Debt Reduction Services has really helped me get financially solid again. A business closure left me with numerous credit accounts to pay off. Most were at 19% or higher when I finally called DRS! Creditors play nice when you sign up, but if they smell blood or think you're in trouble, they reduce limits and immediately raise interest rates!! Not one creditor went unpaid; but the total I was paying out to keep accounts current each monthly was $650! And, on the few times I was one or two days past due, those arse-holes added a late payment of $35- $39. Plus, if that late payment charge happened to put you $1-$2 over the credit limit they charged a $35-$39 over limit fee on top of everything! I was being robbed every time I turned around!! So, I called DRS; gave them a list of my credit accounts and balances; and, within minutes I was quoted a monthly I could live with that would pay off those blood sucking creditors in 36 months! The best part? DRS cut my total payments by over $300 a month! They negotiated with my creditors to reduce interest rates, some to as low as 9% and eliminated late and over limit fees and most of the "other annual fees" some wanted to tack on. Now I pay one monthly payment ($300 less than before) and DRS sends everyone an agreed upon payment to payoff the creditor in 36 months. Best decision I ever made. And, inspire of the fact that I can't use any of the credit accounts, my credit report is reflecting all being paid as agreed! DRS is a win win for consumers who get over their head into debt- for any reason. A far better solution than bankruptcy! Wow talk about great customer service!! I worked with a gentleman named Matthew who was outstanding to work with. I am in need of assistance with paying off my debt and Matthew walked me through their program. He explained how it worked and the benefits it would have for me. DRS has made it really easy to consolidate my credit card debt. The lines of credit that concern me most were costing up to $400 a month, and DRS lowered it to $300 while still on track to be paid off in 60 months. I had a great experience with DRS. I was in a really tough spot paying so much in interest for my credit cards. I was only able to pay the minimum amounts so I felt like I was going no where. I called DRS and they were able to negotiate a low interest rate for all of my cards. I gave them one payment a month and they dispersed that money to the credit card companies .. their fee was $59 a month and that was well worth it.
