They make really great, homemade, fresh sandwiches. Great value for the buck. Please put up a website with your menu.

2027 can't come soon enough. Cranberry Wegmans opens…read more On a business trip, put in a bakery order several days ahead of time. Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

How this Wegmans location has sunken…read more.. Back before they dedicated a significant chunk of store to alcohol, they had a pretty nice tea nook and natural section. It used to be somewhat "fun" to shop here, and the international corner had more variety. Parts of the latter have been gutted and somethings dispersed back into the regular aisles. Everytime you walk by the alcohol section, whatever dutiful lady theu have standing guard of the section, has to eyeball me like surely that's surely where I must be heading. Should not feel the need to mention, but I could not care less about drinking, and even if I did, I wouldn't come here for that. When I was younger and working grocery for peanuts at a mediocre grocery chain that wasn't known for such above average employee benefits and environments than precious Wegmans, our crews had good attitudes while still being human. Somehow, the employees at Wegmans have a general blend of apathy, misery, and barely tolerance. I remember one instance I had to go in there soon after a family tragedy, two days without sleep, stress, through the roof and a chronic medical condition dragging me down worse than usual, and I still did my best to be pleasant and polite to a cashier who was literally talking to me like she hated my guts, like I had just wronged her entire family for years, while moving my items like it took every fiber of her being to not slam each one down in the bag. No idea what that was about, as the people in front of me got no such treatment. It's not as if i was wearing my own feelings in my sleeve. I would've been let go on the spot for displaying a fraction of the attitude while I was making a fraction of their wage, this young woman was flat out being abusive. I've never even seen a teenager act out in such a way to a complete stranger. It was so bizarre. We used to have such pleasant interactions with the employees here, and we'd even sometimes plan our hour away trips to thr area around coming to this store. Now it's tacked when it's absolutely neccesary, and we see it as a chore to even run in for a couple things, a mild dread usually reserved for Walmart. The level of the self importance vibe of the people who still shop here who act like they're in some high end metropolis in a hurry and everyone else is just cattle in their way is so thick. The thing is, it doesn't even make sense. Wegmans (at least this location) has very few things that make it exclusive anymore. It is reduced to a status symbol store in so many ways, without the goods and services to back it up. Because they still have people playing chef for Safeway deli / mall caliber food? Get me out of here.

There are many items that you can't get at other grocery stores in the area, which makes this a must stop if you like to cook. I always get the old fashioned hoagie and I think it's the best hoagie that I've ever had and I've been around.

I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Stopped at my parents on the way home to share my bounty ... it was childlike wonder as I opened the 3 coolers and we oohed and aahed ... priceless.

Weis, "Where Freshness Matters", except at the Mifflintown location. Being the only grocery store…read morein town, there is no pressure/competition to create a store that promotes freshness, competitive pricing, and an overall positive shopping experience. Guaranteed that every time I visit I will find expired items in multiple parts of the store, so much that it is almost a game to see who can find the most expired items. It becomes frustrating when I forget to check everything and get home and see that items are not in date causing a trip to return. Once there was a moldy pre-packaged pizza crust, which I removed from the shelf and just set it onto of a display in a very visible location. Two days later it was still there. When I brought it to the attention of the management, the response was, "that is our distributers responsibility." I guess store pride is not important. While most cashiers are friendly enough, the overall attitude of store employees/management appears to be, "You can shop somewhere else if you are not happy." Responses to questions/concerns are received in form-letter replys. I could probably look past several of these concerns if the prices were low, but since there is no competition, this Weis is actually more expensive than the nicer Wegmans store in the city. Even though there is the potential to be a customer friendly community store resembling of years past, this Weis has chosen to capitalize on the monopoly it has in the area.

There are many things worth noting about this store that are good. But, they are trumped by the…read morestore and the store's workers' and customers' lack concern for each other, their community, and shoppers, and their respect for government or science. There was marginal mask wearing by the employees, about 50%, and about 25% by the customers. Both groups are thus inconsiderate, to themselves and to their customers, and to the related area. Mask wearing is a super easy way to reduce the spread and help us get back to work and play. It saddens me that in this somewhat christian area, known for its churches (many Mennonites work there, and Mennonites and Amish shop there, you can recognize them by their clothing and lack of mask), that they are not being kind, Christian, nor sensible. What would Jesus do? He would wear a bleeding mask. I did speak with the manager who noted that workers had been reprimanded. But within sight of us were two workers not wearing their mask close to correctly! One if left to ask, do they believe in food hygiene even, then? do they believe in food safety? If they won't follow some of the most necessary and visible public safety rules, what do they do when we are not looking? Do they "believe" in cold chain? Do they believe in the pathogen theory of disease? I guess I'll go back post pandemic, but I did lose a little faith in humanity in that the manager (the manager!) felt powerless to enforce public safety on her own employees. I cut my visit short, reported them to the PA Department of Health, and wrote this review. I will also have to be less sympathetic to groups of folks that do not support public health. I left sadly disappointed.
