I found out about Deans Auto Body from my colleague. I got my taillight fixed and they matched the color perfectly . They did a great job with everything. Everyone was so nice and friendly. read more

Dean and his staff were always professional, kind, helpful, respectful, accommodating, and supportive of my needs. I left extremely happy and satisfied with their work, but more impressed on how they went above and beyond. As a woman, you are at the mercy of mechanics/autoshops, but I always felt they were reliable and I was in good hands! My bumper needed replacing and now it looks brand new. They matched the color perfectly. I highly recommend this auto shop!! read more

Not a good thing going to an auto body shop due to having a fender but eve eh tone at Dean's, starting with Dean, himself, made the whole experience the best it can be. Greeted by Dean who showed concern was the start of the day. Jose, the right hand guy, like Dean was friendly and compassionate giving out his private number saying to call whenever I wanted. The work on the car was outstanding. Had to have the front bumper replaced and you can not tell that it wasn't the original. Here is a recommendation from me. I brought a friends car in for a minor job that they quickly went above and beyond. Also, Vivian in the office and Harold also stood out for their knowledge, friendliness and kindness. Definitely highly recommended. read more

I had an incredible experience here at Dean's Expert Auto Body. Huge thank you to Herald who helped me out the whole way through! These guys are quick, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with. As someone who lives in the neighborhood and values local relationships, I'm taking my truck to Dean's from here on out. 10/10 for service, price and satisfaction. Work done: -Replace weather stripping entire cab -Torsion lift on front end -Install new exhaust system read more

Great customer service :) They finished fixing my badly damaged car in only one week just like they promised . They even fixed the old scratches on my car for no charge . I am impressed by their commitment to going extra mile to satisfy the customer . Harold Vargas is very professional . He always text me back and answered my phone calls while my car was in the shop . I am highly recommending Dean's Auto Body :) read more

Everyone was very kind and they did a great job with my car. Went through geico and it was a seamless process. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I took my car to the Dean's auto body and the second time I had a great experience. The team works seamlessly with Geico insurance and teams up with replacement car rental. They have done a great job both times as far as communication, workmanship and timeliness is concerned and I definitely recommend this place. read more

Just picked up my car from Dean's Auto and they did an amazing job. Special shoutout to Jose. Jose had superb communication and was incredibly understanding of my situation with the car. He was professional and punctual with his repair time. I would take my car here again. read more

During the pandemic and our car lease was up and wouldn't some so-and-so back in to the back wheel well, scrape the boot, and flee. We were on a time crunch, and Dean's is the closest GEICo-affiliated repair shop. I don't care that they're near us, I would drive across the country to take my car to this establishment. They were kind and accommodating, they were welcoming and put us at ease from the first second we arrived. They went above and beyond, they went out of their way, to not only accommodate our time restrictions, but also to treat us like family. They use 21st century communication features, like interactive texting, like calls, like throwing you a map pin so you can find them, like emails, like walking you through every step of the process, like hooking you up with the Enterprise car rental around the corner. The best? when we picked it up? They had detailed the car for us, cleaned it brand-spanking new inside and out and it was hard not to sob with relief and gratitude that these kind men had gone out of their way to treat us like family. read more

My car had a bullet hole and I took it to Dean's on 12/22/2022 because it is a GEICO express shop. According to the shop, my part hasn't been shipped to them to this day 3/7/2023. I'm not upset about the backordered part, but the lack of communication from the shop. I haven't spoken to anyone since 2/3/2023 and that's because I called them to find out the status of the part and was told by Jose that when the part comes in THEY will notify me. Basically, " don't call us, we'll call you". I texted today and was told to call the shop and speak to Jose or Dave. Called and voicemail annswers and can't even leave a message because the mailbox is full. read more

Dean, the owner, seems like a good guy but his workers leave a lot to be desired. Good luck getting a return phone call after they've assured you they'd call you back. Jose has the IQ of a turtle; one of the dumbest people I've ever encountered. AND what kind of auto body place winds up scratching your car!??!? They did the body work I brought it in for but wound up scratching other areas and of course, denied they had anything to do with it. read more

Came here twice to fix two different cars, and they fixed them quickly, professionals all the way. It was nice knowing my car was in great care, the only body shop I trust. read more

Came in after an accident referred by Geico. Staff was nice and kept reassuring that "100% satisfaction guarantee!". Got my car back with how much they billed Geico, not only was it over priced, they didn't paint all the way! The little scratches that was left over was buffed out and you can still see the scratches! They promised to look into all the problems I had with the car and nothing was looked at except the scratches. And every time I get my car fixed with prior mechanics would wash the car fully but this place doesn't even wash the car. I called in that I wasn't satisfied, the Saturday manager on the phone told me he will call me back and never called me back. He told me that he will send a review via email and heard that I was not happy with their work so they never sent me the review. Don't go to this place. They are all talk and no action. Go to twins collision in stead. They have better execution and follow through. read more

Won't find better service anywhere. After dropping off my car, I was offered a ride to the nearest public transportation. Dean and Nick were quick and very easy to deal with. Service was very comprehensive. They dealt directly with my insurance and I never had to do anything. Despite being extremely busy, they kept in touch about the status of my repair and it was completed exactly when they said it would be. To top it off upon pick-up the car was not only fixed like new, it was completely washed and cleaned, exterior and interior, better than any carwash I have ever brought it to. All staff were very friendly, upfront and honest. Would recommend to anyone needing work. read more

You guys are the best! Professional, reliable, and attentive to details from beginning to end. Great time work! Shout out to representative Viviane whose skills, knowledge, and great attitude, made the entire process a worry-free one, and a breeze. Thank you Dean's and keep up the good work! read more

Dean's was great. Everyone was very friendly and made the process extremely simple. Even if these guys didn't work with my insurance, I'd come back! read more

My car was hit while parked, I contacted Geico and they gave me a few different shops in Queens. Once they mentioned Dean's I said that's the shop for me! I'm an Astoria Boy, I know the shop very well, I heard great things about the crew and the work from several car guys! Dean came out with the appropriate mask and greeted me himself. Kept me updated, with phone calls, always the PRO! A pleasure to deal with, with fast & reliable service! My car looks brand new again! Thank you, Dean and the rest of your crew! read more

Excellent work. I only had my car about one month when it was sideswiped; as a result, my front bumper and driver door were in need of repair. Dean's did an outstanding job; my car looks brand new. They also took the time to clean my car. The woman who helped me (pretty lady with black hair-forgot her name) was very friendly and took time to meticulously explain the process and time frame. I had my car back in less than one week. Dean, the owner, was also very friendly and professional. In sum, I highly recommend this long-time family owned local business. A+ read more

Service oriented, personalable and quick.... They washed and waxed yhe car before returning it to me. Class A

My car was hit pretty bad in a hit and run. I brought my car to Dean's and the service I received was incredible. Nick explained everything to me thoroughly, answered any questions I had, and constantly kept me updated with the progress of the work being done on my car. I was overjoyed when I picked up my car, it looked brand new! The staff is so friendly and helpful and they did a great job on my car! Thank you, thank you! Highly recommend! read more

THE BEST SERVICE EVER!!! The only downside is that they are super busy, but they are trying their best to serve everyone as quickly as humanly possible. Love, love, love this place! read more

From start to finish this was a great experience. After my parked car was hit by a drunk driver, I called the Geico, they had a list of recommended repair shops, Dean's was one of them. My gut told me to first call my trusted mechanic for many years and say "Who is your body work guy?" He said Dean's. At that point I needed to look no further. Making the appt at Dean's was quick and simple. Upon arriving at the appointed time, Jose was there to greet me and had me go in to the office to speak with Vivian who went over all the details of what would happen. Jose finished everything up and even offered to have his guys drive us home since we were going to walk home. From this experience we were both pleased with the level of professionalism of this place. They were honest, straightforward and very communicative as to what would happen. From there, we were given updates to the progress, we were given an estimate of the work to be done and they began. I called a few days before the estimate date and asked if everything would be ready. They said another day and it will be ready. What I saw when I picked up the car was life changing. The car was brand new. When I brought it in, it was severely damaged in the back; bumper, glass, lights, lift hood, etc everything was crumbled. What I got back was a pristine brand new car (still the old car - you would just never know). Everything was replaced new, and painted to match. I swear it looks like they painted the whole car -even old dings and dents in other places look gone. If that was not enough - they cleaned the entire inside of the car! It was as if I just came out of the dealer the first day. Not a spot of dust in any crevice. I was not expecting this. If you have to take your car to an auto body - this is the place to go. I was not in a hurry for the car, so I can't speak about how long they take - but man is it worth it in the end. I would go here for any body work in the future. They are pros here and really work well with the customers to make them feel at ease at an uneasy time. read more

This is the last place you ever want to see for your car but when my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee needed some serious body work done, I called the Manhattan Jeep dealership and they highly recommended Dean's Expert Auto body. Not sure what to expect, I arrived at their location and immediately was blown away at how friendly and forthcoming they were. Not only did the owner Dean himself provide me with an instant quote that was extremely fair and competitive, but they also said they'd take care of some other dings in the process free of charge since they were close to the affected area. They then even gave me a ride to the nearest subway station since I decided to leave my car with them. Fast forward to a week later: I couldn't believe my eyes! The car looked better than it when I first purchased it new at the dealership! The repair that involved a lot of color blending to match the original color was flawless. That nasty little eyesore of a ding: completely gone. Bottom line: no matter how severe your damage. This is the place to go and it come as no surprise that they are the official recommended Auto Body shop for Jeep, Range Rover and Maseratti in the Manhattan area. I can highly recommend this place. read more

The short answer: If you need auto body work and are lucky enough to live near Deans - don't think twice GO THERE! The long answer: After decades of driving I had my first accident that required auto body work - the other driver admitted full blame - but I was at a total loss as how to proceed. First, I was so impressed with Geico's claim service. While waiting for the police to arrive to fill out the accident report (1 1/2 hours) my wife was filling out the claim forms on line as well as talking with a Geico rep. We were so pleasantly surprised by how smooth the whole process was and how they were patient with us during a somewhat trying time. The next day we had to choose where to have the car fixed. As my wife was on the phone with Geico, the rep read off the names of Geico affiliated repair places. While my wife's repeating the names I was looking them up on line. When I check on Deans, it was glowing reviews - ok, guess it's Deans? This turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made as a consumer in my entire life! I brought the car in at the time Geico set up, was warmly greeted by Dean and his dad (the founder of the company) and assured I would not be allowed to leave until I was smiling and 100% satisfied. I have to admit, that grumpy old man in me thought, "Yeah right!" but it was true. The car was ready when promised and damned if it didn't look brand new. Obviously detailed to boot! I could go on and on (as I have to family, friends and neighbors) but you get the idea. Oh, and just to make things absolutely seamless, when I first brought the car in and was talking with Dean, he had already contacted Enterprise Car Rental of Woodside so towards the end of our interaction the Enterprise rep showed up to drive me to the nearby car rental place to get my loaner car. From the time I arrived at Deans to the time I drove out of Enterprise in my loaner was barely a half hour - now that is service! While being hit by another car is not an experience I wish to repeat, I truly feel I hit an 'Accident Trifecta' by being serviced by Geico, Enterprise of Woodside and most of all Dean's Expert Auto Body. read more

Nick was my contact and he was great. My 2016 Maxima was hit about two or three years ago while it was parked. The bumper, and the back rear panel was damaged. Geico recommended Deans as one of their affiliated shops. There is a Geico rep on site. Took my car in Monday, was promised it back by Thursday and it was done on time. Even told them if they needed a couple more days I could wait. Nope, I was told they promised it on Thursday and it was done by Thursday. I've had my car for 5 years now and no one can tell there was any damage. I recommend Dean's to everyone! read more

The best experience! Dean and his team are warm, honest and efficient! My car was returned to me in flawless condition. I highly recommend and plan to use them again for my second vehicle. If I could include an additional five stars I would. Thank you! read more

A taxi side swiped my front bumper and took off the left half. That was in a Friday night. Saturday morning after zip typing the bumper we called Bill and asked for a quote to fix the bumper. He said to come in and he will check it out. Less than an hour later we're here and he told us to pull into the garage. He had 2 guys working on the car in a matter of minutes. Took off all the yellow paint from the taxi, polished the bumper and reattached the light as well. Honestly we are so grateful to have found out about this body shop and will honestly never want to go anywhere else. Thank you so much you guys, we will definitely be back!!! read more

I'm not recommend for repair your car. I got my car delay and also a lot of problems after they repair it. I have to change everything after they do it even part. When I got my car back every signal show on my car broad and I get heat almost burn on my car so I go to check at paragon Honda. They said everything it broke and I have to change everything again. I already repair from this location but they make my car broke everything. I have to change electrical car and pay more money again because they do it so bad and make me mad. read more

I habe very good experience at Dean' Expert Auto Body. Great Job and excellent Service. Thank you for the service

Had a head on collision on the Grand Central Parkway in what I consider to be my third child, wrx sti. I called Subaru and they had the car towed here. As auto shops go it is not to be judged by its appearance. These guys where flat out the best. When you love your car like a woman loves a pair of shoes you simply can not be in better hands than here. When my insurance adjuster phoned me to begin the claim he stated that he has been in many a body shop but these guys where in the top 1%. Professional, courteous and just downright perfectionists. As I left the shop I was assured that when I saw the car again it would look like brand new. I picked it up yesterday and I was smiling like the day I got it. To wrap this up, sleep tight because if your car is getting repaired here it's positively in the best place and hands possible. Done. read more
