I was on my way to the Narragansett Indian Tribe 351st Annual Meeting and Pow Wow, but since this was on the way, decided to stop by for a quick treat. I would say the name is partially accurate, in that there is not much in the area besides some nurseries and the diner next door. They do have a parking lot and a lot of picnic tables to choose from, some in the shade and others with umbrellas. Most of their ice cream comes from Gifford's, and some are New England Ice Cream and Warwick; I liked this level of transparency. I wanted to try something from Gifford's, but I couldn't say no to the Cinnamon Bun one from New England Ice Cream. My brother chose the Cashew Caramel Truffle from Warwick Ice Cream. We asked for both in a cup with a cone on top. The cutest little girl called out our order when it was ready and handed it to us through the window. The cinnamon one was amazing and tasted exactly like a cinnamon bun; it had cinnamon, the base tasted like the frosting with hints of condensed milk, and it had chunks of dough throughout. The caramel truffle was also very good. It is easy an on and easy off from the main road.

The woman at the window was great, her eyes lit up when I submitted my request for her favorite on a wafer cone. I also got a water bottle and about a minute later the next window town opened and two hands stuck out. One had my bottle of water and the other held a cone of s'mores ice cream. I chose to eat my ice cream in the car with the AC blasting. This is probably the best s'mores ice cream I've ever had. Made by Gifford's, a well known high quality New England ice cream company, the graham cracker ice cream base was so good, big swirls of marshmallow cream and flat chunks of chocolate that didn't get stuck in your teeth. This is why I like asking the workers their favorite, because I wouldn't have chosen this for myself but now that I know it exists I'll be ordering this flavor from now on!

Inside is kind of like a diner converted into an ice cream shop. There is a counter where they serve ice creams and bunch of tables, seats and diner counter as well. When we came there were bunch of kids likely from the neighborhood. They offer hard, soft, dole whip, sundaes, waffle nachos, shakes, float and parfait with bunch of topping options. I tried their waffle cone cup with 1 scoop of strawberry cheese cake and 1 scoop of peanut butter pie hard ice-cream. Hard ice cream was pretty good. Waffle cone cup was a bit stale. Probably will just get sugar cone or ice cream in the cup next time. Service was good and staffs were nice. Keep in mind that it's cash only but there are bunch of signs outside so they make that clear. Overall it's a solid ice cream place. It's conveniently located near where i'm located which makes an easy stop for ice cream if my partner or I wants some ice cream. Only thing is that it was not particularly much different from other typical ice cream place. If you are looking for your standard ice cream and don't mind paying cash this is the place.

This really sets them apart and brings them above other ice cream places in the area. I visited last night as part of a party of three, and although there was a line, it moved quickly and efficiently. We were waited on by a very polite staff member who took our order and we had our ice cream nearly immediately - almost no wait at all! The quantity served here is great - we all ordered smalls, and they were plenty big enough for us. Loved that I could get two different flavors in a small - Canoli and Cookie Dough were both delicious! Trackers also sells candy, fudge, and their own merchandise in their very cute country store setting. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating, and the atmosphere is great for all ages. They also have a selection of ice cream cakes for special occasions. Pricing is just what you would expect. Parking is plentiful. Can't wait to go back again and again this summer!
