Upon arrival, I recognized the office manager (Melanie Jackson) as the same cheerful, go-getter office manager that was once at the Red Oak location. My 'nervies' disappeared about being at a new location, and when a brief snag arose with verifying coverage - once again this office manager proved to be a cheerful, go-getter, problem-solver (I've never seen an office manager care and work as hard as this one!). I was additionally pleased with Dr. Wald -friendly, professional, caring, and personable. December is a busy time of the year and many of us put off dental appointments until the very end, I appreciate the enthusiasm to which I was scheduled at this location and the kindness to which I was served.

The unexpected delay resulted in me losing much-needed income, as I am a therapist that had to cancel therapy sessions last-minute without being able to accommodate/adjust. He told me he didn't feel like I needed the crown bc he had been watching that tooth for a while and didn't see any change in it to warrant the need for a crown. I recently went back for my first checkup after the pandemic and the first time since it has changed ownership. Saw another dentist who told me I needed a deep cleaning bc she saw bone loss. While I was in for the procedure, I heard them telling two other patients they needed deep cleanings too. My husband had his checkup visit immediately after my deep cleaning and they told him he needed one as well. Why are they pushing deep cleaning? It can not be a coincidence that 4 people needed the service. And they would not perform the regular cleaning for my husband bc he declined the deep cleaning service. Why not finish the appointment they are charging our insurance for? It all feels very shady now. I've lost my trust that this office has the patients best interest at heart instead of pushing higher prices services. When you loose trust in your doctor, you've lost everything. Time to reevaluate my dental care provider.
