The place has a nice atmosphere to have a chat, and I noticed that none of the wines exhibited had twisted cup (Thumbs Up!).
Being a special date for my wife and I decided to go to this place. First mistake was not to make reservations, but we thought that being Monday.... anyway, we were told that no tables were available.. so we sat at the bar... although tables were becoming available 10 minutes after our arrival.
The waitress with a beautiful smile offered the table, BUT under the condition that if somebody was coming we had to leave the table! No even offering the usual sharing. I found this very annoying, particularly the three tables remained free for more than an hour we stayed there. NO courtesy, nor respect for first come first serve and make of the visit a nice experience.
Second the food, ok nice try but these guys have a poor view of what a real pintxo is. Combinations that were odd and difficult.. example mussels with salami...(really??!) but the poorest ranking I can give was the quality of bread... sorry for a Pintxo place bread quality is a must.
NICE try, but not enough to make me wish getting back read more
