The accommodations are beyond comfortable- a/c, fan, fridge, coffee maker, outlets to charge devices, and a comfortable bed. We basically had the comforts of a hotel room while being on a camping trip. The esthetics and convenient set up ensures we'll definitely be back!

Wanting to ensure…read moreour first "camping" experience since then would be one to remember and inspire more, I chose glamping to reduce the heavy lifting. And boy, am I glad I did. Not because of the: - Ice-cold AC that felt like a personal Arctic breeze - Mini fridge that perfectly held all our essentials (and a sneaky stash of chocolate for S'mores) - Keurig coffee maker that made mornings in the wild feel like a cozy café - Extremely comfy beds that cradled us like marshmallows - Strategically placed fan keeping the cool air flowing and the bugs away - All in a safe, clean, well-appointed tent and campsite that made us feel like nature royalty But also for the pure joy of being able to immerse ourselves in nature with none of the hassle. In just five minutes, you could be on the river or fishing. We saw everything from alligators and turtles to amazing birds. The water was crystal clear, and the campers were extremely friendly and respectful. Even the shower water was hot with great pressure - a true luxury in the wild. For novices and pros alike, this is the perfect way to introduce kids and adults to camping. You get the best of both worlds - the thrill of the great outdoors with the comforts of home. However, a quick tip for fellow glampers: make sure the Velcro seams on your tent are sealed. Otherwise, you might wake up at 3 am to a raccoon staring at you eye to eye, munching on a bag of Cheetos. Trust me, nothing says "good morning" quite like a critter with a penchant for junk food and personal space invasion! In the end, our glamping trip was the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a first-timer, this experience is bound to leave you with great memories and a newfound appreciation for the great outdoors - with the added bonus of a good night's sleep and no backaches. Plus, you get to tell the tale of your midnight raccoon rendezvous - a true badge of glamping honor!

My boyfriend and I booked a premium cabin for a week and were super excited to stay in it. Overall…read moreour experience was alright but we had a few inconveniences. The bad: 1. We just drove 9 hours and were excited to get into our cabin but were stopped by housekeeping because they had not cleaned it yet. We were told that she would get it done within the next 30 minutes and to go "walk around". They seem to be understaffed, so we let it go. 2. The heat went out and our cabin was freezing. It was 46 degrees both mornings. We called maintenance and they could not figure out how to get it to work. We had to go buy a space heater to get us through the last bit of our vacation. 3. The WiFi on our TV randomly went out the last night and we couldn't watch anything or get the WiFi to work. 4. There was little to no water pressure in our shower. I know its kind of a picky thing to complain about- but it wasn't great. The Good: 1. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved how cozy it felt. 2. We got our own parking spot next to our cabin which was convenient. 3. It was quiet and peaceful while we were there and that was super nice. 4. The staff were very polite.

The cabin we stayed in was infested with termites,…read moreand it wasn't just our cabin -- family members staying two cabins down experienced the exact same issue. There were termites throughout the cabin, and it honestly felt like the AC was turned down extremely low to try to hide the problem and keep the bugs less active. When we brought the issue up, management refused to offer any refund or resolution and simply hid behind their "no refund" cancellation policy, despite the condition of the cabins. A cancellation policy should not excuse guests being forced to stay in an infested property. We spent the trip uncomfortable and constantly dealing with bugs instead of enjoying our vacation. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere until this issue is actually addressed.

The staff has been nothing but friendly, the neighbors are pleasant, and the site is maintained and clean. My biggest complaint would be is that you better be prepared to have a hotspot, and it's an OG spot. I reserved my spot 3 months ago via phone and it took me a call back in order for me to get my receipt (work expense). I had to call them in order to confirm everything was good when the time came. However, I was a day behind and they pro-rated it, and have been extremely understanding for my situation. You gotta pick your battles with everything. The woman below me, I am extremely sorry about your granddaughter, and hope she is doing well. However, keep in mind other people go through things as well, and may have other things on their plate to where they might come off in a disrespectful manner. Regardless, hope all is well for your family. This place ain't a 5 star, 3.8 all day. Linda runs the show, she's cool. Her boyfriend (guess he wasn't really worthy of remembering the name, whoops) putts around on a golf cart with his finger in his belly button all day, and there's another lady Paula that runs some stuff. All of them have been helpful. Even the belly button dude. Would recommend. Also, when you see the belly button boyfriend please feel free to reply what sandwich he was eating on February 19th, 2022. It looks awesome, until he touched his belly button then took another bite. Just want the location, no other specifics necessary. P.S. I still recommend this place. Linda is cool.

Meaning we would have water, sewer and electric. We were offered a 30 amp power pole THATS IT. So after our long drive I got out to go find the restrooms and showers.... I walked into the recreational hall, and was greeted by the manager BOBBY, she was very rude and was even surprised I was using the restroom outside of my Rv.... like it's not normal to use the facilities.... and within 5 minutes of me using the restroom the lady BOBBY told my husband and I we did not pay the deposit or reserve a spot and told me that the restroom facility closes at 10 o clock....... She threatened us with the police because I took out my phone, to show her where I did pay the deposit saying "your not allowed to video" *** I never was. I was just trying to show her the deposit she was rude and told me to hush and practically demanded she come inside out Rig to inspect to make sure we were self contained..... we left within 5 minutes of getting there, and did not get our money back.

You can see the catfish all over the lake just swimming by your bait n just testing you lol there's a crap ton of them near the pier but you gotta be careful cuz there's tons of alligators there to. I pulled out a nice size Catfish n then lost my second one to a damn alligator! Im happy the line broke cuz if i had lost my Shakespeare rod to i would've been more pissed! I got lucky n the couple nearby gave their bluegills. Went home happy with 1 catfish n 4 bluegills. Shared tips n bait store locations with a family camping there to. I wish the park entrance dude sold worms. It would be extra money for the park. I kept the catfish for a couple days in my aquarium, but he wouldn't take to it. I fillet his ass with the other fish. Doing fish tacos later. I used night crawlers from bass pro n sprayed them with-garlic sent to amplify the smell. I will try my homemade punch bait next tome. I found something tasty for them. Oh yeah, i caught some ghost shrimps in a cup but let them go. They look like glass at first then they moved around nicely. They are at grass edge, i do not recommend you get close to the edge!! Use a fishing rod n tie a water bottle or cup at the end with bait in it. I use catfish punch. Please don't let your pets get near the edge either. Gattor follow u when you are near water. Keep track of your kids!
