Then, 2 days later, they texted and asked if we could send pics of the work to be done. THEY ARE NOT LICENSED ARBORIST on any level. Just some non english speaking guys with chainsaws. As an individual who was a contractor for many year and had a landscaping division of the company, I can tell you that this is the worst "Landscaping" company I've ever seen. I recommend highly that you stay away from these fraudsters. A complaint has been filed with the Register of Contractors. The following are complaints found about this particular Morales Landscaping: *Debris Management: Crews blowing leaves, grass clippings, or yard waste into neighboring yards or onto public streets. *Property Miscommunication: Cutting or trimming specific bushes and plants against the owner's direct instructions due to language or communication gaps. *Conduct and Cleanup: Instances of workers leaving trash or improper roadside dumping behavior in public areas.Communication: *Delays in response times for scheduling, estimates, or follow-up maintenance visits.

My concern was that I felt the result was very different from what I hoped. I was disappointed. I hoped to have one of the nicest properties in the community, and instead I felt a little embarrassed. This is my fault, but I was out of the country for a couple of months while the company was doing the install, and I was too busy to give the project the careful thought that it required. After being in the house for one week, I decided that I was unhappy enough to be feel bad instead of happy about my new front and back yards. I decided to find another landscaper to totally redo the landscaping. I had seen the Desert Sage Landscaping truck several times over the past few months working on nicely landscaped properties (I rented a house in the community for 8 moths while they built my house). I liked what I saw. I talked with one of the guys and he took me to the owner, Miguel. I liked having the owner actively maintaining landscapes because that gave me confidence that he had a lot of practical, on the job experience with plants in our desert environment. I showed him my front and back yards and told him what I wanted done. I asked him about many plants that I liked and he told me what was good and what was bad. He was speaking from experience in maintaining so many properties. He gave me a plan within 24 hours and began a couple of days later. He and his crew spent about a week replacing the walkways and plants, and adding boulders, hills, irrigation, lights and many plants. The price was reasonable and the result is excellent. I hired them on May 2, 2025, for full tree removal and yard cleanup, which they explicitly quoted and verbally confirmed would include: * Removal of 4 dead trees (2 front, 2 back) * Stump removal * Weed clearance across the entire property * Removal of a back bush * Trimming of rot on cactus arms to prevent it from spreading What did I actually get for the $1,200 I paid? A rushed removal of two front trees and one small tree in the back -- and that's it. The stumps were untouched, weeds left to grow and spread, the cactus was ignored, and the bush remains in place. The dead cactus arms they neglected to remove have now rotted, meaning I'll have to pay an additional $600 to remove the entire cactus -- a direct result of their negligence. After this discovery, I tried to reach them the very next day. Text undelivered. Calls ignored. They changed their number and vanished. There's no trace of the business online, and no way to hold them accountable. Do not trust this company. Do not give them your business. Once they've cashed your check, they disappear.
