Only a few homes have had the same landscaping company for more than five years. And that is just the nature of the business, and it's true for many other companies that provide home-related services. We read about David and Greenscapes on another platform where he had received several stellar reviews. We were not happy with our previous two landscaping companies, one of whom still does almost all the homes on our block, for very low prices. But they were not careful while landscaping around our house and we were tired of constant calls telling them about their reckless employees. Or even during fall cleanup when they would bring the neighbor's leaves onto our property, which included plastic bottles and even pieces of litter. Enter David and Greenscapes. We contacted him on Monday, showed him our property on Tuesday, and on Wednesday he brought his crew to do our spring cleanup. His crew made the extra effort over and over again, picking up that one extra stick, pushing the leaves just a little farther than before, and made sure everything was as perfect as possible when they were done. We hope that Greenscapes and David will disrupt the landscapaing industry in our area in a good way. Last Spring we hired this company to renovate our front lawn. They came & did the work, but we…read morewere not pleased. Our front yard was torn up & not evened out after roto tilling, & there was still a huge amount of thatch left unraked. We called to have them come back. They said it looked good. We said that it did not, and asked them to redo the seeding. They did. When the grass started to come up, we were horrified to find that there were 2 different colors! I placed 2 or 3 phone calls to the company to say that we were very unhappy. Our calls were not returned. I spent all of last Fall re- raking and dethatching my lawn. It was an enormous amount of work, especially as I have a bad back, and am no longer young. When Spring came around this year again, I had to dethatch my lawn again because so much thatch had been left unraked by the company to begin with. I also had to reseed, to try to get the lawn all one color. We specifically told the company that we needed to have our lawn looking great, so that we might have the option of putting the house on the market within a couple of years. This company was highly recommended, so we are very put out and disappointed. We paid a lot of money for the work, & I ended up having to redo everything myself by hand. I am including pictures of the patchwork looking colors of the lawn, as well as the wheelbarrows full of thatch that I raked and hauled back into my woods.
