This place has a despicable customer service. I was charged by the daughter of the family that owns the shop for beers that I did not take. I have been insulted by her father when the next day I came for a refund.
It started with a misunderstanding on my side: I took 2 bottles of beer out of a package as I would do in any other supermarkets in Belgium. The daughter of the family that owns the shop told me that I was not supposed to do so and that I ruined a package of 8 beers. She wanted to charge me for the 8 beers, but I was not interested in having 8 of them. I sincerely apologized for my mistake and said that I would not take those 8 beers. When I arrived at home, I saw on the receipt that I was charged for the beers I did not take. So the next morning I went to the shop in order to be refunded or at least to grab the beers I paid for. The daughter was not there and I talked with her father.
He was present the day before, although he denied it. In the conversation, he contradicted his first allegation and made clear that he was present the previous day. When I pointed out these inconsistencies in his speech, he suddenly became angry and treated me of "connard" (French for asshole). I had been calm and gentle so far. I remained polite although I raised my voice as I was not OK with being insulted. In the end, I could neither get the beers nor be refunded.
The members of this family are arrogant, dishonest and not at all customer oriented. I feel like I have been robbed.
