Thank you Randy with all your patience in our financing with my back and fourth changes. Thank you Scott for helping with the purchasing the car protection service. We came in like a tornado and they all jumped in and helped to make sure everything went smooth. I can't be any happier with all the amazing customer service and the new 2025 Pathfinder that we purchased. We will definitely be coming back in the future for vehicles and all our services to come. Thank you Shaun Fox for the recommendations. I wouldn't have made the jump if it wasn't for you!

Updated Review I…read moreoriginally left a positive review for Shane at M'Lady Nissan based on my January 2026 purchase, but I later learned I'd been misled about the Costco Auto Program discount. Shane told me several times he "couldn't find the paperwork," even though no paperwork exists -- the dealership accesses the discount through a portal. He's been there eight years and is the designated Costco contact, so he should have known this. Even his sales manager admitted the Costco deal is their simplest transaction and couldn't explain how this happened. I also learned that many others received the Costco discount here without any issue, which makes the disparate treatment even more troubling -- especially since I'm a returning customer who traveled a long distance. After I filed a complaint, Costco investigated and confirmed I should have received the discount. Only then did the dealership refund me over $1,800. This should never have required an external investigation. I'm updating my review so future customers know to double‑check everything and advocate for themselves.

He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He was not my original salesman so had no obligation to me. My original salesman was also good (not working at this time) but I did not grasp everything at the initial time of taking ownership of the truck and needed a refresher. Matt gets top rating for the time he was willing to spend with me and his way of explaining how to use all the bells and whistles the truck has to offer, Also Larry in after-market sales was in even though it was his day off and was able to help me on a matter related to my wheels. Having purchased my last new car from Pauly I was surprised at how rude and arrogant salesmen have…read morebecome lately. I chalk it up to the current supply crisis in Toyota hybrids. Rather than be empathetic to the difficulty locating new hybrids, salesmen behave like they are doing you a big favor, are demanding and insolent to potential customers. Pauly has been abysmal. The following is what the internet salesman Steve Robbins wrote to me when I was inquiring yet again about stock in hybrids: "Hi Fred / Gray Robert, "Please either setup time to come in and we can talk about all your options. Or stop emailing in diffrent vehicles and we can part friends. It your choice." Thanks Steve Okay, you judge for yourself if this is the way you would like to be treated by a car salesman? BTW, consider the level of grammar and spelling from a representative of a car dealership. If a salesman can not write in complete sentences or spell correctly do you trust them to be professional in helping you to procure a car?

The reason I don't like these types of platforms are because they are full of reviews from people…read morethat just do not seem reasonable. The towing business first of all is likely a very tough business to receive positive reviews. When a vehicle is towed it's likely because of 3 primary scenarios (an accident where the car is not able to be driven, a broken down vehicle, or a vehicle parked in a no parking spot.) Either of the listed scenarios are starting off with unhappy automobile owners so reviews are likely going to be positive. With all that said, I have recently had a car that was in a pretty bad accident...thankfully no one was injured by the grace of God! The Crystal Lake police officer was pretty awesome on her own and we are always thankful to our police! The officer called Ormsby Towing, owned by Tom Ormsby I have come to find out. This company has been in business since 1948! That's 76 years of being in business. They have countless of satisfied customers and reviews...some of these can be found on the following websites: Kelly Blue Book Reviews: https://www.kbb.com/dealers/crystal-lake-il/565567/ormsby-motors/ Google Reviews: https://www.google.com/search?q=ormsby+motors+google+reviews&sca_esv=d3224e15adc24c7c&rlz=1C1RXQR_enUS964US964&sxsrf=ADLYWIIaMKPhzRO7qKgE1J066ijY6pgm2Q%3A1724345334727&ei=9mvHZrWULLS2ptQP3t6aCQ&ved=0ahUKEwi155X5homIAxU0m4kEHV6vJgEQ4dUDCA8&uact=5&oq=ormsby+motors+google+reviews&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiHG9ybXNieSBtb3RvcnMgZ29vZ2xlIHJldmlld3MyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBDIIEAAYgAQYogQyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBEjMFlDrBVjsEnABeACQAQCYAWygAbIFqgEDNy4xuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIIoAKGBcICChAAGLADGNYEGEfCAgoQIxiABBgnGIoFwgIIEAAYogQYiQXCAggQIRigARjDBMICChAhGKABGMMEGAqYAwCIBgGQBgKSBwM3LjGgB4YS&sclient=gws-wiz-serp Okay, so with all these reviews averaging over 4 out of 5 stars, Yelp is for some reason is representing a little over 2 stars. My personal experience has been very favorable. BTW, I should mention, I have no ties or relations to the owner or management, or any employee of Ormsby's. I can tell you this, I was treated kindly by Tom Ormsby and he is fair and patient. He also could have easily charged my by the day that our totalled car was in his storage (locked, fully enclosed building). The car was kept safe and he was very nice to work with. I will absolutely be recommending his services to others I know and care about as well as, perhaps even purchase a car from him in the near future. You don't stay in business in the midwest for 78 years without offering something of value. Lastly, the Ormsby showroom is so clean that you literally could eat off the floor, even though I don't eat off of floors :-) I hope this review adds value to anyone looking for a towing or auto sales company.

YIKES I really never…read morepost reviews, but I feel like I HAVE to so that people know what they're getting into with this shop... Back in August my car got some body damage and was brought to ABRA Auto Body right by this shop. Well, it's alternator also decided to go out on me, so once the body shop fixed the body damage they graciously brought it to Ormsby since it was close (I live 2 hours away from Crystal Lake and was visiting my family when this all happened, so I wasn't nearby). Needless to say we got the alternator replaced and all went well. UNTIL about a month or 2 later when it started having problems again. We assumed the car was having new problems and just didn't have time to bring it to get checked out, so we replaced the battery... and that helped but didn't solve any of our problems. So we then brought it to a shop local to us and guess what? The alternator that this shop put into it was bad... so here we are, having to put another alternator into our car a few months later because Ormsby decided what our car needed was a bad alternator. So keep this in mind if you plan on going here... months down the line you may have to redo what you paid them to do...
