Just some nuts and packs of chips. We got the popular paprika chips and tried their two most popular beers. They really have interesting beer glasses, we saw others carrying foghorn shaped glasses, hourglass shaped glasses, etc. They have both outside and inside seating. We sat outside right by the canal. The view was great from there. Loved our beers too! There are no servers, you have to order at the counter and wait for your beers by the adjacent station.

Dreupelkot is also known for Jenever-juniper flavored liquor. They have 200 offerings on the menu. That said, we were here for Klokke Roeland. (The Roland Bell which hung in the Ghent Belfry). A strong, (11.5% ABV) rich golden brown Ale. Some fruitiness with a slight bitter finish. We enjoyed it! As mentioned , brewed exclusively for Dreupelkot by Brouwerij Van Steenberge. Our server was upbeat and thought we ordered two Cokes (vs Klokke). I walked over and double-checked with him and we avoided a wrong order. Overall, a great stop with nice views of Binnenstad, for Klokke and also to try the Jenever.

We liked that it was never very busy when we went. The bartender was friendly. It seemed to be a locals hangout - when we walked in the first time, all conversation stopped until we made our way to a table.
