She was responsive to emails, helped me decide on a photoshoot location, and was on time for the shoot. Do keep in mind any time difference from where you are if that matters to you. My new mom brain scheduled our shoot past our baby's bedtime and didn't realize it until the week of when her calendar was already full (turned out fine). In real life, Laura was just as warm, friendly and understanding. The shoot was relaxed even with a young, unpredictable baby and I was surprised at how much fun we had. Laura provided us with directions on what to do and made us feel at ease. I wasn't sure how our photos would turn out since it was a hot and very humid September day, but Laura worked her magic and the results were so lovely. There were a variety of poses, closeups, and wider angle shots I didn't even know she was capturing. My husband even commented how much better these were than our wedding photos and I totally agreed. I booked Shelly 2 months prior, signed a contract, and paid in full. The day before pictures, Shelly text me to ask if we could reschedule because her son had a surfing competition. I agreed to move the date to accomadate her. We rebooked for a few days later. She said she would email info on our shoot that day, she never did. I had to text her several times a few days later, and didn't hear back until a few hours before our schedule photoshoot. She told me they had been shooting a wedding since 6am that morning. So she double booked my family session with an all day wedding. I was no longer confident that she or her husband would do an adequate job. She had lost my trust at that point, and she broke the contract, so I asked for a refund. She said she would have to mail it. It's been over a month, and they not only haven't sent me my refund, they will not respond to my text. I am beginning to think this business is a scam.

However, when we received the photos from our session just 24 hours later, we were truly amazed. The images showcased us as the happiest and most beautiful family. Let me set the scene on the real image 2 exhausted parents side eyeing each other and their kids running around in the sand. We've lost complete control of them and are actually trying to control 3 children under the age of 5. They are losing their exhausted minds, while our photographer made miracles happen, capturing the essence of our time on the island. The photographer worked wonders, and it was evident that she dedicated hours to editing our photos. We left the beach that day feeling the onlookers rethinking any thoughts of having children but in contrast, our family appeared in the photos as if we were living our best day on the island, radiating joy and warmth. Going in know it's not cheap. Put it in your budget because it's something that you will have FOREVER. Remember that they are very good at what they do. In my case I checked around and it's just a little less than most but better quality and EXCELLENT customer service. Went in just wanting one family photo and I bought all of them on the thumb drive. The pictures were not taken recently but I still have them and I'm going again to have them taken so I'll update again. The reviews are still good so I wanted to add. Still no buyers remorse. Also, communication from Josh's end leading up to our wedding was almost nonexistent. Josh took multiple days to respond to texts and sometimes never returned them only until we told our wedding coordinator about the lack of communication.
