They came by daily to measure the water percent in the affected walls, floors, ceilings and carpeting and they replaced the garage ceiling and insulation to prevent the formation of mould . I was aware this company had poor…read morereviews but booked them based on our initial consultation with Sal and the hope for a good experience. We went with BioClean despite having a cheaper quote elsewhere. Unfortunately, the day of our job was a nightmare. The workers arrived 1 hr 10 minutes late without any phone call. This was after we made multiple calls to inquire why they were late. I received about four different excuses as to why they were late. Truthfully, the excuses did not help and it was the lack of professionalism and respect for our time that really upset us. Additionally, I felt the office staff spoke to me very unprofessionally with one person telling me he was "sick as shit" which is just an unprofessional way to speak to a customer. Additionally, there was a lack of communication between the inspector, the office, and the work team about the expectations for our project. In the end, they did rectify the situation by adjusting our final price. however, the day was still a major headache and we do not plan to work with this company again nor would i recommend them to anyone. we have had plenty of work done in our home and have never had such an unprofessional experience. I feel duped by our inspector about the quality of service we would receive.

Chris stained half my deck and 8 out of 28 windows (which I can't open now because they…read moreare painted shut) and then left without any warning and said he would not return until spring/summer 2027. This happened in Oct 2026. He refused to remove the samples he painted on my front door and on my deck. Among other things, he also refused to take about 15 large open buckets (without lids)of paint, paint thinner and other unknown liquids that he hid under my deck. Now I'm frantically looking for another contractor to finish the job before it gets too cold (deck cannot be stained when the temp is 40 degrees or below). Rain is forecasted for most of the next week so even if I somehow find a contractor it is unlikely they will have enough time and good weather to finish. Chris seemed like a really nice, super polite and highly qualified contractor but his true personality came out suddenly halfway through the job leaving me blindsided and in dire straights. I wish I had paid more attention to the negative reviews written by others who had similar experiences with Chris/Go Painting.

I called JAG around 8am the…read morefollowing morning and they gave me a confirmed appointment for the next morning but said they might be able to squeeze me in that afternoon. The communication was impressive (both email and text messages about the appointment and then texted when he wanted to confirm I could meet him the same day). Sure enough, Mike arrived around 1pm and showed me how to see the number of cycles on the opener along with the date of manufacture on the garage door. He gave me a few options (just replace the springs, replace the rollers and springs, replace the rollers, springs and hinges, etc.) and let me choose without any pressure. He set to work (I chose the option to replace the springs, cables and rollers -- the door was 22 years old so the originals had all put in their time) and 3 hours later was finished! Talk about quick turnaround! Additionally, I asked him to replace the weather seal on the bottom of the door since a mouse had eaten away a section of it. He gave me a reasonable price to complete that work at the same time. I have no idea what the going rate is for this sort of repair. Torsion springs are not DIY-friendly so it's expected that this is a somewhat sizable expense.

We have two rooms above the garage and decided to get an insulated door to improve heat loss, and in the summer, the blazing heat will be kept out. Very happy with the results.
