From my initial consultation with Scott Oswald, the firm's principal, through my work with attorney Kellee Kruse, I was consistently impressed by their professionalism, expertise, and dedication. They took the time to thoroughly evaluate my case and demonstrated a clear commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for my employment situation. Kellee was particularly responsive and communicative, always making herself available to answer questions and keeping me well-informed of developments throughout the process. I highly recommend The Employment Law Group for any employment-related matters, regardless of complexity. Their thoughtful approach and level of service make them a worthwhile investment.

He spent all the time needed -- never rushed, never distracted -- and walked me through the legal landscape with clarity, honesty, and insight. What stood out most was his accessibility and genuine concern. He told me multiple times to call him if anything changed, and he meant it. That level of commitment is rare. His guidance gave me direction at a time when I needed it most, and his professionalism and depth of knowledge were evident in every interaction. If you're looking for an attorney who is not only highly skilled but also truly cares about the people he represents, I cannot recommend Attorney Oswald enough. He exceeded every expectation.

They are extremely responsive and, as a result, I was able to keep a level head in a tough, emotional, and exasperating situation. In less than two months, Melissa and her team obtained a large settlement (including benefits) for me. The firm is passionate about righting wrongs and, also, offer the fairest fee structure. One of the top trial attorneys in labor/employment law recommended Melissa Washington and The Washington Law Firm. The attorney advised that if she needed a lawyer to represent her in an employment action, she would chose Melissa. I can't think of a stronger recommendation, and I whole-heartedly agree.

Unprepared, unknowledgeable, and greedy…read more Greedy. They took every penny over my wife's existing settlement offer. She came to them with an existing offer. They sent a single letter, which raised the offer 50%, but had the lack of ethics to demand their take on the money she already had on the table. In effect they took every penny they could instead of doing the right thing, which is to take your cut on the dollars they actually brought to the table. My wife left this firm in the exact same economic position she entered it. They are shameless. Unknowledgeable. In a call with a partner who supposedly had 25 years experience, she didn't even realize my wife's claim was ineligible for federal EEOC complaint. A threshold issue. The case strategy was badly mismanaged from the beginning as a result. They tossed her case to several lawyers in their firm and none ever learned it. Unprepared. We were double billed and only when WE realized it did they modify the billing. They cannot even block and tackle nevertheless win a case. My advice: Hire a firm that fights FOR you, not fights you. We settled for worse terms than we otherwise would have because we were tired of fighting our own lawyers at Lescht. When you need a lawyer, you need them to fight for you. Lescht does not. Seriously, shoot me an email if you are considering hiring them.

This is what I wrote about Attorney John Mahoney a few years ago. I was very upset because he…read morecompletely dismissed anything I had to say without listening to the case. Of course I didn't get a reply but that conversation with John was very dismissive. Not sure if he had a bad day or was that his normal demeaner. Either way, I continued my research and went with Solomon Law Firm and she was simply amazing! Despite her cancer diagnosis, she was VERY professional and listed to the case. She took it and long story short, the command settled. Below is the dialog I had with attorney John Mahoney himself. You seem to be a very competent lawyer whom I was hoping to hear me and represent my case. I was very excited to speak with you today after trying well over a month to have a conversation. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to hear how quickly you were dismissive without even hearing all of what I had to say about my case and trying to discourage me by throwing number like 200k to represent me with a 1% chance of winning. I understand that it might be costly to represent a person, but from the beginning of the conversation, I felt as if you didn't want to hear anything I had to say and just wanted me to stop. All I wanted was justice for the wrong that was done to me and acquire a lawyer to represent me in the right way and I thought that you were that lawyer because of your experience and expertise with matters of this nature. It became apparent that you didn't want to represent me and you have every right to just say no. I just wish that you would have just taken my call back in July and told me that you weren't interested so that I could have found another competent lawyer. I know this will more than likely fall on deaf ears, but I felt the need to address how disappointed I was with our conversation and hope that you don't treat others like this. Have a great Labor Day weekend.
