I pushed my 5 year old to try piano as I wanted him to be familiar with reading music. I told him…read morehe just had to try once and if he didn't like it we didn't have to continue. I signed him up for a Kids n 'Keys trial class and he came out with a big smile on his face and said he loved it. I'm pretty sure he loved it at first because it was a group class and they played games, but after 6 weeks he's able to read a music and practices about 10-15 min a day on his own. For a child that showed zero interest in piano, I'm elated that after a month of Kids n Keys, my child loves the challenge of reading and playing music and actually wants to practice vs me pushing him to practice. Update (a year later): My child is 6 now and graduated from kids and keys and is doing both private piano and guitar lessons. I love this program because they are so flexible and work really hard with parents to accommodate a modern day kid's schedule. We have other activities and sports and my son loves both piano and guitar but we couldn't do both with our schedule. They suggested we alternate instruments for his weekly lesson. I love this as he is able to pursue both instruments and has time to practice in between lessons. This also allows him the time to decide which instrument he really wants to focus on when he's older. Other things I LOVE about this program: 1. Jennifer (the Director): she is extremely organized and on top of all the classes, scheduling and billing. If your child is sick or you have a planned vacation and need to arrange a make up class, just send an email and it will be taken care of without a lot of back and forth. As busy parents, it's nice to deal with a business and person that is on top these details. 2. They have summer a la cart classes. With vacations, summer camps etc no need to worry about missing music class. Bach to Rock at this location will let you customize a schedule in the summer that meets your family's crazy schedule. 3. They track your child's progress online with a private account. I like that I can see what my child covered in class and what he needs to practice online. If you need a make up class and you're regular instructor isn't available, Another instruct can teach the class and look at the just at the online notes. 4. The Showcases B2R always regulars schedules "showcases" and gives your child an opportunity to perform in front of a small group of fellow students, parents and families. Even if my child decides not to pursue music in the future, I think it's a great experience to have the opportunity to stand up on a stage and develop confidence in front of a group.

The cost is a little expensive but it makes my daughter happy so I think that its worth it. You can chose lots of different instruments such as drums, piano, bass, and guitar. This time, my assigned staff person (Quinton) went above and beyond. I went into the bouncy house at the end of the event. It was great fun, and my 4 year old daughter thought I was the coolest mom ever. I didn't think about the fact that my keys were in my pocket... and of course, they fell out. I didn't realize for some time, until I got to my car. I ran back just before Quinton pulled away. He patiently unloaded the bouncy house and searched for my keys. No luck- so he kindly reinflated the bouncy never giving an unkind word/look. Keys recovered from a crevice- yay! I was/am so grateful

Our company held our annual holiday party this year at The Foundry at Puritan Mill (Westside…read moreAtlanta) with live music and entertainment provided by Freeflight Productions. Freeflight is a live dance band that has performed at various events in metro Atlanta and the Southeast for over 20 years. Freeflight is led by Jennifer Ferren, owner and lead vocalist. She also does the MCing (emceeing). At our party, Freeflight was a six-piece band (two vocals, guitar, sax/flute, keyboard, and drums) that played mostly upbeat hits from the 70s to the 2000s. Examples of songs included "Shout" (Isley Brothers, 1959), "Sweet Caroline" (Neil Diamond, 1969), "Brick House" (Commodores, 1977), "Don't Stop Believin'" (Journey, 1981), and "Hey Ya!" (Outkast, 2003). The band did a marvelous job and sounded great. Every song they performed was a virtually flawless cover. I had a blast dancing to the music with my date and fellow coworkers. During some of the more energetic songs (e.g. "Shout"), the male vocalist danced into the crowd and pointed his mic at us to sing along. It was a lot of fun. If you're looking for an awesome band to perform live music at your next event, I recommend Freeflight. You'll have a good time.

When you pay premium prices, you expect great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and some energy--not the opposite. Some can't paint the painting to look like the 'model' painting and aren't helpful with technique. It's a crap shoot based on who you get. They are all nice. I was there 2 days ago, and the experience was fun with my group. Today I am so disappointed. My niece and I were so excited to do the Eiffel Tower painting because we've just been to Paris together, and the silhouettes in the painting look like us. We've been telling everyone we were doing it and have been planning for 3 weeks. At 2:00 today they let me know not enough people signed up and they canceled the class. We are so bummed. Maybe they wouldn't have made a lot of money tonight, but they lost all of our future business. I'm sadly looking for new places to paint.

There are many Rat Pack Tribute Shows around the globe. This review is for the Rat Pack Tribute…read moreShow that is based in metro Atlanta. These guys performed at our company summer party this year at Gate City Brewing Company in Roswell, located about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. They were awesome. The troupe consists of Pat Sallarulo (Frank Sinatra), Mark Phillips (Dean Martin), and David Williams (Sammy Davis Jr.). For our party, only two-thirds of the Rat Pack showed up: Sallarulo (Sinatra) and Phillips (Martin), but that was good enough. There was also a sound/technical guy. The sound guy arrived first. He had everything set up and ready to go for Sallarulo and Phillips when they arrived shortly after our party began. We were set up inside Gate City's private event space which was essentially a giant garage with a bar, open space, and retractable doors. Our party was casino-themed with blackjack, craps, and roulette tables. We also had food catered. The garage doors were closed and the high-ceilinged room had echoey acoustics. The crew brought two high-quality speakers with them and the music was LOUD (loud, but good). Our party was casual, but these guys came dressed all-out in black tie. Sallarulo and Phillips looked and played their parts perfectly. Even when they weren't singing, they seemed to stay in character, especially Sallarulo with his thick New York accent. They were funny and put a smile on people's faces. One of the food catering guys was so into them, he got up and sang along with them. Sallarulo and Phillips sang several classics like "You Make Me Feel So Young" and "My Way," songs Sinatra was known for. I thought their voices sounded great. If you're looking for some classy and fun live entertainment for your next event, I highly recommend this Rat Pack Tribute Show.
