and have met a lot of people who really enjoy their work and love exchanging ideas... these people left me a bit speechless... Disappointing experience with the person in the front... felt like I was pulling teeth. Someone was ahead of me so I was told to come back in 45min and that I could leave my 2 bags of garments there. I was surprise to hear it would take that long so naturally I inquired about their buying procedure. I love how some people throw fancy words at you so that you can leave them alone, but I was persistent because I had a genuine interest. The procedure to "Authenticates" a garment is to identify the a serial number on the care label and type it in somewhere online... anyone can do that... I went back and now this 2nd person is standing at the register says I could pick up my bags and that they didn't have a need for any of the items I brought in that day. Didn't even make eye contact, just pointed to the back. I pick up my bags in disbelief... I looked inside and it looked as if someone had just rummage through my stuff, didn't bother folding them back and what's worse, I wasn't present when they were going through it. I wasn't sure what they were looking for but I was there on what I thought was a meeting between 2 professionals. I was seeking information on where to sell my garments as most of them I've gotten at Sample Sales in nyc and are one of a kind items without care labels and serial numbers. But how would they know that if they didn't even bother meeting with me. Normally I am quick to call stuff out but I didn't bother because you could tell they did not care. Dechoes Resale caters to the young and indie, although something can be found for just about everyone who looks. This independently-owned resale boutique is one of three outlets in Orlando. The name of the game here is gently worn vintage and higher-end name brand clothing. It's not unusual to find such varied labels as Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, and Ben Sherman mixed in with vintage clothing from the 70s and 80s (and even earlier). Shirt prices range from about $5 up to $35 for higher end brands. Between the three locations, there is usually a good selection of purses that start at about $15, and jackets can be had starting at around $19. This location was just expanded and remodeled last year. Parking can be tricky- it's either Edgewater Drive or one of the nearby side streets. Overall, Dechoes is a great place to pick up a fashionable, fun outfit at a very affordable price. read more

Have been a big fan of this store for years, but lately their buyers are just terrible. My taste in clothing has not changed, but they are taking less and less, and the buyer's attitude so unpleasant. If you are going to interface with people for a job, you should learn how to smile, say thank you, please, etc.--basic manners. Last time this happened I dismissed it as a one-time occurrence, but I did literally go straight from Dechoes to Avalon and guess what--they purchased half my inventor so I walked with a nice $100 store credit where as Dechoes took nothing. Again, nice stuff we're talking about. Free People, Michael Kors, vintage, Tracy Reese, etc. It's really too bad as I will miss SOME of the staff. read more

Yes, Mike C. of Dechoes, I have no reason to lie. You guys have nice stores, but I am not sure what the buyers are doing as they inspect the soles and heels of shoes. I know the things I had were only the Nine West brand, but still; there was no reason why they should have been broken when I took them home. I was seeking items for MY resale store. If I lived in the area, this is the place I would come to swoon over and buy that special something for my closet. BUT there are no real bargains to be had unless you are looking for slightly discounted high-end designer items. The store is cool and exactly as I'd like my store to be. It is just lovely. Really cool quirky place in College Park with clothing, shoes, purses and accessories that range from off brand to designer all at a cheaper reasonable price. I ended up getting a white house/black market black cocktail dress that was exactly my size for about $20 which i considered a total steal plus you can never have too many black cocktail dresses in my opinion. Most of the purses and clutches were designer and still very pricey considering they were used/ resale items so I think I'll stick to the outlets for those but I could have easily walked out with my arms full of clothing had my husband not been with me :). FYI, although my friend and I came with our guys its not really a place they were interested in at all so they found some comfy chairs and waiting for us to do our thing. I'm a resident of College Park and I love shopping at D'Echoes because the quality of clothing is excellent and priced extremely affordable. The last item I bought there was a White House/Black Market halter dress that looked like new! The staff is also accomodating and don't hover. . . read more

Out of the three Dechoes this is by far the most "snooty" if you will. They have an amazing selection and the staff is delightful at all three locations with their beverages and great tastes in music, however, this Dechoes definitely caters to its College Park crowd with slightly higher prices and higher standards on what to buy and for how much. I love this location when I need to find really trendy or dressy things and was the first Dechoes experience I had so it holds a pretty place in my heart. read more

I was just in the store and was treated very unprofessionally by the girl that checked me out. I spent close to $300 and when I was asking about the difference between the old punch cards and the new offer she yelled at me when explaining that the punch cards were a better offer but I do not usually spend big purchases in the store so I feel that the $10 off was a better deal for me. I ended up leaving the store very upset and it is unlikely that I will be returning after being treated so poorly. I never thought I would be yelled at by a cashier. read more

I've been searching for a consignment shop in Orlando for a few months now, and I finally decided to give the College Park Dechoes location a try. After today's experience, I will never sell my clothes anywhere else! They just recently raised their reimbursement rates, which are running between 35%-60%, depending on whether you choose store credit or cash, and their retail price of the item. They buyers have a good eye and are picky, but that translates to a well-edited shop. Take note: you need to make an appointment if you're planning to sell clothes. read more

Not the most friendly bunch, perhaps when bringing clothes to consign. After calling ahead to get my questions answered so my time wouldn't be wasted, I arrived at 5:30 and was told "walk-ins are done before 5pm. Come back tomorrow." When arriving next day, I was told to bring the clothes in, not where to put such a heavy load and no assistance (you know, like holding a door open...small) 30 minutes later, I'm told they can't use anything it's not vintage/old enough or "labeled". Does labeled mean name brand? And what's the cutoff, price wise, because I had several pricey items, including a $700 blazer? That's not what caused my not-a-friendly-bunch conclusion, however. If that's all that took place, I probably wouldn't have given my opinion publicly...I never have. I came to his conclusion based on the managers response. I voiced my opinion to the her about how it would have been nice to know the type of items that are accepted when I called and asked several questions about the process. That would have saved me time and energy (it's 90 degrees today!). The manager responded with "well do you have any questions NOW" instead of "sorry about that", which is what I would've expected. I thought that was a bit rude and insensitive! read more

Excellent little vintage consignment / resale shop. I was able to find a polo button down shirt for $6 and got a few other items on the cheap as well. There is a large selection of carefully curated clothing and other items, and the staff is relaxed and cool. Dechoes is literally the BEST vintage store of it's kind blending modern contemporary fashion with SICK vintage. Def holds the "whose its and what's its galore" vibe in Orlando if not the entire state of Florida. I am happy to say that the owners are great friends of mine as well business operators. I have been shopping at Dechoes close to 6 years now. I absolutely love and adore this store. Very unique finds. Lots of high end and boutique brands. I especially love the Wine Not Wednesdays held on the first Wednesday of each month. It's a great evening to get together with your girlfriends, have some wine, listen to local music and most importantly SHOP! I have also sold personal items to Dechoes. I've sold a lot to dechoes in the past..but I was disappointed this time. They had me waiting for over an hour after they said it would only take about 30 minutes to look through one box of stuff. Said they would call when done, I never received a call. I walked back to see their progress after I saw two of the employees smoking cigarettes on the side of the building and taking photos of themselves when they were supposed to be looking through my stuff..and they didn't even buy a single thing I brought! and I brought in some rad stuff too! Dechoes offers price/style satisfaction and sheer entertainment from the selection of funk, "wow, I remember those," endless one of a kind shirts, dresses, accessories, plus essential staple items. Many times I've long since passed my size but am engrossed by all the fabulous/weird/sexy/vintage finds. I'm hard on shoes so I frequently buy up good quality athletic (sorry Track Shack) shoes, Deisel fashion walking shoes. Because prices are so good I've expanded my shoe wardrobe. My purchases have been either new or very gently worn. Wine Not Wednesdays is great. Sometimes the food is inedible but then again the cupcakes one time were delectable.
