I have left a review on Google Review under Chuck Wisniewski. I tried to respond and it fails at, crystallakefeedback@napleton.autos. I have copies of messages from their sales manager that Agreed to replacing the New Damaged Canyon Denali at an in crease of $39.00 a month. Erick responded with Chuck, I will have to locate one and try to get it here as soon as I can. I will keep you posted. WELL, He took back that agreement. He said it's in Danny Randolph's hands! After 4 emails to him and no conclusion I am writing this to let people know that Even in Writing They Will Back Out Of A Deal and leave you hanging for 44 days and a second payment due in approx 12 days. I've NEVER LEFT A BAD REVIEW OR EVER DID Except One 3 years ago to a company that went out of their way to help me with a problem and I never purchased Anything from them. He was a Great Guy, so this should tell you to the extreme they're trying to push a damaged truck that they say GMC is responsible.

Covid changed more businesses in 2020. We purchased our Enclave here six years ago when it was Courteous Buick. We always brought our Enclave here (except when we were out of town) for oil changes and other services. Courtesy Buick was HONEST and treated their customers very well. This might have been my second oil change this year as Covid had us staying home more than normal and hardly driving our vehicles at all. So of course an oil change was needed before the end of the year. I made an appointment and noticed the name change from Courtesy to Napleton. Came in and noticed all new employees in the service area. Gave them my keys, a coupon, signed the papers and walked to the Customer Waiting Area. At first glance it looked the same. But take a closer looks and you'll notice the cooler filled with complimentary water bottles is now a vending machine. The complimentary coffee machine is now a snack machine. Covid: everyone wears a face mask; absolutely no social distancing. Came here for an oil change and have my tires looked at. Two hours passed and the service guy comes to tell me they found a nail in one of my tires. They could fix it easily for $50. Sure. Who knew that would take another hour? I declined other services as we wanted a second opinion and price quotes elsewhere. So I was there THREE hours total. Ugh! It never took two hours for an oil change anywhere else! We ended up taking our Enclave to another repair shop for half the price for the other services needed. Unfortunately, we may never return to Napleton Buick again.

Beware this dealer...went in to turn in a leased vehicle (not leased from them), wanted to get an appraisal before handing it over. dealer took my keys...checked out the car...porter comes back with my plates and finance manager came back with a lease end paper with him signing as the Lessee AND dealer without having my wife or myself look the info over to make sure it's correct or getting our approval of the turn in of the vehicle. They will forge your signature and not give you the option to even make a decision!

I sent a request for information on a vehicle through GMC's website. Misty called me and I was told the vehicle was available and she asked me if wanted to make an appointment to see it. I made the appointment. I drive out for an hour with my wife and kids. I get there and I tell them which vehicle I wanted to see. The salesman had no idea what I was talking about. He goes and talks to his manager. He comes back 5 minutes later and tells me the vehicle is in transit and it won't be there until the end of July. Needless to say I was furious. Then he tells me the attorney general doesn't allow bait and switch tactics. I'm thinking that's exactly what you just did. We left immediately. Why make an appointment to see a car at f you know it's not there? I even received a text confirming my appointment. I'll never give my business to this place. Go somewhere else.

Volkswagen lost the full $7500 federal tax credit that took effect in January 2025. Due to stricter sourcing requirements for batteries... lithium, cobalt materials. So know what you're talking about before you grandstand and treat customers rudely or you won't have any.

Our visit to this dealership was focused on looking at a preowned Passat. Our son wasn't interested ("committed" to an "Audi RS3," unlike us). Nonetheless, we ventured indoors and were greeted by Daniel Latcu, who asked all the right questions and was never pushy at any time. After a few test drives of pre-owned vehicles, we arrived at the chapter every parent cares about: vehicle history, reliability, safety, comfort, smart economic decision-making. After lots of subtle (and sensible) coaching, we landed on a new 2025 Jetta SE at a price-point that we could not walk away from. Alex Williams (sales manager) is who brought us across the finish line. In sum, good people completely absent of any bait-and-switch tactics.

Rather than be empathetic to the difficulty locating new hybrids, salesmen behave like they are doing you a big favor, are demanding and insolent to potential customers. Pauly has been abysmal. The following is what the internet salesman Steve Robbins wrote to me when I was inquiring yet again about stock in hybrids: "Hi Fred / Gray Robert, "Please either setup time to come in and we can talk about all your options. Or stop emailing in diffrent vehicles and we can part friends. It your choice." Thanks Steve Okay, you judge for yourself if this is the way you would like to be treated by a car salesman? BTW, consider the level of grammar and spelling from a representative of a car dealership. If a salesman can not write in complete sentences or spell correctly do you trust them to be professional in helping you to procure a car?

The reason I don't like these types of platforms are because they are full of reviews from people…read morethat just do not seem reasonable. The towing business first of all is likely a very tough business to receive positive reviews. When a vehicle is towed it's likely because of 3 primary scenarios (an accident where the car is not able to be driven, a broken down vehicle, or a vehicle parked in a no parking spot.) Either of the listed scenarios are starting off with unhappy automobile owners so reviews are likely going to be positive. With all that said, I have recently had a car that was in a pretty bad accident...thankfully no one was injured by the grace of God! The Crystal Lake police officer was pretty awesome on her own and we are always thankful to our police! The officer called Ormsby Towing, owned by Tom Ormsby I have come to find out. This company has been in business since 1948! That's 76 years of being in business. They have countless of satisfied customers and reviews...some of these can be found on the following websites: Kelly Blue Book Reviews: https://www.kbb.com/dealers/crystal-lake-il/565567/ormsby-motors/ Google Reviews: https://www.google.com/search?q=ormsby+motors+google+reviews&sca_esv=d3224e15adc24c7c&rlz=1C1RXQR_enUS964US964&sxsrf=ADLYWIIaMKPhzRO7qKgE1J066ijY6pgm2Q%3A1724345334727&ei=9mvHZrWULLS2ptQP3t6aCQ&ved=0ahUKEwi155X5homIAxU0m4kEHV6vJgEQ4dUDCA8&uact=5&oq=ormsby+motors+google+reviews&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiHG9ybXNieSBtb3RvcnMgZ29vZ2xlIHJldmlld3MyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBDIIEAAYgAQYogQyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBEjMFlDrBVjsEnABeACQAQCYAWygAbIFqgEDNy4xuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIIoAKGBcICChAAGLADGNYEGEfCAgoQIxiABBgnGIoFwgIIEAAYogQYiQXCAggQIRigARjDBMICChAhGKABGMMEGAqYAwCIBgGQBgKSBwM3LjGgB4YS&sclient=gws-wiz-serp Okay, so with all these reviews averaging over 4 out of 5 stars, Yelp is for some reason is representing a little over 2 stars. My personal experience has been very favorable. BTW, I should mention, I have no ties or relations to the owner or management, or any employee of Ormsby's. I can tell you this, I was treated kindly by Tom Ormsby and he is fair and patient. He also could have easily charged my by the day that our totalled car was in his storage (locked, fully enclosed building). The car was kept safe and he was very nice to work with. I will absolutely be recommending his services to others I know and care about as well as, perhaps even purchase a car from him in the near future. You don't stay in business in the midwest for 78 years without offering something of value. Lastly, the Ormsby showroom is so clean that you literally could eat off the floor, even though I don't eat off of floors :-) I hope this review adds value to anyone looking for a towing or auto sales company.

YIKES I really never…read morepost reviews, but I feel like I HAVE to so that people know what they're getting into with this shop... Back in August my car got some body damage and was brought to ABRA Auto Body right by this shop. Well, it's alternator also decided to go out on me, so once the body shop fixed the body damage they graciously brought it to Ormsby since it was close (I live 2 hours away from Crystal Lake and was visiting my family when this all happened, so I wasn't nearby). Needless to say we got the alternator replaced and all went well. UNTIL about a month or 2 later when it started having problems again. We assumed the car was having new problems and just didn't have time to bring it to get checked out, so we replaced the battery... and that helped but didn't solve any of our problems. So we then brought it to a shop local to us and guess what? The alternator that this shop put into it was bad... so here we are, having to put another alternator into our car a few months later because Ormsby decided what our car needed was a bad alternator. So keep this in mind if you plan on going here... months down the line you may have to redo what you paid them to do...
