Mini golf was great!! It's a really cool course but they need to fix a few of the lights.

This place has been around for a while and continues to have a slow decline in quality and offerings. The mini golf course was decent for the area, but unfortunately was full of leaves, sticks and debris. I would think they could spend 15minutes in the morning with a leaf blower to clear the course. The bounce houses where the bumper boats used to be look very out of place and the old dilapidate bumper boats still lie and hand around through the area as a reminder of better times. The staff were friendly enough, but the facility needs lots of TLC and hopefully a strategic plan for improvement. read more

It is not outdoors and it's not a perfect recreation of playing golf outside on a warm day but IT IS THE NEXT BEST THING. It is basically a very no frills type of place but the virtual golf is a lot of fun and can be pretty challenging depending on the course you choose. The have some food and beer( bottle and tap). I have not tried any of the food but the beer is cold and it's fun to practice on these simulators in the cold and rainy weather. Make sure you book your time because they can fill up since there seems to be only five simulators. read more

Ever wonder where anyone can find a minigolf course in the 845? Ding ding, well it's here. Directions: Parking is provided only in the back, and the only exit is on the northbound side on route 9. If anybody goes past it, you'd have to turn around. Look for the stoplight and Rite Aid, having the option of going north or turning off onto New Hackensack Rd. and it will be on the left a couple of feet down. You'll then see a volleyball field and parking directly across from it. Also worth noting a big sign would be very helpful especially for the first comers. For the people who have been in the 845 for a long time and remember Fun Central, you'll understand. Facility: The layout is much different than what I remembered, and there's a lot to offer. What stands out the most is minigolf, which is the main attraction and also having a tourist vacation feel. The course is laid out with your typical 18 holes. It's quite enjoyable when the holes are challenging because the majority is near water and also featuring hills and bumps. If you're not careful enough, some will go in. It's still a lot of fun despite that and every hole has its own unique setup, with some being easier than others. That's not it, there are also bumper boats that are open to anyone, an arcade room inside, an indoor glow in the dark mini golf, and to go even crazy, a golf simulator. (Those I haven't tried yet besides the actual minigolf). Lastly, food, snacks, and drinks are provided for anyone's convenience. You have a number of options to choose from pizza, cheeseburger, quesadillas, and a kid's menu with reasonable pricing ranging from $4 - 12. I've passed this place many times. This time I decided to take a look. Although I didn't avail myself of the activities; I was impressed. The place is clean, well maintained; the staff, I encountered, were very accommodating & pleasant, explaining that it was open to the general public, they cater birthday parties (there was one commencing), there are adult refreshments and food available. Overall it's a "family friendly" environment. There are those 'games of skill' and other indoor activities. No complaints. BTW, I haven't seen a real miniature golf course in decades. I don't know why. I'll be sure to tell the people I know about the place. read more

Place is run down down bother wasting your money or time. And worst of all on there broken down games that should not be allowed to be plugged in. NO REFUNDS!!!!!! How do you tell a kid that after you put money in and lose it....thats it you lost your money kid. This is a cool little place that I brought my family to on a rainy day for something to do to kill time. Our first task was to play 18 holes of mini golf, and I noticed that they also have big person golf inside using all sorts of technology. Simulation style. It looked wicked awesome, but alas, it was not my day to play. We played 18 holes (3 hole in ones for me, including the last hole) and had a blast. After that, my kids wanted to cool off on the bumper boats, so we got them out there on the water and said "don't get too wet." So of course, my son goes to the bucket that fills with water and waits under it for it to dump on his head. Kids. They had a great time though. The inside also has pool tables, a bar, arcades, and snacks. Overall, looked like a pretty fun place to spend the day, but we had other plans and had to move on. read more

Took our grandsons there for a fun outing. Outdoor Mini golf was fun but the course has not been kept up so some of the hole were difficult to putt. everything was old and worn. the bumper car pool looked filthy as did much of the water features around the park. Bathrooms were gross to put it mildly. The two staff people there were friendly and helpful but good customer service can't put a shine on the facility, its old, dirty, and worn. I certainly would not eat there as it does not look clean at all. A little TLC would go a long way. Until then, we wont be going back read more

I was looking for a place like this with lots of fun options for me and my 8 year-old to enjoy on a weekend afternoon. We usually don't mind driving an hour or so from the Bronx and saw that this place was about an hour an twenty mins away. After seeing the great reviews we decided to take a ride on a Sunday afternoon. Its located right on the main road. We arrived at about 2 PM on a Sunday. The parking lot had lots of space available, especially towards the back of the building. We saw that there was volleyball in the back which looked awesome. There were some younger people there enjoying a game with some music blasting in the background. Once you enter, you have a few options...there is the outdoor mini golf, the indoor glow in the dark mini golf, a small arcade, bumper boats, a golf simulator and finally the bar/eatery. You can pay per activity ($6-8 each) or buy a combo of 2 or 3 activities and save a few bucks. It being a nice day and all, we opted for the outdoor mini golf and bumper boats. The course was crowded everyone was pretty respectful of the lines, so even larger groups or 6+ hustled along as a courtesy to those behind them, which was nice. We never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to advance to the other hole. The course decor is very nice and well kept. The colors were very vibrant and I noticed that the course had lights, which I would imagine turn on in the night. I also liked that some of the holes were challenging. Too often, I see mini golf courses with basic and very easy holes so it was nice to see some holes with lots of challenging hills and bumps. Afterward we tried the bumper boats. I believe the minimum height requirement is about 44 inches or so to ride alone. The mechanics are very simple with two levers/buttons and a steering wheel. One lever to move the boat forward and another one for the....WATER GUN! Each boat has a water gun that you can shoot which was hella fun...so if you go with a group of friends, be prepared to get wet...maybe not soaked, but wet. The only downside is that the activity only lasts for 6 minutes?! I am sure they gave us extra minutes since it was fairly empty at the time, but I would think 10 minutes may be more appropriate...after all..time flies when you're having fun. After that we went in to grab a snack. The bar seemed pretty well stocked with a variety of soft drinks as well as beer. They have bottles as well as a rotating draft selection. I has a draft beer and it was about $6-7 ish. The menu had basic diner/bar-like items like french fries, chicken fingers, hot dogs etc... There is a kid's menu there where you can get say...chicken fingers/hot dog and fries for $5, which is very reasonable. Like the golf course, the eating area and bar were very clean and well kept. We finally stopped by the small arcade area for a few games of skeeball, basketball and a shooting game. The games accept quarters and there is a change machine there. Overall we had a great time. I was very impressed with how well cared for everything was. It was also very reasonably priced in my opinion. Bathrooms were clean. Last, but definitely not least...kudos to the staff there. Everyone there was nice, patient and helpful. There were a few different females employees alternating stations from the counter, to the bar, to the bumper boats and all of them were great. They all seemed to work well together and were friendly to all the customers. Booked a golf simulator a month ahead of time. Got a call an hour before my time to let me know they were overbooked and couldn't honor my reservation. They have 5 simulators and mine was the first tee time as they opened so when I asked how could I be the one getting bumped because of their incompetence I was told everyone else had it booked earlier. Which is clearly a lie because you can call and get these tee times a few days before with no problem at all and I planned ahead and booked a month before mine. read more

My wife booked a party for our 4 year old for golf and pizza. We showed up with our party and they had no idea who we were. We were promised fresh baked pizza, an arcade, shaved ice or ice cream. Nobody's had anything written down. The manager was rude to my wife when she called. The place is run by children who have no idea what they are doing. They just threw golf stuff at us. I had to ask for music is the indoor golf and the kid hooked up an iPod to a speaker. It was just thrown together with little regard of anything. Nobody cares. read more

Went here with my dad for a hour and it was horrible. On Facebook it says there was a haunted house, when we came no haunted house. Hold on though it gets worse, we see a glow in the dark mini golf so we pay and go in. We think there's gonna be like 10+ levels but no. 5 mini levels and the balls don't even glow in the dark like the person at the desk said. We then decided to go out and did the outside ones, the outside ones were actually decent, fun but also hard too. Theirs one level which they need to fix it's the second to last. Every time you hit the ball it always goes down the hill and gets stuck me and my dad had to it multiple times before it got in. The course had puddles every few courses and leaves were all over the places. After the course we got hungry and went it. Just to find out that the FRIER ISNT WORKING so half the items were not available. We even asked for a milkshake just for them to also say their out of milk. The funny thing is they had a milkshake stick on the door in the back. No hand sanitizer either so high chance of getting sick. Overall 2 1/5 could be way better. read more

Came here to pass the time before dinner. Ordered some beers at the bar to be able to deal with the kids running amuck all over. Mini golf course is pretty fun, but we ended up giving in halfway through because a little kid's birthday party apparently gets to rudely cut you and/or rush you. That didn't ruin our day until we noticed a family infront of us with a few young children clearly upset that they were being rushed by this party and the rude staff members. Came to find out that one of their children was on the Autism spectrum and was seriously disturbed by the rude employees and lack of courtesy for the time that they paid for. Came inside after we were finished to see the parents trying to get their money back for the bumper boats that were paid for already but couldn't enjoy because of the incidents on the mini golf course. The "manager" couldn't have been more rude to them and extremely insensitive to the situation. Will not be returning after witnessing this, and highly suggest any families looking to come here think twice. I hope they wisen up and get some sensitivity training on children with special needs. I enjoy coming to DC sports seldom​ all year round. I enjoy going to the simulators at this place to practice during inclement​ weather and the colder months. The sims can be expensive to play on a daily/weekly basis but seem to be very accurate for practice. Putting and chips is always a little quirky​ to me due to decreased perception of distance and reading greens. I did play on the putt-putt​ course outdoors, ​which is good. You can always order a bulk amount of time on the sims, which is worth it if you can afford it. read more

The staff is very rude the owners mother has no control for her mouth or respect for the customers we were there on Sunday.Literally we have gone every Sunday this summer but particularly this Sunday the owners mother was there. It started with her coming outside saying something about using the radio that we use every time we are there the staff working allowed us too. She was being super rude to my friends and us when all we do is stay outside and play volleyball. Mind you we spend at least 100s of dollars there every Sunday. She also took our pictures when no one consented to it. Just super super dissatisfied with the way we were treated. It was very disappointing and sad that the owners mother and the staff would treat great customers like this. The thing is too we have never seen the lady worker and the owners mother there any day this summer the rest of the staff is wonderful though I will say that but to the owners mother and the lady with those evil eyebrows shame on you ! read more

This review is about their mini-golf only... Years ago I used to play the mini-golf courses at the Jersey Shore boardwalks.. These were a lot of fun. There were holes with moving parts, innovative tunnels and bridges, and many nicely done artistic mini buildings, people, etc. This course ain't like that... Whoever designed this course has a thing for elevated platforms on the greens.That's about it. Watch where you walk at night, because their were many lights out --you're walking towards the hole and almost trip because there's a "hill" in front of you. You could say that it was "challenging" , but that's only because the balls keep rolling off of the elevated areas...and the occasional missteps due to almost falling over... For what it is, $5 dollars seems about right --not the $9 dollars per person we were charged. I have more fun playing golf on my pc... read more

So we went to DC Sports last weekend because last year I had won 1 free round of mini golf for 4 good for 1 year from a local radio station. I was told my name would be on a list and I just needed to show my ID. However, the girl at the front counter said the manager had the list somewhere in his office and he wasn't there. Since we had driven half an hour to get there, we decided just to pay since she wasn't going to take my word for it. She did take my name and number for the manager to call me back. That was over a week ago and I haven't received a call yet. The course was fun, but I could've gone to play mini golf closer to my house for less money. I traveled there because I had won a free round, and it was still well within the 1 year time limit. Unfortunately it wasn't honored. read more

I have to admit, this was the first time in my life I've ever been mini-golfing, but I can't imagine a more fun course than this one. I loved the bridges, little buildings, "rock" tunnel, castle, and pirate ship. The holes were challenging but a lot of fun. My son had such a great time he wants to have his next birthday party here. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and thank you to the young lady who let my son do the bumper boats even though that meant she'd have to come outside and wait in the rain while he took his ride. Extremely boring course outside. Every hole is basically just putting to the hole that has a hill at the hole. That's their idea of a hard course and fun course. A hard and fun course is when people have to putt between a windmill, down a mountain, have sand on the hole, a passageway that puts the ball close to the hole, putt through a waterfall, etc. It's important to make the course fun and enjoyable for people of all ages. They need to take a look at all the famous miniature golf courses and at least take some ideas and use them to make course more fun and exciting. Won't ever play this course again. read more

Have loved this place since I was a kid. The mini golf course is great for the area. They let you drink beer on the golf course which is a plus and they have a decent beer selection. Naya helped us get our clubs and was lovely. Sarah & Sarah behind the bar were amazing. Greg also also poured a decent beer. read more

So for the whole summer me and my friends would go to DC sports to play volleyball every Sunday.This particular one Sunday we went to go play, we ran into the owner and she started yelling at me like a Child for using the speaker that we were told we were allowed to use in the past, by her employees,in the back and she did it the most rudest way ever. Every Sunday as soon I arrive I go to the Bluetooth while someone goes inside to pay. And she was even yelling about me not going inside even tho little to her knowledge someone was already inside paying for me. And even tho she was rude I was still trying to show her respect because it is her establishment and we do enjoy playing there. We just happen to get on the wrong foot. She goes back inside and a few minutes later,while we're still waiting for people to show up, one of the employees comes outside to count how many people there are outside to tell us we haven't paid. Mind you , everyone wasn't present yet so we were waiting for others to know the exact amount to go inside with. We finally have everyone gathered up and paid for. Within the middle of our first game, not even 10 minutes in, she comes outside demanding to know who's "in charge" out of all of use. I tell her she is, she is the owner after all. But that wasn't a good answer for her. She wanted to know who was in charge of our group. Well.. we're all adults.. so no one. She then proceeded to yell at us for having a pack of water with us and like a half dozen box of twisted teas. I understand there are signs that say no outside food or drinks allowed. But we have been going there all summer and employees have seen and said nothing about it before. We do also order food and drinks there as well, we spend a good amount of money inside,so I really don't see the problem. She also started yelling at my friends 18 months old baby for having a juice box "from outside". Anyway, as she is complaining to us, it just ruined my motivation to play so I told her fine, we'll leave then. As we're packing our stuff up she pulls out her cellphone, and without asking for consent, she starts taking pictures of all of us and the baby??So now that obviously triggers a lot of us so we demand a refund for everyone. She was refusing to give us a refund for a few minutes. She finally gave in and we all went inside. As shes processing all these refunds she's just being super rude while doing it and doing it with an employee who claimed someone called her "a bitch" when she went outside to check how many people didn't pay,which isn't true at all. So not only were they being rude but they were making up stories insulting our character. And we all remained calm for the most part even those these ladies were obviously being super rude for no apparent reason at all. After all the refunds were processed we asked her to delete the pictures and have whoever she sent them to delete them. She refused at first but after a little bickering at one another she gave in. As we're walking away her and her employees continue to say smart remarks behind our back. I really don't know whats going on with those ladies, especially the owner. Because as a owner you should have some sorta of people skills and from my whole experience with her so far, she has absolute zero. It's very unfortunate because we do love to go there but after that, it's safe to say we're never going back there again. I don't wanna make this a race thing but she wasn't so much even yelling at me directly except for the speaker thing. But once we cleared that up she didn't pay no mind to me, more so my friends, who are colored. And for all I know she probably was yelling at me just for being with them. I don't know, I could be wrong, but the way I witnessed her acting that day it was giving me a lot of "Karen" vibes if you know what I mean. I wish those ladies the best of luck at getting help. But I suggest you stay clear from that place, especially if you have kids,to avoid the experience we all had there. read more

I went for the first time today and my wife and I had a great time. It is clean, well maintained, and fun. Lots of options for both kids and adults plus a full bar and menu. Best mini golf in the hudson valley! Even on the hottest days - they're is plenty of shade to still enjoy and have fun!

This place is clean and a lot of fun. A lot of things to do. Service was poor. We used the golf simulator for an hour. The gentleman setup the simulator and then disappeared. Didn't explain where the sensors are or tell us how it worked. I had to go find him when I had a question. I also ordered an iced tea which tasted like sewer water. I believe there is a lot of potential but customer service needs to improve. read more

This is the best mini golf location around and it is a must if you are in town. There is not only outdoor which has amazing decor and a great variety of obstacles, there is also an indoor area that is glow in the dark which is a lot of fun. Definitely would do again. read more

If I could give this business LESS than a 1 star I would!! The people that run this establishment are RUDE, ABRASIVE and the most non friendly staff I have ever encountered. I made the mistake of taking some friend's children there for the water park, after only 6 minutes and spending $24.00 we were told our time was up. I then paid another $12.00 for them to have another 6 minutes. When I questioned the staff they were dismissive, impolite and ill-mannered. I would suggest you find other entertainment for your children, unless you want to pay exorbitant prices for less than 30 minutes of "fun". read more
