So, as the name would suggest, it's literally a large historic boat, still in the water, that's been converted into a restaurant that sells pancakes. These aren't pancakes in the manner that Americans think of them. To us, they'd be more akin to crepes. They come in every manner of savory and sweet. The staff was happy to accommodate my request to enjoy a veggie crepe. The size of the crepe was huge! In a break with the norm for dining in the Netherlands, the staff didn't look at me as though I was insane for requesting the left-overs to-go. (A disgusting habit in the eyes of most Europeans...)
