This place is horrible! We had them come in to fix a walk-in…read morefreezer and the service was just horrible. First they sent one guy to inspect the machine, and then when they actually came to service the machine, they sent another technician. That wasted even more time AND MONEY since the second guy would have to inspect and determine his course of action. After they repaired one part of the unit, they determined that the compressor was the problem. So we had just paid about $600 dollars for something that wasn't even the problem. We then had to buy a compressor and pay for that installation. That was another 1500 or so. Maybe more. The compressor was about 1300 and labor was who-knows how much. We asked them to make sure the temperature range could be set for 10-20 degrees F(to decrease energy costs). Oh yeah. keep in mind this all happened in June of 2009. They said that setting the temperature would be NO PROBLEM. It was quick and easy. NOPE It's not mid-March of 2010 and our freezer STILL is not temperature controlled. The unit CONSTANTLY runs and they said that that was normal. Right now, it's running at about -1 degrees when we asked for a range of 10-20 degrees. We've had several return visits and they haven't fixed a single thing. We've paid 2100 so far and they're still asking that we pay them 900 more for the failed return visits. After 2100 dollars, we're left with a walk-in freezer that constantly runs and doesn't keep a solid temperature range. But it's a good thing that it still freezes, right? We come in the store every day worrying that it's going to give in and we'll have to spend at least another 1500 repairing it. In this economy, people need a reliable service that will boost confidence and that is worth the money. Spend some quality time looking around. Maybe this place is good at those simpler jobs and holds up well. For now, I don't suggest using them for freezer repairs. In our experience, they just want your money even when they were telling us that they provide "quality service" and that the important thing to them is that our unit works perfectly.

Plain spoken, respectful and competent. Great admin experience too. With the exception of the person at the scheduling phone, who seems to never be there, I can usually reach someone with questions. And they are helpful. The products they sell are........well.......the products of today. These are not the reliable, affordable, and fixable appliances of the past. I've even had the mighty Bosch fall apart due to cheap plastic parts. Dishwasher flooded my kitchen! Aside: How do I interpret the fact that my new Kitchen Aid Dishwasher COMES WITH a water leak alarm? A thoughtful precaution or an admission of the inevitability of product failure? My Mom's old dishwasher was 15 years old and never leaked! So, we cross our fingers, sigh at the prices, and hope that it won't fail in 2 years. That said, I appreciate having Bill & Rod's additional warranty beyond the basic one from the manufacturer's. My best guess is that it will be worth it. I've given up on the big-box stores for major appliances. Very cheap products, little customer concern, incompetent admin service, and unresponsive technical service. How about you?
