I was seen by Dr. Jackson who said Dr. Su would "probably pop in." I came in for treatment for a neuroma that I've had for 13 years; the standard care is injections of steroid to reduce inflammation. Dr. Su did indeed pop in, and advocated for a series of injections of a homeopathic treatment for the neuroma, before starting injections of steroid. I'd asked about efficacy of the homeopathic treatment; he said 98% see benefit... I wonder how that can be true when the standard treatment, based on my googling, is only about 67% effective. He then told Dr. Jackson that I also have a stress fracture in the same foot. Dr. Jackson used a tuning fork-type device to demonstrate the fracture, but I felt nothing. Dr. Su took took over and tried again, but I still felt nothing. Dr. Su then took my foot and pressed very hard on the spot -- and then I felt it. Since then, it's continued to hurt, and I wonder if he made it worse. As he left the room, Dr. Su said, "Put her in a boot." The boot has made the neuroma pain significantly worse to the point where I'm now not able to walk without excruciating pain. This is far worse than I was when I came in. I don't know what was injected. I don't know if they mixed it themselves. But it hasn't helped. On the Friday after my appointment, I called Dr. Su's office to cancel my upcoming biweekly appointment for another injection, and asked that they send my x rays to a new provider. No one answered the phone; I left a message. I called my new provider right after, at 3:21pm on a Friday, and there was a real person there to help me schedule an appointment. What bothers me even more than the ill-defined injection of stuff that didn't help is the fact that I made an appointment with Dr. Su, but I was seen by Dr. Jackson and then Dr. Su. I wonder if they will be charging me for two doctors' time. My feeling is that Dr. Jackson is a nice guy who needs to find another practice to be part of, and Dr. Su was mostly focused on sales. I was told I had to have a huge pneumatic book for the stress fracture that went all the way up to my knee, and they tried to sell me a cream, and orthotic shoes. I'm not saying they're bad doctors. I'm saying I didn't get my medical needs met. Dr. Su during the appointment asked an assistant about an "insurance check" and was told that I had a $1200 deductible to meet.... He later said I've pretty much met that deductible. With this one visit. I guess that opens the door to unlimited injections. About the injections: Dr. Su said he uses them himself and they've worked for him. That may be true. They may be the most effective treatment out there. But it doesn't appear that there's any evidence of that, except Dr. Su's anecdotal experience. For my money, I'd rather have the standard, researched treatment of steroid injections.

During the procedure, he identified what he described as an additional "flat node" in my ring finger and suggested injecting that as well, which I agreed to. Ten days after the procedure, I experienced what I believed to be a rupture in my ring finger. Dr. Verheyden assessed the symptoms as part of the normal healing process. After three follow-up appointments with the same assessment, I sought an MRI, which revealed complete ruptures of the A2, A3, and A4 pulley tendons in my ring finger, as well as a complete rupture of the A2 pulley in my pinky finger. I subsequently required reconstructive surgery on the A2 pulleys in both fingers, using a graft from my palmaris longus tendon. I had asked to be referred to Dr. Yundt for over a year, but I kept ending up with other PAs and other neurosurgeons, because providers in corporations are unwilling to refer outside their group.All they told me to do was get injections into my spine, which did no good whatsoever. I finally did some foot stamping, and ended up in Dr. Yundt's office. he took one look at my MRI and told me not to worry, that he could help me. I had a laminectomy on L 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5, and when I woke up from anesthesia, for the first time in two years, I could feel my feet, and when it came time to be discharged from this day surgery, I could stand up straight and tall, and walk normally, painlessly. I'm going to be able to ride my horse in another month, and now I can walk normally everywhere; I can hike, I walk my fields, And start living a normal life. Dr. Yundt changed my life, or perhaps I should say that he returned my life to me. I cannot say enough, good about him. He was clear and concise, and very straightforward. This review is long overdue but I feel it's necessary to provide my input on my experience…read more I had ongoing shoulder pain that progressively got worse over time to the point where it was bothering me throughout the day. I searched Yelp and found Gabriel Goldman nearby with stellar reviews. Little did I know Yelp would steer me wrong. I setup an appointment and met up with him a few days later for a consult. He seemed very confident and told me that it would take many sessions and it may be costly but he would resolve my issues. He examined my shoulder and diagnosed me as having a lot of scar tissue in my shoulder from injuries and possible overuse. Now to the appointments.... I saw him a total of 6 or 7 times. Each appointment consisted of electrical stimulation/heat for about 20 minutes followed by about 10 minutes of ultrasound and then another 20 minutes manual therapy/massage. There was also an occasional adjustment during some visits. These are some of the issues I had during my visits: 1) The heat cuffs/blankets do not have any cover on them. Each patient sweats profusely with it and it is not cleaned at all between visits which seems quite unsanitary. 2) I never once saw anybody wipe down or clean the patient tables in the treatment room or the adjacent room. This should be standard practice. Again unsanitary practice. 3) The electrodes on the e-stim machine should be replaced after each patient. The electrodes were just reapplied back onto a plastic sheet and used on the next patient (Gross). 4) The end of the ultrasound device was never sanitized. The gel was just wiped off with a paper towel. The breaking point for me is when the manual therapy/massage left me severely bruised. The bruising was so bad I couldn't use my shoulder normally during times. The entire back side of my shoulder was left with HUGE dark bruises. Family members and my girlfriend were blown away when they saw the extent of the bruising. Gabriel Goldman told me this was normal and part of "breaking down the scar tissue." The tool he used to do a lot of this therapy was "a rock that he found on the beach." What the f....? Some of the normal things I had difficultly doing after these sessions included driving, showering, putting on a shirt, etc. What irked me is that he continued with the same treatment even though there was a lot of bruising and obvious pain and he stated it was ok and part of the process. I was already compensating with wrong muscles when I had my injury and this no doubt added to it, at least in my mind. My friend who is an MD advised me to stop this therapy and get an MRI to rule out anything serious. He told me to get the potential diagnoses/treatment notes from Gabriel Goldman and send it over to him for review. I called Gabriel Goldman and let him know I need my patient notes and potential diagnosis to review with my doctor friend in an upcoming visit. He got defensive and started asking questions. I let him know I was advised to get an MRI to rule out anything serious. His response was "I could have ordered that for you too." Ok...so why didn't you? So I let him know I would be moving on and he agreed to send me my patient notes. 2 days go by and I hear nothing back. I email him and no response. A day later I call and leave a message and no response. I call again and talk to him. I let him know my appointment is tomorrow and he finally emails me my notes. In the email he states: "Referencing my chart and your initial examination my impressions were that you had a subacromial impingement, but in my comments I had differentials of tendonitis/tendonosis and possible even a partial rotator cuff tear." WOW. Why wasn't any of this mentioned to me during my visits or my initial exam? What ever happened to the "scar tissue" diagnosis? So that is my less than stellar experience. The only upside is that his adjustments were nice (as a chiropractor I would hope they would be). But again I doubt the adjustments had anything to do with my treatment protocol, just another charge to tack onto my insurance charges. I wouldn't waste my money with this kind of care. Please choose wisely.

He got me off of crutches, and worked muscles that needed to be activated/engaged again. Physical therapy left me in a great deal of pain and inflammation. I actually stopped going because it would have me down for days afterwards. I switched gears and went with Dr. Goldman to help me recover. With a concrete plan of care, and sticking to it, I am now BOXING three days a week AND personal training! His quality of care is what has me back and better than ever. I actually feel stronger now! And if things get wonky from a workout etc, I swear it just takes me one adjustment, and everything from my lower back, to my neck feels aligned and solid. He has been a life changer for me!!! I will always sing his praises from the rooftops!

People don't go out of their way to leave detailed negative reviews on multiple platforms when things are good. They do it to warn others. Hope y'all can take an honest inventory here with Leslie, she's got some work to do especially considering she's in contact with a sector of the public that's often suffering or in pain and looking for relief. You certainly won't get it from her! In reading more of these reviews i'm learning she's his wife, which may explain why the behavior has not yet been addressed. Wife or not, it's not ok for anyone at any business to behave like this to its customers, especially patients.
