After working in my Gold mine part time for over 40 years, rolling boulders around and lifting lots of heavy weights, it finally caught up with me in the way of neck and back pains. I thought I could suffer through it but decided I needed help. I started going to Thrive many months ago and was surprised when after my first treatment the pain began to recede. It was amazing how Debra was able listen to my complaints and focus her energies on the areas that needed the most work. I've gone to many massage therapist over the years and in 2016 I decided to find a new one that I could see regularly. My first massage with Debra in May was to treat myself after a very stressful year. I'm 51, healthy, in shape, with no major medical issues or pain and thats what I told Debra. The session was very pleasant and I loved how time wasn't relevant for Debra. Do not be on a time schedule when you book your appointment or you will miss out on something wonderful for yourself. However, it wasn't until I was driving home that I noticed this massage was different than any I've ever experienced. I felt like someone had given me a happy pill. I was like, WOW!! This is awesome. I was on an emotional high for several days. Within a few days I checked my blood pressure and I was amazed. I've been checking my blood pressure regularly for the last 12 years and it normally runs 120's over low 80's, but never below 120/80. This time 117/78. I was very pleasantly surprised. A month later after my second session, again I was on another emotional high and very curious to see what my blood pressure might be, I checked it and I was stunned, 111/73. I've never heard of cranial sacral therapy before, but now I'm sold. Debra is the best! Debra doesn't just give you a massage, she has healing hands that will heal you, even if you don't think you need to be healed.
