We called Smelscer to come out for a second opinion. Brett was so kind and easy to work with. He explained what needed to be done and treated me with the greatest respect. Also, the bid was much more reasonable than the previous company. They were here a couple of days later to get us fixed up, which they did with a very professional nature and all in one day. We will definitely be calling them again when we have another occurence.

I hired Shelton plumbing a year ago to install toilet and move plumbing inside the wall. I called the emergency Shelton plumber and home insurance came out and fixed it at that time I thought. Let's fast forward to a year later. My toilet started leaking at the bottom on the flower. The Shelton plumbing forgot to install the nut to bolt the toilet to the floor, which caused it to shift, leak, and severely damage the subfloor over time. I'm now stuck with expensive repairs again thanks to their careless mistake. The total amount that they have cost me over $3,000. I talked to the president of the company his apology came off very disingenuous. He was trying to get off the phone very quickly. He never offered to claim the damages with their insurance to help me pay for the cost.

They spent about 2 hours trying several different ways but nothing seemed to work. James noticed that the drain line ran close to the entry to the crawl space towards the back of the house close to the stoppage. He suggested that they put a clean out at that location which I agreed. After the cleanout was finished there was no problem in reaching the clog. The problem fixed and good to go. I also now have a cleanout closer to that area. What really impressed me was that he didn't charge me for the first attempt since they were unable to fix the problem. I would highly recommend this company.
