Expect anything everything but no rides. It was 32 of us total and everyone left with several bags. All of the ladies loved it. Its been a week since we all piled in for the birthday shopping and I still have bags of cotton candy and cookies in my refrigerator. The brisket bbq sandwiches was my favorite. The pink strawberry lemonade cake I enjoyed that to. We all stood in line for the fresh cooked popcorn. The kids liked the cat in the hat books. The toys with the little ones was exciting to see all the kids grabbed a toy and a book. They whole back of the store was various rugs, and pretty great condition. They had a lot of name brand goods and when we went, a lot of holiday left overs that didn't sell. Lots of beverage type, cleaning materials, hair and body care, kitchen appliances, clothing, electronics - honestly, so much! There was also a book section, which we picked up a lot of options for our little one to enjoy for less than $3. We will have to come back again to look at rugs for our bedroom.

The shopping experience was amazing until we made our way to the checkout and a very rude and disrespectful employee walked out of her checkout lane and yelled at us asking if we are going to checkout and we answered yes and she proceeded to yell that we need to walk back to the end of the lane and wait by the sign LIKE IT SAYS YOU NEED TO. The sign she is referring to was a 8x10 box that was tucked away in a corner for any person looking at the thing around would not be able to see.Then she walks away from the checkouts and talked to the customer service department and made us wait one of her coworkers to call us over. I've rarely needed employee assistance here outside of check out but all the employees I have come across have been friendly. They have a new check out area that wraps around with little items to shop/buy (like a Marshalls type vibe). This is the first time I've seen this at a Dollar Tree and I loved it. It was Christmas season and their display easily showed me a few items I could get for stocking stuffers. They also have self checkout and a person to check you out. I liked that as well. I prefer self checkout and was able to use the machine easily. I highly recommend this store.
