I also cross check on Angies list and he had 2 nice reviews. I called on a Wednesday, and the work was completed on Friday Morning. I was really impressed that the work had been completed so fast. Maurer Welding was responsive, professional, his work was high quality and at a fair price. I imagine this guy can do a lot of really cool stuff and for me he repaired a piece of farm equipment. He fixed it in a way that is clearly stronger than before. He did a really nice job and I recommend Maurer Welding.

There are only a FEW "GREATS" out there, and Matt is one of THEM. After looking in Hatfield and Lansdale without any hits for a DEPENDABLE Fabrication Businesses, I expanded my search. Matt is located near Route 63 on Route 309, near C.L. Weber Pipe. I had a custom fabrication project that I needed done. My "Hand-Drawn" plans with 20 arrows, and multiple dimensions jammed in between elevations would give Einstein a migraine. I also needed stainless steel pieces welded to a plain metal frame. Matt stated: "NO PROBLEM" and understood exactly what I wanted. I was impressed with his shop, and several fascinating projects he was working on at the time I was there. I picked up my finished (Master) Piece today. It's better than I had imagined in my head, flawlessly executed, and Gucci-Glove perfect fit! Welding itself was quality, despite the type of metal you bring to range, they know what they are doing there. I originally had iron steps which lasted many years but when they start rusting it became very dangerous, so I decide that have the made-up in aluminum. From ordering the steps, the installation was more quick than I had expected and much faster than other iron fabricators offered. In addition, the cost was very fair and the installation was exact. Also the gentleman that I worked with were knowledgeable, professional, and very respectful. I also had a custom handrail made for my two steps in the front which turned out perfect, and as I had described to them.
