One of their employees (probably the owners so had a scam going with a mechanic or Fast Lube…read more(grease monkey) on Moffett Rd. The mechanic saw me an elderly woman coming in for an oil change & break pads for front passenger breaks. They charged me over $300 & then told me I needed a new caliper. Then he called Heritage & they promised to send my part to Fast Lube. All of this after they charged my card for $250. Fast Lube said they never got the part. Heritage said they delivered it. They sent me a picture of an open box sitting in front of a closed bey door. No writing on the box to prove it was from them & nothing on the wall or bay doo saying where they took it. I called Heritage & the guy refused to refund my money fo a part he says was delivered. I have since taken my car to the dealership only to be told I did not need a new caliper as there was nothing wrong with the old one. The manager at Fast Lube said he would call the owner & get this straightened out. After numerous calls & visits to both businesses I have still not gotten my money. Apparently these people care nothing about their reputation. But then, liars never do.

Purchased a used van door for over $600. The sole good thing about it, the door was for the most…read morepart, rust free. Purchased on Ebay, Heritage provided several photo's. Either this was a bait and switch, their door photo and the Ebay description was absent reference to a Federal Express logo or any logo. Logo's once on the door, after being removed, bleed thru new paint with their outline, as the glue affects future paint coverings, unless you strip the door down to metal, re prime and apply finish coat and hardener. Had this been made known, I would have offered less on the door. Additionally the electrical switches for the window were toast. I don't as of this writing know if the lock and window actuators work...... So when I questioned the lack of disclosure, requesting a $75 credit from Heritage to Ebay, Heritage accused me of fraud. What I should have done, was look at the negative responses thru the BBB, Ebay and this site here. They appear to have some substantial problems with honesty, following thru....

When comparing between used and rebuilding - the cost was similar (not taking labor into account) but a used engine was much quicker to arrive and get the truck up and running. What I didn't realize until the engine arrived is that a newer low mileage engine also has newer peripheral components such as tubing, throttle body, intake manifold, wiring harness, etc. that also are included with the long block. We threw away all of the existing engine parts. The remaining installation was much better than a rebuild, in my opinion. I did have an issue with a cold compression test that was low. I talked with Debbie who took care of me well. After installation which was flawless and uneventful, I performed the hot test (rather than cold) which was absolutely perfect. I would without a doubt do another engine swap with J and J.

Similar story. Ordered a transmission, was told it was tested, great condition, and that they only…read morework with reputable businesses. I was pretty skeptical buying a used transmission but the sales rep was very friendly and reassured me there wouldn't be any problems. $800 later at the mechanic, surprise surprise, the transmission was faulty. After over a month of back and forth they finally agreed to accept the return but have withheld the $200 'finders fee' which they do not deserve due sending me a faulty product. Now I'm out of pocket $1,000 not including having to find another transmission and having to repay the mechanic to install another one. Big waste of time and money, lesson learned, trying to save some money and support local businesses just doesn't add up here.

And on top of it BoB Tyler parts have a fantastic attitude on customer satisfaction. Additionally I'd like to compliment Greg my Service Manager. NEGLIGENT SERVICE TECH, DISHONEST MANAGEMENT, AWESOME SERVICE ADVISORS!!!…read more This dealership is the worst I've ever dealt with, only positive thing about them is the charismatic services advisors. SHOUT OUT TO BRANDI AND GREG FOR BEING THE BEST!!! Brought my truck in for periodic maintenance, was advised to replace my brakes pads also. Upon picking up my truck my steering wheel had excessive shaking, so I immediately returned to the shop. I asked to have a different tech look at my vehicle, as well as speak with a service manger, because I suspected my wheel wasn't put back on correctly. I was informed all service managers/supervisors had already left for the day and they still gave my truck back to the same tech. The tech, Jacob R, tried to claim it was a tire balancing/tread issue and added extra weights to my front wheels. However, prior to arrival my balance was fine, plus it was just checked. After picking my truck back up it still didn't feel completely right so I took it directly to Discount Tire only asking to change my lug nuts. Discount Tires lead manager and tech informed me my front tires were counter balanced and whoever did the job was just staking weights everywhere. I called the very next business day, asking to speak with the GM, but she was still out. The next day Victor, Service Manger, called me with the GM listening in but not responding. I informed him about all the issues and he seemed concerned and helpful. Victor asked me to give one day to sort things out and promised to make things right, on top of other things. The next day Victor called me, gave me a 30 minute window to call back, I called back with in 15 mins with no answer. After three days, I reported this to Toyota Brand Management, but unfortunately Victor is also the liaison for corporate and was making notes in the system saying he called me back two other times but he hadn't. The first time Victor called me he left a voicemail, the "other two" he never left a message, so he was trying to avoid me or clearly lying because I had zero missed calls or messages from him. Three weeks after not hearing anything from Bob Tyler the Line Supervisor called me, because Brand Management opened another case, however after all this it was clear the dealership and leaderslacked integrity so I decided to just cut ties. If you have similar issues don't hesitate to asks questions; if needed report it to Toyota Brand Management for their records and so they can establish a pattern. I did all my service with Toyota, a lot with Bob Tyler, for my truck and my wife's Rav 4. To include my wife just purchasing a brand new car from Bob Tyler two weeks earlier! I understand mistakes happen, but all I asked was for my brakes to be looked over by a second technician, after everything that happened. If you think your loyalty to the brand and this company will matter to Bob Tyler or his management team they'll surely prove you wrong in due time!
