I chose the North Las Vegas location based on a couple of reviews I read, and it was exactly what I had expected reading the reviews. I arrived at 9:15am and was greeted at the front by two lovely ladies. They made sure I had my information correct before I even checked in. I got my number and within 10 minutes I was at a window. Because of my situation I had to be rerouted to a different person to help me. Within 15 minutes I was back at the window. Both the gentlemen behind the windows were super friendly, pleasant and awesome to deal with. The security guard was helping point people in the right direction and friendly. There wasn't a staff member without a smile on their face. I was out of there within an hour of my arrival. I spent the time and made the farther drive and for me it was worth it!!! I recommend doing your research and get your docs in order before showing up, it was such a smooth process.

I was told that I would have to come back the next day at 7am because that is when they start seeing people and they can cut that off at any time during the day. Mind you, this is while there are at least 10 counselors sitting at their computers, chatting with each other, helping no one. It really sucks that the people in this city have to go to people like this that clearly could care less.

If you have curious tots or clumsy kids, do not let them run ahead! The landscaping is mostly thorny cacti, especially between the library and park, that are just waiting to ruin your weekend.

It just so happened that I needed to be at Harry Reid this evening to see someone off, so three days ago I applied and got an email That my application was received. I never got a message/email on my dashboard indicating approval or disapproval.... Just electronic crickets . So when I got to the airport, my companion checked through precheck as usual, I asked the screener... not only had he never heard of the program , but he said gate passes are issued by the airlines not TSA. Obviously the word didn't get out and perhaps the approval process needs to be done tuned. Of course the chat bot I checked with when I got home was no help either Sigh..... what a disappointment

I would say this is something great living by it. If it was more than 20 min away I would probably find another place to take the doggies. I remember a year ago they did a stargazing event where you can bring your telescope but no idea if they still do that. Parking lot is small. Normally but a problem but when you have beautiful days it'll fill up fast. Also be mindful this is a wild area. I've ran into jack rabbits and coyotes so even though it's super safe I always stay alert.

Don't make the mistake like I do every year and juSt bring your card. There is a gas station (Sinclair) across the street if you need the ATM. The waiting for an attendant to help me with my agent packet didn't take long this year aT all. I probably waitWd around 7 minutes. The process for my marijuana agent card was painless. Each category was $75 each! The guy helping me was so nice, I forgot his name but he was great. It was on Wednesday 01/22/2020 and he wore a red short-sleeved button up!
