I saw Dr. Su for several visits for a badly displaced broken toe. While he was helpful at first, his clinical guidance changed at each visit, and I was ultimately dismissed when I wanted to pursue surgery. I sense that he is uncomfortable doing surgical procedures. The office experience was also poor. I often waited for 30 minutes before seeing the Dr. and the X-ray tech was extremely rude - she yelled at me after I stood up post-reduction. I've never been treated that way in a medical office before. I'm now getting care from another podiatrist in Bend and advise you do the same read more

I was referred by a friend to Dr Su. I called to make an appointment. I told the person that answered the phone that I was having pain and it was getting worse. She took down all my information including insurance numbers etc and proceeded to give me an appointment time almost 3 weeks out. I commented that was a long way out and she offered one a week sooner. Right before hanging up she informed me that they require a mask be worn there. I told her I am unable to wear a mask but would wear a full face shield. She said they don't allow that. So I canceled. I recently visited someone in the hospital and masks were not required. This place is a scam. They charged $134.13 for a toe brace that I can buy outright for $26.99 shipping included. They want $850 for shoes I can buy for less than $200. They should be ashamed! They load you with a bunch of stuff having no clue if could help you. And it didn't. read more

Run...and take your wallet with you...to another Podiatrist. Dr. Su's only interest is upselling you to boots, splints, orthotics, shots (homemade in his office for goodness sakes), PT "equipment", etc. all trying to be sold to you in that first appointment when you are in pain and vulnerable. You will be scheduled to see the doctor almost weekly so he can charge you that fee over and over again for an office visit and that homemade shot, yet he will never actually refer you to a real Physical Therapist where needed. You will also notice that his equipment (as well as the office) is "old" by many years. Nothing is current. It all looks like it's from the 70's or 80's. Instead of putting money back into updated equipment it is obvious that he pockets it. You will also have to pay MUCH MORE than your co-pay on your first visit so be prepared! read more

Dr. Su is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! 20/10 would recommend anyone to him for any foot problems that you have. I can't believe these negative reviews at all and I agree with Karen's review- maybe they are paid by competitors to leave bad reviews? What I can tell you is that Dr. Su is a top-of-the-line podiatrist and his 34 years of experience says it all. I've found out that I had a sesamoid stress fracture in my left foot from running cross country and track in college. I thought that I had tendonitis and did not receive the proper care I needed to treat my injury until I walked into Dr. Su's office. Just by looking at how I stood and listening to my symptoms, he determined that I had a stress fracture and the x-rays & ultrasound only confirmed that. His level of professional care and thorough explanations to all my questions just blew me away compared to the other podiatrist I went to, who barely looked at my foot for 5 minutes and told me to get an MRI (which was NOT covered by my Cigna insurance and so expensive) in order to start me on a regimen of painkillers. After my experience with this terrible doctor in LA, I was disheartened that I wouldn't be able to run pain-free again until one of my cross country teammates from Bend recommended Dr. Su. It was 110% worth flying out, and after 10 weeks of the boot and lots of calcium supplements, my foot was healed and showed no signs of a stress fracture!! He also gave me injections to stimulate the healing process, orthotics, and Altra shoes to help my foot. Now, months later, I've been cleared for physical therapy and I am easing back into running again! I am SO HAPPY with my results and this wouldn't have been possible without Dr. Su and his incredible team at Cascades Foot Clinic. read more

I am not one to write reviews but I had such a positive experience at Cascade Foot Clinic that I wanted to share. The staff there are very welcoming, I accidentally cancelled my appointment and they were kind enough to fit me in at the end of the day. The only reason they get one star is there is no option for zero. I had an appointment for 1pm today, they called at 9:09 and asked if I could come in at 10:30 I said fine. I drove 30 minutes got there and waited in my car as instructed, knocked on the door 5 minutes b4 my appt. the gal came to the door and asked if I had a mask, I said I didn't so she opened the door a crack and handed me one. I put it on over my nose and mouth but apparently she didn't like it told me to pull it up better I told her if I did then I couldn't see. she started screaming that they tell us people to bring a mask and here I show up without one! Then asks if I had the jab and really goes off saying she didn't know if she could even take me. I told her she was rude and got in my car and drove home... This appt was set up with the VA so I called them when I got home and they were totally appalled and filled a complaint... For the record, No one at any time over the phone told me to make sure I had a mask. I assume if they want you to wear one and you don't have one they will provide you one courteously... Wow, first I have to say I have no idea what the people with poor reviews are talking about! Perhaps they are paid by competitors to give negative comments or are in so much pain they can only be negative. I have found the staff to be wonderful and the offices spotless. Dr. Su is excellent! He is very knowledgeable and explained my injury and the treatment needed throughly. I never feel like he is in a hurry and not listening to my questions. The place is very dirty. Bathroom wasn't clean for months! Cleaning is my business I know wasn't touch at all. Carpet is so dirty like old spots, windows and windows seals wasn't dust for weeks, paper towel dispenser is cover with dust. DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTOR. He is in it just for the money. I waited over an hour in the waiting room. He looked at my foot for five minutes. Didn't tell me what was wrong. He eventaully said physical therapy would help. I then traveled for two months. Once I got back into town I started physical therapy and after only one visit my foot started feeling great. But when the pt faxed over the referral to this doctor he wouldn't sign off on it because it had been two months. He wanted to re-evaluate me and would not sign the referral until I came and saw him again. But that would cost $150 bucks and I already knew physical therapy was working. He did not care pt was working he just wanted me to come back in so he could make more money. It's not like I was asking for prescription pills, I just needed him to sign off on the Physical therapy referral so my insurance would cover it. Again, this guy made it very clear he is only in it for the money and not the patient's well being. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more
