Their only positive review was a total of three sentences. When I saw the family photo including four children posted on their Yelp profile, I knew they could not be as bad the reviewer claimed. It is a nice cozy and quaint little shop in downtown Martinsville with plenty of extra street parking available. There are located in the same block as Gather Around BBQ and just across the street from Los Reyes. I dropped off two watches needing new batteries and links removed from the bands yesterday after 3pm. They called me this morning to tell me they were ready. Picked up my fixed watches this afternoon and the resizing of the bands fits my weight lost wrists perfectly. Plus with the new batteries, the watches keep the correct time. 100% satisfied!

Maybe the shoes I brought in to be fixed were too far gone to last more than six months after repair. If so, I would have liked them to tell me that before I paid to get them fixed. The other thing I struggle with are the hours. Often the only time I can get here is during my lunch, and they are closed over lunch. I came once after they were supposed to be open again after lunch, and they reopened a half hour late. They are a small business so I'm relatively understanding about it. However, I think I'll probably stick to smaller shoe fixes from now on. Prices are very reasonable compared to what I was used to paying in Indy for shoe repair. Here are their hours: Monday & Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

I only had a few weeks to get this dress fixed and Sew and So's team stepped up to the plate. They managed to calm me down by letting me know they were confident it would be fixed and also in plenty of time. Once they started pinning and tucking it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. Although I felt a bit better I was still worried due to my prior experience. My worries were wasted. They were able to reverse the mistakes made by the previous seamstress And my dress was just as beautiful as it was supposed to be. I am so grateful to Sew and So's for making my entrance at the reception a real Kodak moment with My beautiful dress. Thank you so much Sew and So's for taking such good care of me. They are always so welcoming and friendly, which is nice after having had bad experiences at other tailors in town. The quality of their work is amazing, I've had $300 pants hemmed by them that end up with stitching looking better than they did new. Their turnaround time is also great, especially when considering the countless other orders that they have to complete. Their pricing is truly unbeatable, since I discovered this place I have been back numerous times because of how affordable it is. From someone who is obsessed with fit of clothing, I cannot recommend this place enough. Truly the best tailor I've found in any city that I've lived.
