I have had some imperfect experiences with therapists before, but nothing like this. In the first months she was mostly ok, though somewhat unprofessional. She would text on her phone during sessions and she wasn't always paying attention. She also criticized the receptionist, which left me feeling like I had to protect that person. But, I realize that social workers are human too, so I was trying to overlook those issues. But in the last session she was so odd and cruel that I have had nightmares a year later. I had to go to a food bank to feed my family, and when I told her that, she balled her hands up into fists and gasped and just launched into chastizing me. She squeezed her eyes into slits and jutted her chin out while pursing her lips together. It looked kind of like a toddler who was very upset and having a tantrum. And she was exhaling in hissing sounds. I was just sitting there in total shock. She acted like I had committed a horrible crime. In the same session, I had just told her that the transmission on our car had failed. I am disabled and low-income, and I had spent months telling her how hard I was trying to be frugal and thrifty. And I struggle with severe social anxiety, so obviously I would never willingly walk into a food bank if I didn't truly need help. There is something really wrong with her. I think she must really need some help. But, whatever her problems were... she took them out on a client that day. She made my social anxiety worse. She also has clear and obvious issues with anyone who is overweight, disabled, etc. Stay safe and avoid this social worker. I have not worked with any of the other people at this location so I have no information about them.

Blatant disregard for patient care…read more Broke loose my implant in her office for hurrying the procedure and played it off like it'll heal itself, even after I screamed in pain and complained of it wiggling after it was previously securely rooted. New periodontist: "If she had any idea what she's doing you should never have left that office with this still in your mouth". Did not take an X-ray or even view the recently installed implant, just went right to screwing in a temporary. Not even an offer to fix her mistake or an apology. After a five minute wait my name was called and I was on my way back to my yearly checkup. Ashlie was my dental assistant and I was able to get a few questions in when her hand wasn't busy inside my mouth. Ashlei does hair as well and has a passion for good dental hygiene because she wore braces twice, and I had them once as well. Dr. Christine wasted no time getting in the chair after my X-rays were finished and deep cleaned in between my teeth. We were able to chat about the origin of my new last name and the current events that have recently turned all of our lives upside down. I'm sure my previous review was fueled from emotion and things going unexpectedly, but this visit has been the best one yet! I really appreciate the staff minimizing customer contact and being attentive to my needs by making notes for next time so it's even more comfortable. This has been and will be the only place I come for all my dental needs. Thank you Gentle Denistry team for always taking care of me, even at times I did not deserve it.
