The nurses in the back are very professional and know their stuff. No one likes to be poked. Let's face it that's why most people won't even try. These guys are great!!! The last time I was there I hardly felt a thing. I've only almost passed out once (my fault for not eating prior) and they were quick to take care of me. Within 15 minutes I was out the door, feeling fine and back to work. So before you go...EAT before coming, make sure you are hydrated and take it easy afterwards.

On my member log-in page my card NEVER gave me the $20 I was PROMISED....the $20 card I was GIVEN BY ONE BLOOD STAFF....the $20 rewards that are ALL OVER THE OFFICE...their WEBPAGE...and my member portal!!! ******FRAUD******* After 6 days I called One Blood Orlando HQ----no reply from 2 agents I've dealt with in past. One (Salman Warsi), emailed that the policy was changed and monthly donors DO NOT GET REWARDS: "Starting 03/30, therapeutic donors who donate before the 56 day window are not eligible to receive rewards. The general and challenge rewards are tied to the standard whole blood eligibility of every 56 days. eGift Card rewards are only provided when donations occur within that eligibility window. If a donation happens before the 56 day window, even if it is doctor recommended, it does not quality for rewards." NOWHERE IN THEIR OFFICE.... in my portal....or on their WEBPAGE was this "CHANGE IN POLICY" posted!!!!! THIS IS FRAUDULENT....reude.....immortal...and very poor public relations!!! Very easy to use... and they had several open appointment times that made it very convenient. When I arrived, had a little bit of paperwork to do, and a tablet based questionaire for some easy questions. They took me back and I met my phlebotomist. Her name was Val... and she was awesome. Answered any questions I had, was very friendly and made me very comfortable. She did a excellent "stick"... got the vein on the first try... and took what she needed. She kept me entertained the whole! Really a great experience. If you would like to donate, this is a great location to do it at... although I have never had a bad experience on the Big Red Bus either. They all do a good job! Highly recommended!

I finally got my chance on memorial Day. I chose CSL plasma because their information on their app was very comprehensive. The three staff members that took care of me on my new donor visit were outstanding. Miss Gwen did my intake assessment and she was precisely by the book. As a career oncology nurse, I know that processes and standards are there to ensure safety, and I was so relieved with her attention to her facility's standards. Miss Nakina did my physical assessment, and again I saw that commitment to precision and safety. My technician who did the actual procedure was Miss Letti, and she must have used a magic needle because I didn't feel a thing! I felt so safe there. The debit card is a safe way to receive payment, and I strongly suggest reading the paperwork/schedule of fees that comes with it so you don't spend money on fees you don't have to! I'm extremely frustrated because getting donors paid should have been a top priority. The way management has handled this situation is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, they left a needle in my arm for far too long after the power went out, which is absolutely ridiculous. That should never happen, and it could have caused serious complications. The entire experience has been unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm hoping I finally receive my funds today, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if I have to wait another day. Trust me--I won't be coming back.

With that said, the front desk staff has always been welcoming and helpful. Mo the nurse or medical assistant is upbeat, friendly, and extremely helpful. Dr. Miller, the Hand Specialist, is warm and has an amazing bedside manner. She is very thorough with her examinations and explains things in details. She listens to my concerns or questions and gives me detailed responses. I could not be happier with my recovery. It may be slow, but slow healing is better than the quick worsening that I experienced while being treated at another clinic and a general physician.

The physical performed by the physician assistant also seemed rushed and incomplete. I had a physical at another location the day before, so I had a clear basis for comparison. The exam at this location felt more like a box-checking exercise than a thorough evaluation. I ultimately decided to walk out because I no longer had confidence in the level of care I would receive. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone who values professionalism, respect for patients, or quality service.
