Why pay twenty bucks to Amazon for music or movies when lightly used classics can be found strewn among a few hundred Jane Fonda workout tapes with change back from your dollar. Sure it takes time to shift through the crap but Beatles remasters and a Blu-ray Citizen Kane for couch coin is certainly worth the time. Not worth the time is that pair of Calvin Klein jeans. I can totally understand selling in pairs, but 9/10 I don't need a full 6pc set or some random glass wear, and guess what? If I did, I would just buy the three pairs of two. It doesn't make sense to me. Also just as a general observation, 2nd Ave stores have been getting super expensive lately for a chain that operates solely on donations. You mean to tell me a secondhand piece of clothing is $25 when you got it for free? Kindof a rip off. I texted them at 11pm and they texted me right back to reserve that item, and was told they would call me first thing in the morning to purchase and pick up item. Great service. As musicians, my husband and I had performed 3 times a month at the Columbus Flea Market when they had music. This is how we discovered this store on our way to our many gigs in the area. Also, I consider ourselves flea market junkies & thrift store experts in our off-hours. Forgotten Tresures is not your average thrift store. This place is very clean. Don't expect to walk into this store to find old shoes or clothes, or rusty old pots. Forgotten Treasures is much more than that. This is a high end thrift store, NO broken-down furniture here. They constantly have brand new stuff in boxes that they assemble there, from furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, home health supplies, camping items. Also: makeup, kitchen items, toys, and a host of sundries. The furniture items, being already assembled, saves us a lot of hassle and time. This place has so much wonderful bargain new stuff. Through the years we have saved tons of $$$$ here. I ask to speak to the person in charge. When the lady came she said the girl price it wronge and she is not a big business and will not negotiate. She then took it down from the offer up on line and change the price higher. They do not offer grantee. They are very money greed and don't honor what they post on line. Beaware!

I found some good sweaters/ long sleeves and they had some cute knick knacks as well. Unfortunately, I will say, I was put off quite a bit while I was checking out. The owner was checking us (me and my sister) out and when it came to pay, I asked if she took apple pay. she reassured me she did, and so I began doing the face id to tap the card reader thing. However, she then asked if I had cash, which I did not, and then she offered to do apple cash. I did not want to pay apple cash, and so I said I don't have that set up and would like to continue with the apple pay through the card reader. she proceeded to kinda push me on this apple cash, saying she will show me how to set it up and it should already be a thing if I have my card through my phone and that I just need her number to text the payment. honestly, i'm over simplifying how pushy it was. she even walked around from behind counter to try and direct me on my phone as to how to do it. I had to pretty firmly state that I was only going to pay through card and the card reader. I'm in no way an expert on business policies, taxes, or anything of the sort, but to my knowledge apple cash is strictly for peer to peer use, not for commercial payments. It was generally just an odd interaction that forced me to be semi confrontational when I just wanted to pay and leave.
