De Markt has a perfectly reasonable selection of wines by the glass; there were also at least four beers on tap as well as plenty of bottled beers. I had a draft beer by Brouwerij Maximus; I'm pretty sure that it was the brutus. I basically loved the beer -- one piece of evidence for this is that I ordered a second glass immediately after finishing the first one. De Markt is nice inside (where we sat). The servers were friendly and came over quickly when our pitchers of tap water were empty or when looked as though we were otherwise needy.

The decor is festive and unique and it felt like we were eating inside a cave but the unique things on display kept me looking to see what else I could see. We ordered a pizza and a filet Gorgonzola while we sipped our drinks. The meal was delivered quite quickly - looked amazing and tasted very good too. The pizza was great - awesome crust and flavorful toppings. The filet was good - a little undercooked but that's okay with me. The sauce was nice but not a standout. All in all I'd try something different next time. Definitely like the location, food and atmosphere.
